Shared experiences of myself along with other men, are designed to walk you through a process of awakening, self realization, discovery, and the power to conquer obstacles that easily beset us. We as men, neglect how important our hearts are in our lives and how it effects everything we do. Together we will fight through the filth and pain that's been built up over time and use it as training to learn to become the kings they were meant to be! But it all starts with the HEART. I fight for you and so do all the other guests on this journey!
The palace of silence is where the Kings are birthed. You learn to understand the power behind its act. You appreciate the beauty in the journey. Forged in somewhat of a rainy season in valleys where the sun's location is hard to pinpoint, the Sun is still in the midst. The most difficult aspect is learning to let the process be that, a process. All the elements are going on around you in this controlled environment. However, you're in the right place, amidst a gardener who has intent. Can't see a way out, just stand. In all of your chaos remember, that we grow towards the Sun.
This episode I go through questions brought by listeners. I answer them from the position of love and provide insight and understanding to the Kings (and queens) on a journey to becoming better.
"Self love" is term spoken as of recently, but what does it mean? Some take it as "doing things by yourself for yourself", but what are the effects? What does it benefit us to love on us? How does this actually impact us along with our environment?
When we discuss self love, in the regards to men, it's a complex subject. As men we have a responsibility to our circle. That means that the importance of ourselves can be prioritized on the lower end of the spectrum. What if our circle needed us to grasp this concept? What would happen if we did? Step into the understanding of why we don't and why men should!
Maybe you know this all too well, either directly or indirectly. Nevertheless, the desire to self love in men is present, but the level of importance isn't always ranked high. How can we be great if we don't understand our greatness? With no self love, no true greatness can be attained. I have tried...and until I experienced it myself...I didn't understand.
The feeling of growth is most rewarding after the process has been complete, but what if the gratification is found before then? Would you go through the process to be the best you possible? Better yet, what would it be worth to be who you were designed to be? It will cost you greatly, but the cost is minimal in comparison to what will be gained. You won't be the same person if you don't want to be, but you will have to give the old you to get the new you.
"The silent strong type" was once a favorable partner for the damsel in distress. That type of man isn't as relevant as the fairy tale made it seem. The "Strong Silent" man has a heart that's full of unknown issues that isn't shared for fear of a myriad of reasons. The heart of the silence stems from pain but can graduate to Wisdom through the growing process. However, the silence can be seen as strength when really it's a cry for help. Listen to the silence, because there's so much being said...
The ability to deal with life's issues are learned behaviors as well as self taught. I give you a birds eye view of how addiction can not only cause us to not face our issues, but to also not be aware of them. The price of numbness seems so great when we see our pain as more powerful. But what about the addictions that have us so bound that we not only like them, but we're oblivious of the effects that they have on our lives. Am I the only addict that I know of or are there others who think they can stop whenever they want...just like me?
The ability of surrendering is found in realizing that where you are in life is beyond your control. The act of surrendering isn't about succumbing to the pitfalls of life, but the freedom in giving the idea that you have control to the Higher power, who ultimately has the control you believed to be in your hands.
The power and importance of a circle for men is detrimental for his future as well as his present.
The real reason why may be unspoken but it still needs to be understood.
A new generation of belief systems can threaten the circle and ultimately keep you from progressing past your current situation when there's no place for a men to remove his armor.
