In this episode, we're studying Psalm 143 together and learning from David's response during one of the most difficult seasons of his life. Rather than remaining focused on his suffering, David intentionally remembered God's faithfulness, meditated on His works, sought the Lord, and built his prayers upon God's unchanging character.
We'll unpack what Psalm 143 teaches about trusting God when your spirit grows faint and discover practical, biblical encouragement during uncertainty, discouragement, and waiting.
If you've been longing to deepen your prayer life and strengthen your confidence in God's faithfulness, this study is for you.
Scripture: Psalm 143:1–12

In this episode, we dive into 1 Peter 2:2 and explore what it truly means to “crave pure spiritual milk.” Scripture often uses “milk” to describe spiritual immaturity—so why does Peter encourage believers to desire it?
Together, we look at the historical context of 1 Peter, the difference between spiritual infancy and spiritual nourishment, and why spiritual nourishment is essential for growing into the fullness of salvation. From rebuke to a call to maturity, this episode unpacks how craving God’s Word transforms us, strengthens us, and draws us into deeper intimacy with Jesus.

In this episode, we lean into the powerful words of Jesus: “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on, sin no more.” Many believers still wrestle with the tension between God’s grace and their ongoing struggle with sin. Are we truly crucifying the flesh daily, or are we unknowingly clinging to patterns and behaviors God has already called us out of?
Together, we’ll talk about what it really means to pursue holiness in a world that is constantly pulling us back toward old habits. My prayer is that the Lord would speak directly to your heart as you listen, bringing conviction where needed and encouragement where you feel weak.
If you’ve been struggling, feeling stuck, or wondering why sin seems to have such a strong grip, this episode is for you.

In this episode, I share a story of an unexpected moment from my trip to Virginia Beach—one that revealed both God’s pursuit of us and the importance of having a willing heart. After confronting the hidden anger I carried toward God (as shared in the last episode), the Lord led me into a powerful encounter with a homeless man.
This episode explores what it truly means to pray, “Lord, use me,” and then actually be ready when opportunities appear. From Scripture in Luke 15 and Genesis 3, to a vulnerable conversation over pancakes, you’ll hear how God pursues the lost, how He uses ordinary people to carry His heart, and how He can use your pain to reach someone else’s.
If you’ve ever wrestled with fear, hesitation, or the desire to be used by Him, this story will challenge, encourage, and inspire you to walk boldly in obedience.

This episode is an invitation to hunger for the presence of God, to get low before Him, and to seek His glory not from a place of demand, but from surrender.
In this episode, we dive deep into Exodus 33 and explore Moses’ powerful statement: “Show me your glory.” What does it truly mean to desire the presence of God? Through a careful breakdown of Exodus 33:12–23, we examine Moses’ heart posture, humility, and dependence on God’s presence rather than his own strength.
This teaching reflects on how God reveals His glory to the humble, why His presence distinguishes His people, and how encounters with God sustain us through weakness, calling, and obedience. We also connect Moses’ posture to 1 Peter 5:5–6, reminding us that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
If you are longing for a deeper encounter with God, desiring His presence, or walking through a season where you know you cannot move forward without Him—this episode is for you.

Why do we suffer? Is it because of something we’ve done — or something our parents did? In this episode, we explore this question from Scripture: “Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”(John 9:2–3).
Through this passage and many others, we’ll uncover how Jesus shifts the focus from blame to purpose — showing that being born with a physical disability or sickness isn't punishment, but a way for God’s glory to be displayed.
Join me as we look at what this means for our lives, our pain, and our faith.

Did you know that as believers in Jesus the Messiah we don't pass judgment, but rather the wrath of God? Do you know how believers are judged? In this podcast episode, we do things a little differently! In the Bible, we see that the Lord talks to people through their dreams and dreams can be very powerful. When I was younger and going through difficult seasons in life, I would have dreams where God would be there to comfort me or just talk with me about my problems and fears. Every time I woke up from those dreams, I would feel renewed and trusted that God was truly coming to me through my dreams to help me personally.
As I got older these dreams stopped and I learned to hear God’s voice in different ways. For this podcast episode, I asked God if there was anything He wanted me to talk about… and then I had a dream, and this is what we will be discussing in this podcast episode.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
Matthew 7:13-14
Welcome my sweet friend Haley Gram to the podcast! In this episode, Haley and I read 2 Corinthians 4:16 and discuss hoping through hard times, the goodness of God, and resting in the promises of God and not our emotions.
We talk about the goodness of God and how God's goodness is not based on what He does for us. God doesn't owe us anything. In fact, we owe Him everything. We know God is good despite our circumstances or feelings because that is what His word says and that's why can have hope in hard times because we know His character and His heart!
Be sure to listen to this podcast episode! You can listen to it while driving home from work or school or maybe ask Alexa to play it for you while you clean your house. Either way I hope this conversation with Haley Gram blesses you the way it did me!
Do you shove down your emotions? Are you filled with questions, but aren't willing to speak them out to God? This has been a struggle of mine. Sometimes it's hard to be truly authentic with God when we can't even be authentic with ourselves. Even though God already knows our thoughts and heart, we dive into what just might happen if we speak those thoughts and feelings out to God, instead of shoving them down.
What did Jesus mean when He said, "my yoke is easy and my burden is light." In this podcast episode, we dive into Matthew 11:28-30 and look at what the word yoke means and how we can find peace and hope in the midst of our struggles. We ask the question, "if my burden was meant to be easy, why does it feel so hard?" We can find the answer to that question in scripture! Come and join me as we dive into scripture together.
In this episode we go over Galatians 5 and talk about indulging in the flesh, the fruits of the Spirit, and how to be walking in tune with the Holy Spirit!
Matthew 5:8 says “blessed are the pure in heart for they will see the Lord.” We will dive into scripture to discover what a pure heart truly means and how it’s all about going through a refining process.
