Transcript: “Welcome back. My name is Fabio Boulle and welcome back once again to the offshore marketer show, it’s been quite a while, to say the least, obviously, if you have followed the show last episode and I kind of close out the season one was that I actually had to do an emergency treatment in Houston, which was, we actually traveled and spent about five months or something.

And so I’d say 2031, it’s been quite a year for me, given that I had to spend quite a while in, in US, which I actually enjoy. But, you know, I was still apart from my family my newborn baby at the time. Now he is about seven months old, almost eight months. But I can finally say I’m back in good health.

Still recovering, you know, I still have to get through my emotions of getting my strength back, getting fit again, and going through a cancerous disease, it’s always quite something unique in your life and something that I don’t wish anyone goes through. And I am lucky that you know, I’m here, I’m alive.

But nevertheless, we are going ahead with a show. And today it’s all about what we actually going to plan, or going to do so stick around in the next 10 minutes so that I can show you, what am I going to do for the next couple of months, maybe a year. But first of all, don’t forget to subscribe to our podcast, whether you are on iTunes, Spotify Amazon Google, don’t forget to subscribe to the show. So first of all, I want to say thank you to Dr. Lee and his team at MD Anderson in Houston, who treated me.

It was because of Dr. Lee’s advice to treat this Hodgkin’s disease that I actually made it. I was able to go through this treatment, there was actually a clinical trial and the good news is that everyone actually was in remission. I’m not sure if I should be telling this, but Hey, it’s good news.

I think it’s really good news. Right. Also, my parents that, you know, really supported me on sending me out to Houston, as well as my dad’s specifically cause he actually went in with me and he spent all the treatment there. So I wasn’t really alone.

So it was very, very good to have him around a while during these treatments because you don’t, you just feel very moody, very bad, you know, and those who have been through cancer and chemo, it’s really something that I wish no one could ever go through. Lastly, my wife, and also those who carried me in prayer.

I believe in prayer. I believe in prayer really helps and really makes unique changes in your life. And so my wife and those who were with her really prayed for my healing. And so my wife was just as strong as she could ever be taking care of our children.

Maintaining her emotional health so that she could see me back here in Mauritius. And so. It was kind of interesting when I come back to Mauritius, I got these cowboy hats in the stockyards in Fort worth which is about, 20, I think, 30 miles from Dallas.

And it was pretty cool to actually see these Cowboys and them riding bulls and horses and wild bulls. And so when I arrived in brushes, it’s kind of was interesting to see all the Mauritians looking at this guy wearing a cowboy hat thinking where&r

Around the 10th of May of 2021, Doctors in Mauritius found a small lump on my neck which then I was diagnosed with an illness called Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Disease. Basically, it is a blood cancer.

Although it sounds worse than it is, this type of disease was found quite a while ago (30 years ago or so) and 90% of patients recover & stay in remission after 5 years. Also, it only affects around 9000 people in the US per year.

Everything happened so fast that after 2 weeks of being diagnosed, I left the tiny island of Mauritius to come to get treated in Houston, Texas.

I had to leave my wife (Francesca) and my 2 children (Johanna, three years old, and Jean, 3 months old).

Welcome back, everyone. This is Fabio, hope you’re doing well. it’s been a tough week, i must say… We are in confinement/lockdown. It seems that today the 13th of March we have about 150 cases of coronavirus. And so everyone is pretty much at home working most of us. I guess I am. And that’s where we are.

This is where I guess the new normal is back. We have not had this virus in the island process since I believe was March last year, so it’s been a year.
Or at least, maybe, more than a year. And so, we kind of like, within Mauritius, felt a bit grateful for not having, and not going through these lockdowns and so forth.
And you know it,
* man. It * when you have to confine. And I now totally understand.

*I mean, I remember from last year, but you know I totally understand those families that are stuck in a new apartment and it’s not my case, but man, if it was I really appreciate you and feel your pain.. and I’ve got a big garden in a sense that it’s all open and, so forth, even though it’s a more humble house.

We still have access to the beach on the private part of this community that we are in. But it is still difficult for me, or my wife, Francesca. Especially with our 2 ½-year-old, sometimes we get a bit crazy… de*

Listen to this episode if you need some guidance in finding your idea based of a hobby, interest, mission and so forth.
- Transcript -This is Fabio here.

Welcome back to the show and I’m pleased to have you here, today.
Today we’re going to talk about, first of all, first of all, we are one week late and I’ll explain to you why the reason is.

One of my family members. We just had a family member pass away and it was someone iconic to us. It’s been a period of mourning. And it’s just been that really.

That’s why we are one week late and that’s why there was no episode last week.

However, I went over and beyond on the content so I think this is probably going to be one of the best episodes. And I don’t say this lightly, but it’s probably going to be one of the best episodes I’ve done the show because I went deep into the actual content and so stick around.

Bby the end of this episode, I’m actually going to tell the, perhaps a surprise, a surprise, that’s going to happen very soon. And, so yeah, let’s get this over with, and so I’ll come back to you in just a few moments, but first of all, let’s ring this bell.

I’ve been liking this ringing of the bell.

All right. So today we’re going to talk about if your idea, or my idea, is worth actually my time and the reason we want to do this is to see actually, if you have a spectacular idea, like something that you think you can make it trillion dollars, or even just thousand dollars, who knows a hundred dollars, whatever… something that a can start as a hobby and it goes from hobby to actually full time. And so that’s what we’re going to do in this episodes, so to find out where should actually start, what type of products, probably, you can choose from.

And as well, we’re going have some sort of case studies that I’m going to talk to you about from big brands around the world that try to get into different countries, but actually didn’t work because probably didn’t listen to the country’s culture.

So, yeah. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Where to start, where to find that idea.

Let’s say you have an idea based on something that you think it’s hobby. And you may think is work as a hobby based on your own experience. And it could be something that you’ve done for a long time. Like a skill.

Could be something that you believe in. And, you know, once you get that idea, you have this feeling, maybe you’re one of those persons who have lots of ideas, lots of different things come to your mind, constantly, abundantly.

You think, “I can do this, I can do that”.

And you think you are going to change the world, move the mountains and build this awesome idea into an actual business, and so forth.

But on the other hand, you’re probably are one of those persons, probably like me, at least in the initial phase that I had no idea, what the heck am I going to sell?

I don’t even know if I want to start a business.

I was like, dude… Why?

You kind of feel it discouraged. You don’t e
