The Centerville Education Foundation is focused on providing grants / scholarships/ recognition to the Centerville School teachers / students.
It is the mission of the Centerville Education Foundation to generate and distribute financial resources and other resources for enrichment programs and projects aimed at enhancing and increasing educational opportunities for students, faculty, and staff in the Centerville City Schools.

Foundation's Ongoing Goals

  • Serve as a non-profit community trust which is authorized to solicit and accept grants, bequests, and contributions from individuals, organizations, businesses, and corporations.
  • Provide funds and resources for special programs and creative projects to teachers in every building and in each unit of Centerville High School.
  • Maintain an endowment fund to ensure future income for the Foundation.
  • Strengthen school-community understanding and a shared interest in education.
  • Administer the following scholarships for graduating CHS seniors: Archer's Tavern Community Spirit, Centerville Alumni, Tom Janek, Dave McDaniel, Daniel D. Powlette, Hans & Sherry Tschudin, Gary Weidner Memorial, and Patty Winchek Memorial.
  • Administer the Weller fund.
  • Hold an annual Hall of Fame banquet dinner to recognize achievement by students, meritorious service by faculty and staff, and contributions of education advocates.
  • Publish a Centerville High School Alumni directory.
  • Maintain a database of CHS graduates to help with organizing class reunions.
  • Sponsor three booths at the Americana Festival.
  • Publish and maintain a website for the Foundation at centervilleeducation.org
