Hey Caniacs! In this episode we finally have our official season preview of the Carolina Hurricanes. In this episode we wrap up the two part series of our official team review. We discuss a couple problems the canes have moving forward and how to address them. Free Agency is also talked about and see how the canes might use it. Lastly, there might be possible trade partners in this discussion on how to improve this team.
Hey Caniacs! This week is the start of a two part series of a team review. This week we discuss the expiring contracts the canes have, and if they resign or not. We also have Adam Gold back on and we get his take on the contract status of some of the Hurricanes players and talk a little about what the Canes should do heading into the Off-Season.
Hey Caniacs it's been awhile. Here is our review of the disappointing series against the Rangers. You guys will here from Sam Wallace a lot as it's just him to reviews the first six games. Within those six games he talks about what the canes need to improve on and what they are good at. Sam Driscoll finally get's on after the game 7 loss and they both discuss it while he is going home from the game.
Hey Caniacs we are back after a week off due to the 1st round of the playoffs. This week we do a recap of the very thrilling series win over the Boston Bruins. We start from the amazing game from the first win at PNC to the game 7 win to advance in the playoffs. We also talk about other playoff matchups from the Toronto/Tampa series to the Calgary/Dallas one. Lastly, we give a bit of an evaluation of this team heading into next round and discussing whether it’s Pittsburgh or New York.
What’s up Caniacs! The playoffs start Monday with the playoffs. We start off with both of us recaping the last two remaining games of the season with the thrilling win against New York and a very fun win against New Jersey. Since we did mid season grades we also did end season grades on all of the players with a playoff preview against an old team foe in the Bruins that starts Monday night.

We also talk about the discussion of the goaltending situation that the canes may have against the remainder games of the season and playoffs. The trade deadline is over which means the playoffs are just around the corner. This week has shown signs that we might be getting back the offense, and where it's coming from. We also look at the officiating from the Dallas game and a few fights that have happened between the Tampa game to the offensive explosion of the St. Louis game.

What a great week of hockey everyone. This episode we tackle all the wins from the OT win against Pittsburgh to the national tv win against Philly. We also dive into the contract extension of Kotkaniemi and speculate what might happen at trade deadline. Also if you wait til the end we have a huge surprise that we can't wait to tell you.

We also discuss the highly competitive game against Edmonton with all of it's disallowed goals and the disappointing Red Wings game that went into OT. Yes we do end with that terrible Washington game, but we also talk about one of the co-hosts dog named after one of the players in the final minutes.
As we approach the Seattle game tomorrow, we will see John Forslund for the first time in this building. For those of you who don't know, Forslund has been the voice for the Canes in over 15 years with them and is now with the newest team of the NHL, the Seattle Kraken. This is completely different from our episodes so we wanted to just take a moment and recognize what he has done to this team. Thanks Forslund.
