We don’t have to look far to see people searching for meaning and purpose. Whether it's through careers, family, hobbies, passions, relationships, or faith, we all long to live in a way that feels fully alive. Think about it: most advertising is built on the promise of “real life.” From shampoo commercials to grocery store flyers, we’re constantly being sold the idea that the right product, the perfect car, or the next big thing will finally give us that thrill of truly living. But Jesus offers us something far greater. He came to give us life, and life to the full. A life that isn't dependent on possessions or circumstances, but on a relationship with Him. Real life comes not from anything material, but from Jesus, the One who is life, has life, and who rose back to life for us. The Christian life can never be separated from Jesus. It begins and continues through trust and dependence on Him.

Faith is a journey full of growth, struggle, and transformation. This summer, our team shares personal lessons of how God has challenged and changed us. The heart behind this series is simple: what God teaches us is never meant to stay with us alone – we are called to live from the overflow of what He has poured into us. Each message is an invitation to let God’s work in us flow into our relationships and community.16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Col 3:16

This series calls us to embrace our identity as a people marked by fire: His presence defining us, prayer fuelling the mission, and consecration setting us apart for Him. Weekly we will explore what means to be God's distinct people in the world, called not just to gather, but to encounter and carry His presence, set ourselves apart, seek Him in prayer, and fulfill His mission. Just as fire in Scripture signifies God's presence, purification, and power, we are invited to become a people marked by that same fire - a Church burning bright for His glory.

Jesus came preaching the Kingdom of God, in many ways, it was His central message. His message was encountered by jewish people who were under the rule of Rome and living in the midst of oppression of earthly governments. In the context of this persecution, the people of God long for reprieve from the Romans, yearning for God to finally fulfill His promise to place a ruler on the throne of David.
Yet God doesn't answer according to human desire for a ruler that would overthrow the Romans and restore the Kingdom to Israel. Jesus comes preaching a message of servanthood and love effectively turning the concept of 'kingdom' upside down.
Matt 18:4 "Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven"

Truth bears repeating.
We have received from the Lord what we can never earn; a new identity as new creations. Yet as we live in the tension of the now and not yet, and as we are growing in our faith - the Holy Spirit is doing a work to establish us in our new identity.
Soul Care is about learning to live free from lies, sin, unhealthy patterns, and at a new spiritual level - victory in our new identity. Soul Care will radically shift the generational landscape of those who follow us.

This season, we invite you to behold Christ! As we know, this season can be full of busyness, events, social connections, traditions, and celebrations. As well, this time of year can amplify loss, grief, and the pain of broken, strained, or estranged relationships. Amidst this, we can often miss Christ and His presence. This is also a time to serve our community, to join arms and be the hands and feet of Jesus. The challenge for us is to look for the opportunities to behold Christ this Christmas.

In scripture there are thousands of names of people, families, and relationships. Jesus himself has family, friends, his three beloved, twelve disciples, and thousands of followers. All through scripture, we see key relationships that help people live into their purpose and calling.
