It's hard to believe that India, now the most populated country in the world, is home to 1.43 billion people! I found myself wanting to learn what the country is like in our modern era after gaining so much insight into the life of Amy Carmichael, who was a missionary to India during the late 1800's to the mid 1900's (Episode 27).
I invited Dr. Kevin and Lisa Dinwiddie to tell us all about their Indian experiences while they participated in a combined total of 17 mission trips. Because of their medical experience and their love for the Lord, they were used by God to help the wounded in body and soul. I pray that our discussion spurs you on to simply obey the Lord. He loves to multiply our "loaves and fishes."

I've referenced our story in multiple episodes, but I've never told it. It felt like the right time to share, but I couldn't do so without my husband, Jason. So, I invited him back on to do just that. As you listen, I pray that you are pointed to the One who inspired us to press on through the trials we endured during 2020-2023.

Elisabeth Elliot, a linguist, an American missionary to Ecuadorian Indians, a world-renowned author, and an engaging speaker lived a life of obedience to Christ from a young age to her death. She endured much loss in her lifetime, just like you and me. She was not super human. She just followed a super God.

How do you summarize something that has impacted you eternally? It's quite the challenge, but my husband and I attempted to do so in this episode as we reflect on God's goodness and guidance through the first season of "Cloud of Witnesses."
In Jason's final message to the teens at Snow Blowout, he described three truths that seem too good to be true for a believer. The first truth is that God only gives what is best to His children. Not only that, but He also forgives them. And best of all, He will never stop loving them. If this doesn't spur you on to endurance, I don't know what will!
Are you on the brink of hopelessness? Do these words define you: guilty, ashamed, exhausted, defeated, and condemned? They don't have to, because Christ died on the cross to break down all of those strongholds. Once you cry out to Him in faith and repentance, you will be defined by your union with Him. Trust Him today. If you already know Him as your Lord and Saviour, rest in the eternal hope He gives to His beloved children. "It will be worth it all when you see [Him]."
Join me as we listen to Jason's fourth message, my personal favorite. I urge you to share this Gospel-saturated episode with someone it will bless!
Who are you? How do you identify yourself? According to the Word of God, you don't have to. There is such rest in knowing that God is the One who identifies you, but He doesn't do it how you may expect. Join me as we listen to the third message my husband preached at Red Cliff Bible Camp. You will be blessed to learn that Eternal God wants to be united with you. This union is mysterious, legal, loving, and life-giving. Praise His name!
We can trace the roots of skepticism all the way back to the Garden where the serpent tempted Eve to doubt what God said. What tools does a believer have to fight skepticism? Being in awe of God, having a heart of gratitude towards God, and worshiping the One true God whose Words have power, authority, and wisdom. Join me as we dive into the second message my husband preached at the winter teen retreat in Wyoming.
My husband Jason was the guest speaker at a Christian camp last weekend. I've decided to share his messages with you because they pointed to Christ in such a foundational and encouraging way that I knew you would be blessed to hear them. His first message reminded us that Christ has all authority and deserves to be listened to.
What are lights for? Dispelling darkness. What does the Great Commission require? Sharing the light of Christ to those who live in darkness. Hudson Taylor's life was completely driven by the Great Commission. His compassion for the Chinese yielded fruit that is still evidenced today.
I am sure you have heard many sermons about an ancient couple named Abraham & Sarah, but have you ever listened to their story from start to finish? Join me today as we do just that.

George Muller was a man of staggering faith! His one desire was that people stand in awe of what God could do. He expected great things from God because he had learned from personal experience that God is great! Learn how his acts of faith brought joy to the world.
The holidays can be wonderful, but because of the loss of a loved one, they can also be very painful. My dear widow friend Michelle Leavell is here to tell you that God is good in times of joy and in times of suffering. May the hope shared in this episode encourage you to see the One Who came to earth to bring tidings of great joy!
**Show note: During this interview I mentioned that the worst thing that came from sin was death. There is no mistake that death is devastating, but there is one thing sin caused which is infinitely worse: eternal separation from God. This is why Jesus died on that old rugged cross. If you haven't come to know Him yet as your Lord and Savior, trust Him today!
