This podcast mission is to explore topics related to democracy and systems of authority as well as the technologies that support them. We cast a wide net to bring in information from a variety of sources with the intention of shedding light in every corner and illuminating a broad and deep understanding of the systems that exist, past and present. With this understanding we refine our non-profit mission which supports our vision to build trust, to encourage constructive collaboration and provide an avenue for the authenticity of and secure storage of information.
This is a rich discussion about various men's circles in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, and beyond. We learn about each of these communities, find the common thread which seems to be innate to men, and we contrast both the leadership & legal structures of these organizations.

Jay Ligda talks with Duke Cooney about democracy and the two-party system. Duke is studying law and an environmental lobbyist. He is on year 3 of a 4-year Juris Degree program. He's working on a certificate in trial and appellate advocacy and capital lawyering. He plans to pursue public office as an advocate for environmental and social issues. He has worked in the CA stat assembly and state senate and is currently working as environmental lobbyist.
