At the age of 23, Bashar migrated to the US as a teenager with dreams of making it "big" and following in the footsteps of his father, who was a successful entrepreneur in Iraq. His mother wanted him to become a doctor, but he instead managed and operated a successful venture with his family. He then took the college fund his father had for him and invested it in a restaurant business. After working 120 hours a week for 3 years, making $0, investing another 200k, the restaurant was lost to a fire without insurance. Bashar was sued by his landlord, kicked out of the lease, lost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and was 150k in debt.
At the age of 25, Bashar worked as a dish washer and drove for Uber to pay his past employees. He then took an interest in online business and, after months of research, landed on a concept called Amazon FBA. He borrowed 5k from his girlfriend's mom and swiped his girlfriend's card for a course to get started. In 2018, after having been successful with Amazon for a few years, Bashar was asked where he saw himself in 3-5 years. He had a business generating tens of thousands of dollars a month in profits, working 30-45 minutes a day, yet he felt empty inside.
One day, a few months later, Bashar received a text that changed his life. He realized he had something special he was obligated to share with the world and BJK University was born. Today, the university has served and impacted the lives of 6,000 students from 35+ countries ranging from the ages of 16 all the way to 70 and is on a mission to impact 1 million lives at a time.

Erik is truly a man of integrity, work ethic and an overcomer. Growing up with a complicated childhood and broken home, to raising himself from the age of 14. Unfortunately finding trouble along the way desperately trying to fill the gaping voids in his life. As a young man Erik found himself empty and tired of settling for less. After the feverish pursuit of the Holy Spirit, Erik decided to surrender and trust the one that would never let him down. Once Erik gave his life to Christ, his life completely turned around. He met a beautiful woman and a new chapter was written. Now, Erik and his wife of 16+ years and their two children live in Northern Idaho and live a humble and blessed life. Together they are breaking the cycles handed down to them of addictions, depression, abuse, and lies. They are leaving a new legacy for their next generation built on a biblical foundation. Along with being the sole provider for his family, Erik is an entrepreneur and Host of The Erik Allen Show. Another one of the ways Erik is able to give back is by sharing his story and encouraging others, no matter what path they are on to find hope and purpose. Erikโs natural approach ability and heart for people make him a great speaker for different events and podcasts.
