Patrick Halton is a Program Manager with the United Nations Children's Fund  (UNICEF) in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. He is team lead for child protection, responding to the Rohingya refugee crisis where UNICEF has had a presence since 2017. 

Patrick has a background in child protection in emergencies, especially issues of children affected by armed conflict including children associated with armed forces and groups. He has a postgraduate degree in Post War Recovery Studies from the University of York, as well as a degree in humanities from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
