Shadrach Kabango (aka Shad) is a Canadian recording artist, broadcaster, and educator. You might know Shad from his 20 years making infectious, lyrical, and socially conscious hip hop, or from hosting CBC’s Q, or from the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning Netflix series Hip Hop Evolution. He won the Juno Award for Rap Recording of the year in 2011 for his album TSOL, (famously besting Drake).
Shad uses his platform as a performer to inspire a sense of community, and to suggest that perhaps we can do better than what we as humans are doing now. His lyrics encourage us to look at the world around us, and contemplate the big things: change, fear, death, life, inevitable endings, and unknown beginnings. His most recent album—Start Anew—was released in October, 2025.

Damhnait Doyle has been a bright light on the Canadian music landscape since being discovered for her remarkable musical gift at the age of 17. Since then, she has gone on to write, perform, tour, advocate, collaborate, host, and stir up good trouble wherever she lands.
Damhnait has released (at least) nine full length recordings as both a solo artist and a member of the groups Shaye and The Heartbroken, and has a new EP on the way. She has been the opening act on tours for the likes of Willie Nelson and Steve Earle, and is a Multiple ECMA, SOCAN, and Canadian Radio Music award winner, and a multi JUNO, CMAO and CCMA award nominee.

Miranda Mulholland is a JUNO-nominated singer, songwriter, and fiddler. She's released 3 albums, one EP, and several singles in her own name, in addition to launching music with her bands Harrow Fair and Belle Starr.
As a touring and studio musician, Miranda’s credits include: Great Lake Swimmers, The Jim Cuddy Band, The Paperboys, Donovan Woods, Calexico, Joel Plaskett, Rose Cousins, Alan Doyle, Justin Rutledge, Sarah Slean, and Cowboy Junkies, to name a few. She has played or sung on over 100 records as well as working on film and Television scores for shows such as Maudie and Republic of Doyle.
In addition, Miranda owns her own record label - Roaring Girl Records, and is the Artistic Director of The Muskoka Music Festival which takes place in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
Off stage, Miranda speaks on behalf of musicians and artists, helping to create new policies and fresh perspectives in the industry. She is the Creative Culture Advisor for Music Canada, Chair of the Music Canada Advisory Council and Vice Chair Emeritus of the board of Governors for Massey Hall / Roy Thomson Hall.
In this conversation with co-hosts Jane Gowan and Joel Stewart, Miranda shares experiences and insights from her remarkable career to date, touching on everything from creating and performing music with loops and pedals, to embracing whimsy and looking for chestnuts.

Myra Melford is an American avant-garde pianist, composer, educator, and improvisor. Her music is unique, exciting, and brave, evolving from an approach to the piano that is percussive, athletic, and uber-dynamic, and compositions that are exploratory, poetic, visual, and thought-provoking.
Melford is an interdisciplinary artist of the highest order. Awarded the Alpert Award in the Arts for Music in 2012, plus the Guggenheim Fellowship and the Doris Duke Performing Artist Award in 2013, she has released over 30 albums in various configurations (solo, duo, trio, quartet, quintet), and has collaborated with some of the greatest talents in contemporary music. Her most recent release is entitled Splash (with bassist Michael Formanek and drummer/vibraphonist Ches Smith), and is inspired by the work of the post-abstract expressionist painter Cy Twombly.

What, exactly, is mastering? Is it a potion? A spell? A hoax? The truth is, it's a subtle and precise art, and a key element of quality music production. It is music's "x-factor", its "special sauce".
Despite often being perceived as some kind of magic, mastering is, in fact, very real, as are the people who do it for a living. Case in point, Grammy-nominated and Juno Award-winning mastering engineer João Carvalho. João is the founder of João Carvalho Mastering, and co-owner of Revolution Recording in Toronto, Canada. Designed by Martin Pilchner, João's mastering studio has been labelled "...the most acoustically perfect mastering room in Canada".
Since the early 2000s, João has built a massive client list, working with much-loved artists such as Sloan, Rose Cousins, Skydiggers, City and Colour, Tanya Tagaq, Donovan Woods, Hayden, Monique Barry, Blue Rodeo, Metric, Serena Ryder, The Tragically Hip, Damhnait Doyle, and Rush...the list goes on and on...
In this episode, João explains his craft, the building of his world class studio, working with the likes of Rose Cousins and Sloan, the utility of a great Weezer track, and why "Claire" by Rheostatics is one of the greatest songs of all time.

Multi-award-winning instrumentalist, singer, recording artist and composer, Anne Lindsay is celebrating many things this year: 60 years as a violinist, 50 years as a professional musician, and the launch of her brand new album, Soloworks 2.
Described as "chamber folk music for solo violin and nyckelharpa", Soloworks 2 is dedicated to St Anne’s Anglican Church in Toronto where it was recorded in November 2021, during the global pandemic. Anne's epic career has taken her all over the world. She's been a featured performer and session player for numerous artists, such as Blue Rodeo, The Jim Cuddy Band, Skydiggers, John McDermott, Led Zeppelin, Roger Daltrey, The Chieftans, and James Taylor, to name a few. She was also the resident fiddler for The Toronto Maple Leafs and The Lord of the Rings stage production. Needless to say, her career has taken her all over the world, and has nourished her appreciation for all types of music, from rock to folk, from classical to jazz to global music.

Guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer Tim Bovaconti knew he wanted to be a musician from a very young age. When he was just a mere lad, a fateful meeting with family friend Greg Keelor (Blue Rodeo) lit a spark that fuelled his musical passion. The flame continues to burn brightly today.
Bovaconti has travelled the world as a working musician. He’s performed and recorded with artists such as Burton Cummings, Ron Sexsmith, Kim Stockwood, Jerry Leger, Julian Taylor, Andy Kim, Ray Davies, and Leonard Cohen.
A seasoned sideman, Tim also fronts his own band, and has 3 albums to his name. His 4th album is called Again, and will be released at Hugh’s Room in Toronto on Sunday, Nov 17 (See below for ticket info.).

No Dress Rehearsal is a 4-part documentary about one of Canada's most-loved rock bands - The Tragically Hip. The film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Sept 5, and has been screening at Film Festivals around the country. It is now available to stream on Amazon Prime.
The Tragically Hip rose to rock stardom in the late 80s and early 90s. They toured and recorded relentlessly, and by the late 90s, they were practically a household name. To the great delight of their fans, they showed no signs of stopping. Ever. Then, in 2015, the band’s iconic lead singer—Gord Downie—was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer. He passed away in October, 2017, and a nation mourned the loss of a musical icon, cultural mentor, and cherished storyteller.
The film highlights the endurance of the musical bond, and the mutual love and respect that developed over 30+ years that the band created, recorded, and toured together. The loss of Gord Downie dealt a massive blow, but through the empathetic lens of the film's director Mike Downie (Gord's brother), the remaining members of the band—Paul Langlois, Rob Baker, Gord Sinclair, and Johnny Fay—have found a way to tell the story of Gord and The Hip in their own words. The documentary features rare archival footage, plus candid interviews with band members, family, friends, and colleagues. It is a heartfelt and honest portrayal of life, loss, and love. Above all, it’s about the power of music, and the ways in which Gord Downie was able to captivate, motivate, and inspire.
In this interview, host Jane Gowan speaks with Director Mike Downie and drummer Johnny Fay about the film, the band, and their beloved departed brother and bandmate, Gord.

Part 2 - ARIANA DALIE & CRAIG SMITH: Four Winds Festival Ariana and Craig are "The Happiness Mafia", a live music event and production company, that—in addition to presenting concerts throughout the year—is responsible for creating the Four Winds Music Festival. Four Winds takes place July 12-14 at the Riverstone Retreat in Durham, Ontario. This is the festival’s second year, and the lineup is a lovingly-curated offering of roots-rock, folk, singer-songwriter, world music and bluegrass.
In this episode Ariana and Craig talk about how a phone call home from Antarctica started them on their current path, and how their passion for music plus their individual strengths enable them to create a shared dream: presenting year-round concerts, plus a 3-day summer festival on 136 acres of green space in Southern Ontario.

Part 1 - SPENCER SHEWEN: Mariposa Folk Music Festival & Riverfest Elora
Spencer is the Artistic Director of both the Mariposa Folk Festival and Riverfest Elora.
Throughout his many years working with music festivals, he's learned that producing a successful music festival is a juggling act, a game of strategy, and an endurance test. Internationally-acclaimed and award-winning singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith first sang and strummed his way into the hearts of music lovers in the early-mid 1990s. At that time, the distorted fuzz and raw angst of grunge bands dominated the airwaves, and most "folk" singers watched from the sidelines, clutching their acoustic guitars and cursing their lack of effects pedals - but not Ron. Amidst the dense and glorious swirl of guitar rock, Sexsmith offered up his self-titled debut album of simple, heartfelt songs. The melodically refined and gracefully sculpted nature of his music gradually won him fans around the world, including rock n roll dignitaries such as Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, and Paul McCartney. 30-ish years and 17 albums later, Ron Sexsmith has become one of the most revered songwriters in the world, while continuing to create music that is essential, fresh, and timeless.
In this conversation, Ron guides host Jane Gowan and co-host Tim Vesely through the storied travels and charmed encounters of his illustrious career to date.

Stephen Stanley is not just a gifted musician and singer/songwriter, but also a wonderful storyteller. His song introductions are almost legendary, and for anyone who witnessed his facebook live shows during the height of the pandemic, you'll know how skilled he is at not just playing and singing, but also communicating with an audience, even when the audience is invisible.
Stephen honed his craft through the 90s and early 00s as co-founder of the much-loved alt-rock band Lowest of the Low, and continues now to perform and record with his own group, The Stephen Stanley Band.
Stephen's new album—Before the Collapse of the Hive—is a musically rich and dynamic album from which springs a myriad of stories, memories, and perspectives. Partly truth and partly interpretation, each song is delivered with humanity, heart, and vibrancy. Produced by Hugh Christopher Brown (Wolfe Island Records), the album is dedicated to Stephen's dear friend Dave Bookman, a much-loved Toronto-based radio personality, who passed away in 2019.

Starting in the mid nineties, Eduardo Ottoni and James Ong were the drummer and keyboardist in the band Spygirl, a group that was founded by singer Koralee Tonack and (Music Buddy host) Jane Gowan. The group embodied the spirit of collaboration, and the members developed a deep bond that created a safety net of creative and personal freedoms.
Over time, Eduardo and James’ focus turned from being bandmates to being business partners. Working together mostly in the context of festival production, they became trusted and much-loved members of the arts and cultural community in Vancouver, BC. Their understanding of each others' work styles, and their ability to play to each others’ strengths grew over time, and in 2020, they co-founded Event Lab, a live event production company with a focus on sustainability, community, inclusivity and economic viability. Their client list includes The Vancouver Jazz Festival, The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Pride, The City of Burnaby Deer Lake Concerts, the Vancouver Chamber Choir, The Elektra Women’s Choir, Push Performing Arts, Cellar Jazz, the West Vancouver Community Arts council, and the Coalition for Music Education in BC, to name just a few.
Eduardo and James have gracefully turned a creative and joyous musical relationship into a thriving and lucrative business partnership. Their story is one of friendship, shared values, trust, and hard work.

Blair Deptuck is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. His band New Driver is a group of all-star musicians based in Nanaimo, BC.
Blair's passion for music and commitment to his craft is admirable, and he has managed to balance music-making with raising a family and running his own contracting company. Despite a full and busy life that pulls him in all directions, Blair's desire to rock out is ever-present, and is a constant guiding force.
As we all know, life has a way of throwing curveballs at you, and Blair experienced that first hand. In 2016, his world was turned upside down by a brain aneurysm that resulted in an intense surgical process and a long recovery. Some might be wary of returning to their regular schedule after such an ordeal, but Blair's sense of responsibility to his family and his intense desire to play music found him returning to the job site, the stage, and the recording studio.
Despite the traumatic and life-changing event that Blair experienced, his desire to make music has never waned, and his sense of humour and appreciation of those around him remain firmly in tact.

Musician/entrepreneur Dave Ullrich is someone whose independent spirit and DIY talents have forged him a fruitful and fascinating career in and around music and the arts.
Dave started the much-loved indie rock duo The Inbreds with his high school friend Mike O'Neill (Trailer Park Boys, Tuns). Much revered for their originality and minimalist approach, the Inbreds became Canadian indie rock favourites in the 90s.
The band's popularity grew even more, after being asked to join the Tragically Hip's legendary Another Roadside Attraction tour in 1995. Later, they were also invited by Dave Grohl to open for the Foo Fighters on tour - an invitation that they famously turned down. Their 1994 album Kombinator was nominated for a Juno Award (Best Alternative Album), and a Much Music Video Award (for the song "Any Sense of Time").
After the Inbreds' breakup, Ullrich went on to start the online music store and label Zunior, and produce two indie music festivals in Prince Edward County: Sandbanks Music Festival and County Pop. From his time in The County sprung another enterprise - his craft lemonade business, called Lemonade Dave. And as if that's not enough, he’s now joined the ranks of the podcaster realm. Check out his wonderful podcast Salad Days for some great and insightful conversations with Canadian musicians.
Dave possesses a true gift for storytelling, and in this 2-parter conversation, you'll hear his enlightened perspectives on music, life and—of course—lemonade.

Why are there so many pianos being given away, or—much worse—sent to the dump?
One day, while searching for vintage finds online, journalist, podcaster, and multi-media artist Kelly Crowe discovered that there are hundreds of unwanted pianos out there, many of which will end up a pile of rubble at the bottom of a landfill. Kelly's discoveries about the complex fate of the unwanted piano is now the subject of the first episode in her new audio documentary, entitled The Possession Project.
Kelly is fascinated by all manner of things: science, health, music, technology, visual art, politics, and—most importantly—STUFF! Her natural curiosity and journalistic skill has led her down some fascinating paths. In this conversation, she talks about The Possession Project, and how her love of stuff started her on a journey exploring the many worlds of treasured personal possessions.

Rich Aucoin is a Halifax-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and actor. His live shows are legendary as being multi-media dance and sing-along extravaganzas, and he's well-loved for his ability to connect with his audience in ways that create a feeling of community and also mutual trust and respect.
Rich's most recent project is an ambitious undertaking of massive scope: a quadruple album entitled Synthetic: A Synth Odyssey. It is being released over 2 years. Synthetic Season 1 (2022) was recently awarded "Electronic Recording of the Year" at the East Coast Music Awards (ECMAs). The album employs 37 synths (all played by Rich), many of them legendary vintage instruments made famous by people such as Brian de Palma and Stevie Wonder.

Don Kerr is a drummer, singer, songwriter, cellist, composer, and producer. He's also a pacifist/activist, who believes strongly in the power of positivity and the value of community. A much-sought-after sideman and bandmate since the 1990s, he has performed with Rheostatics, Ron Sexsmith, Bahamas, Dan Mangan, The Weather Station, and many others.
Don's own band—Communism—is a super-charged power trio, renowned for their "dance-your-face-off" live shows, for which Don performs using a DIY stand-up drum kit, fashioned to create a more dynamic presentation. The result (in combination with video, lights, and lasers) is a visually arresting, sonically exhilarating, and uplifting experience..
Despite our differences as humans, Don Kerr believes that we're all good at heart, and capable of love, change, and...dancing up a storm. Don looks for the up sides, and talks about how the pandemic allowed his band—at home with no tours planned—the time to create a sonically rich, layered, and exploratory album. The result is Love Speech : 10 tracks dedicated to "...dancing with love in your heart." Don also shares his thoughts on being a "pacifist at war", balancing family and work, composing the soundtrack for The Colour of Ink documentary, and what "communism" means to him.
Later in the episode, musician, engineer and Music Buddy Sessions producer Tim Vesely joins the conversation. Don and Tim compare notes about drums and bass, and the early days playing with Ron Sexsmith and Rheostatics.

Seth Akira Feldman is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter, who works tirelessly on many aspects of his craft. His primary musical project is called To The Fields. He released the album Distance in 2021, which he recorded entirely on his own in his home studio, working around his day job work hours. Seth also creates and records with his father, Steve Alan Feldman. Together, the father-son team have released 2 full studio albums, working alongside long-time collaborator Vezi Tayyeb at Kensington Sound in Toronto.
In this episode, Seth and Jane sit down for a good ol' kitchen table chat at Music Buddy "HQ", i.e. Jane's house. Singer Songwriter Jerry Leger is the real deal. His combination of authentic humility and spirited self confidence is a rare thing to witness. Ansley Simpson is a Toronto-based Michi Saagiig Nishnaabe singer, songwriter, and composer. Her enchanting and powerful sophomore album She Fell From the Sky embraces the origin story of Gizhiigokwe (Sky Woman), who embarks upon an emotional and brave journey on earth in an attempt to repair and restore humanity and the planet. Monique Barry is a classically-trained singer, songwriter, composer, and music educator. Her music is unique, ethereal, dreamlike, and emotional, and ranges from techno pop to ambient folk. Tim Vesely is a bassist, guitarist, songwriter, composer, and sound engineer. Best-known as a co-founder of the Canadian art-rock band Rheostatics, Tim also performs with his own band The Violet Archers. When not performing and writing songs, Tim is the house engineer at Blue Rodeo's Woodshed Studio, which he refers to as his "dream job". In that role, he has engineered and mixed albums with artists such as Blue Rodeo, Jim Cuddy Band, Serena Ryder, The Sadies and Gord Downie, Bobby Dove, Kathleen Edwards, Whitehorse, and The Strumbellas.
Tim and Jane pick up from their previous conversation (EP 15: Tim Vesely - The Songwriter). In this session, they turn to the art of recording: techniques methods, and tricks; creating a good studio vibe, and capturing the magic of the sound. In between, Tim talks about some of his favourite songs of all time, why he loves them, and how they influenced him.

Laurie Brown is a much-admired Canadian music journalist, writer, TV & radio host, and podcaster. Julian Taylor is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter with a truly independent success story. He has been honing his special blend of timeless roots rock since the 1990s, steadily growing followers while weaving his way into the fabric of Canada's indie music culture and sound. His 2020 album The Ridge earned him 2 Juno Award nominations (Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year and Contemporary Roots Album of the Year), a Canadian Folk Music Award, five Native American Music Award nominations, and a Polaris Music Prize nomination.
In this interview, Julian talks about embracing uncomfortable subjects on his compelling new album Beyond the Reservoir, and why that made him nervous. He shares gritty stories from his adolescence and sweet memories of cherished elders, while emphasizing the importance of family, nature, and speaking truth about history. Julian also tells Jane about working with producer and friend Saam Hashemi, his friendship with the late Jay Bennett (previously of Wilco), and his eclectic collection of 45s.

Simon Paradis is an accomplished roots/rock musician, having played in bands across Canada for over 30 years. One morning in 2008, while working his construction job on the Sunshine Coast in B.C., Simon fell off a scaffold and landed on the pavement below, resulting in massive brain and spinal cord trauma. He and his band The Precious Littles were set to release a new album that weekend at the Vancouver Island Music Festival, one that would hopefully gain them some notoriety and enable Simon to spend less time on the job site, and more time focused on his music. Things were going to change... They did, but not the way Simon expected.
In her 2015 book Fallen: A Trauma, A Marriage, and the Transformative Power of Music, Simon’s wife Kara recounts the days and weeks that followed the accident, as the couple—along with their family and friends—navigated an emotional, turbulent, and uncertain landscape. As the situation went from what seemed like almost hopeless to what some would call miraculous, music played a key role. It was always there, providing solace, joy, and ultimately a tool for Simon’s brain to re-map itself.
Despite extensive damage throughout his body and daunting medical obstacles (the accident resulted in—among other things—paralysis from the waist down, a stroke on his left side, and loss of hearing on his right), Simon managed to make a stunning recovery. His passion, optimism, sense of humour, tenacity and hard-core work ethic resulted in his re-learning the guitar, while simultaneously figuring out how to navigate his new life as a musician with a disability.
In this episode, Simon and Kara talk openly about their life, their work, and the challenges and victories along the way. You'll also be treated to the Music Buddy Band version of Simon and Kara’s song “Night is Here”.

In her remarkable debut book Wired for Music: A Search for Health and Joy Through the Science of Sound, author Adriana Barton guides us through her own personal musical journey, and the many ways in which the brain and music work in harmony.
Adriana left her life as a classical cellist in her late 20s, after a gruelling 17-years of intense musical discipline. In this episode, Adriana talks about how she made her way back to music via discoveries about the science of music, and learning how it can help with mood, anxiety, overall well-being, and even healthy aging. You'll also hear Adriana perform "Tadzungaira", a traditional song of the Mbira, from Zimbabwe.

Alan Matheson is a much-admired jazz composer, trumpeter, pianist, and educator. He is an expert in Jazz History, and leads his own big band, nonet, septet and trio. Alan has performed with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Louis Bellson, and Phil Woods, and has taught at several music programs in the Vancouver area, including Vancouver Community College, and UBC.
In this episode, Alan talks about studying with the world-renowned trumpeter and educator Vincent Chicowicz (Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Northwestern University), how a solo by Bix Beiderbecke made him love jazz, and how Tchaikovsky's music sparked his desire to compose. He also recalls his friendship with the great trumpeter Clark Terry (Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson), and explains how a visit to Helsinki created a long-standing musical partnership with the Finnish bassist, Wade Mikkola.
Throughout the episode you'll witness Alan's deep understanding of the language of improvised music, and be treated to his encyclopedic knowledge of jazz from the last century and onward.

Tim Vesely is a bassist, guitarist, songwriter, composer, and sound engineer. Best-known as a co-founder (with Dave Bidini) of the much-revered Canadian art-rock band Rheostatics, Tim has also recorded 2 albums and an EP with his own band The Violet Archers. Tim is the House Engineer at Blue Rodeo's Woodshed Studio in Toronto's Riverdale neighbourhood.
Tim and Jane have worked together since 2008, mostly in the context of Jane's band The Real Shade. Their recent work together finds Tim as the Music Director of the Music Buddy Band Sessions, where musician guests record new versions of original songs. In this interview, they discuss the art and craft of songwriting, but in a non-songwriterly kind of way. Plus you'll hear their Music Buddy Band version of Tim's song "The End of Part One", recorded live at the Woodshed.

Steve "Lips" Kudrow and Robb Reiner aka "The Hungo Hammer" have been bandmates and rock 'n roll co-conspirators since the 1970s. Their band Anvil had massive success in the 1980s after the release of their now-classic album, "Metal is Metal". Bands such as Anthrax, Slayer, and Metallica all credit Anvil with having influenced their sound.
Sadly, Anvil's success didn't stick, and they toiled in obscurity until 2009, when an old friend and roadie—Sacha Gervasi—approached them about making a documentary about the band. Anvil: The Story of Anvil took the world by storm with its gritty but touching story of true friendship, commitment, and artistic integrity. The rock doc re-ignited fans around the world. Since then, the band has been living their long-held dream of touring full-time, and making a living as musicians.
Now, 13 years after its initial release, the re-mastered Anvil: The Story of Anvil, is being re-released to theatres, to the delight of fans both new and old. In this interview, Jane talks to drummer Robb Reiner and director Sacha Gervasi about the buzz around the film's release, the band's imminent European tour, and what success means. Plus, Jane suggests a name for the next Anvil album.

Stephen Stanley is a veteran of the Canadian indie rock scene, a stellar singer-songwriter, a prolific storyteller, gifted guitarist, and a radio DJ,. He was a founding member of the alternative rock band Lowest of the Low, with whom he toured extensively for many years, and also released 4 albums, including 1991’s much-loved, Shakespeare My Butt . He now records and performs as The Stephen Stanley Band, and is in the midst of recording a new album.
In this episode, Stephen talks about recording his upcoming album on Wolfe Island, playing countless shows to an online crowd during the pandemic, constructing his one-hour radio show, what Bob Dylan means to him, and how songs can be interpreted many ways.
The episode also features the Music Buddy Band version (and world premiere!) of Stephen's song "Waiting on a Claim". The song was recorded and mixed by Tim Vesely at The Woodshed Studios in Toronto, and features Stephen on lead vocals/guitar, Jane Gowan on vox, accordion, Wurlitzer and trumpet, and Tim Vesely on bass, keyboards, and percussion.

Music Buddy would like to acknowledge Wayne Messmer, the National Anthem soloist with the Chicago Blackhawks at Chicago Stadium for 13 seasons in the NHL. In 1994, Wayne survived a gunshot attack that left his life and voice in peril. Messmer's spirit, courage, and conviction enabled him to sing again.

In the late 1990s, Marnie Grey developed "Music with Marnie" - a unique method of teaching music and movement to young kids. Using props, puppets, dance moves and sing-alongs, she delighted young audiences. Before long, parents were lining up around the block to register for classes, and kids were filling gyms to attend her concerts.
