In the past year, we have so many talented creators come up with great videos and entertainment on their socials to make us laugh so my aim is to dig a little deeper into who they are and what drives them to create content by putting them in the Spotlight.

The KZN Doghouse is a sanctuary in South Africa that assists with rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming.
Sandy chats to Sauri (Founder) who walks us through her journey of building the sanctuary and sharing some challenges along the way. To date, the KZN Doghouse has welcomed over 300 animals into its sanctuary with even more on the way. Karissa is an Orlando-based actor, singer, and dancer. She graduated in May of last year with her BFA in musical theatre from the University of Central Florida.
Karissa is currently singing in the opening cast of U-POP at Universal Studios Beijing. She spent last summer performing at Cedar Point in Ohio as a part of “The Beach Crew” and the “Peanut’s Block Party.” When home in Orlando, Karissa performs at Universal Studios Orlando as Penelope in the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. She can also be found performing in Universal Orlando's Mardi Gras Parade, Macy’s Holiday Parade, and Halloween Horror Nights.
Karissa has appeared in numerous plays and musicals at the University of Central Florida. Some of her favorite Theatre UCF credits include A
Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Sibella), Titanic (Kate Mullins), and She Kills Monsters (Kaliope). For her portrayal of both Sibella and Kaliope, Karissa was nominated for an Irene Ryan acting award. She was a finalist for this award at region IV’s Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
In her spare time, Karissa enjoys trips to the beach, writing music, and spending time with her Goldendoodle puppy.
Jonny Tran – Born in Oakland, California spent his whole life growing up in the Bay Area. Jonny began dancing at 9 years old and trained extensively hip-hop influenced choreography, bboying/breakdancing, and modern dance. In 2014 he joined the professional dance company, Syndicate Dance, which holds awards in multiple competitions throughout northern and southern California.
In 2020, Jonny began content creation and grew exponentially on the platforms TikTok and Instagram, holding over 350,000+ followers on TikTok and 70,000+ on Instagram. He began expanding to other platforms including Twitch, and Youtube, and he regularly creates content on these platforms. He’s worked with different companies, brands, and artists including FitBit, Doc Martens, Garnier, Gallant, Betterhelp, Soonhari, The City of San Jose, Vidcon, and 88 Rising.
