In this episode, the speakers emphasize the significance of learning how to think in a way that supports desired outcomes. They point out that many medical professionals and teachers are not equipped with the necessary tools to think critically, which can hinder their ability to achieve the desired results for their clients or students. The speakers also discuss how people are often taught what to think rather than how to think, and how extreme thinking and feeling can prevent individuals from achieving their goals. The solution, according to the speakers, is to learn how to think in a way that supports the desired results. They suggest that life coaching can provide individuals with the skills to be mentally flexible and to think about their thinking, which can lead to extraordinary results and the ability to create the feelings that drive actions. Ultimately, the speakers argue that understanding where one's power and empowerment lie and taking responsibility for one's thoughts, feelings, and actions is key to becoming self-made and achieving desired results. The guest speaker, a doctor, shares her experience of incorporating life coaching into her practice, which has been a game changer for helping patients achieve their goals. She explains that doctors are often focused on taking action and providing instructions without addressing the underlying mindset or motivation needed to follow through with those instructions. Life coaching provides the missing piece by helping patients address their mindset and motivation. However, doctors may not have the time or knowledge to provide life coaching themselves, which is where external life coaches can come in. The guest speaker also highlights that many people, including doctors, may not even be aware of what life coaching is or that it is a possibility. Overall, incorporating life coaching into medical practice can help patients achieve their goals by addressing the mindset and motivation needed to follow through with instructions. The guest speaker, Sheila Carol, introduces the model of deciding how to feel and then working backwards to identify the necessary thoughts, which can be life-changing. She explains that this is a skill that can be developed through life coaching and it allows individuals to be mentally flexible and think about their thinking. By understanding where their power and empowerment lies, individuals can take responsibility for their thoughts, feelings, and actions. This model can be applied to various aspects of life, including parenting, and can help individuals achieve the results they desire. Sheila Carol emphasizes that this model has been a freeing tool for her and has transformed her life. Overall, the episode highlights the importance of learning how to think in a way that supports the desired results and understanding the root cause of problems at the level of the mind. If you're feeling frustrated with constantly chasing after new leads without seeing any results, then you are not alone! Many young sales professionals struggle with prospecting and fail to build lasting relationships with their clients. You may be sending out countless cold emails or making endless cold calls, but still not see any progress in your sales numbers. Instead of building trust and rapport with potential clients, you may be coming off as pushy or insincere. The key to successful sales is relationship building, and it's time to shift your focus from simply closing deals to creating meaningful connections with your clients. Use your connections. Focus on thinking about clients in a way that is loving and serving to boost your confidence and affirm your abilities. So many of us overeat which then leads to SHAME! It is a constant cycle that can be sohard to stop. I have been there, and Tracy has beenthere as well.We feel all the feels,ladies... The shame and lack of control. But itwasn't until Tracy understood that herbrain was being mismanaged, which was what was ultimately creating those overeats. This is why she invests so much time and energy into people managing their brain, andawareness of how you are actually getting theresult (overeating) in the first place!Thought, makes you feel desire, and that desire gives you the urge, the urge is to goface down in the plate of cookies, and that creates an experience of overeating.Instead, what we want to learn is to not be reactive, we want to learn how to respond instead. Lesa Koski, the host of Doing Divorce Different and the Founder of Koski Law, gets coached on a difficult topic. We discuss focusing on ourselves and our image, taking away the opportunity to impact others' lives. Tracy coaches how people can become aware of their thoughts and work to change them. Tune in today to learn how to avoid spending your life chasing circumstances. In this episode: [4:20] Tracy coaches Lesa on focusing on how to leave people feeling a certain way. [8:26] What does it mean to have a self-made mind? [13:28] How do we neutralize and normalize our thoughts? [18:14] How can people push themselves through their difficult thoughts? [22:35] Do you want to spend your life chasing a circumstance? Key Takeaways: If you are so focused on yourself and your looks/image, you lose the opportunity to leave your true mark on others. Creating awareness is the first step to making changes. Without awareness, you can’t change; you must first become a master of your mind. Check-in daily and decide how you’ll optimize your day. You can’t control circumstances for the most part, but you can manage your thoughts. Quotes: “I want to be a person who focuses on how I touch people, how I make them feel warm and loved, and I don’t want to focus on my shortcomings.” - Lesa Koski “You have to take care of yourself and be your best self to be a good parent.” - Lesa Koski “When you can share the vulnerable imperfect side of yourself with your loved ones, holy cow, that changes everything. You're modeling so many things on so many levels when you can do that. And they learn so much from just witnessing that.” - Tracy Pleschourt

Have you ever gotten caught up in analysis paralysis to the point it causes you to freeze, experience indecision, or produce anxiety? You’re in good company! Coach Tracy Pleschourt helps Dez consider what might help her when she starts to spin in analysis paralysis or scatterbrained thoughts. Dez realizes that being in the present moment is a grounding source of halting the brain chaos. Sometimes the best thing to do when our brains go wild is to pause, ask ourselves how our thoughts are serving us and making us feel, and then working backwards. Reflect on what result you are looking to achieve and then consider what thoughts you must adopt to get you there. Remember your thoughts produce your feelings and your feelings lead to your actions, which shape your results. If you want to change your results, it starts with your mind. You will get gold from this short, yet powerful session!
Here's what our students learned on 10/26/22: ✅ Why you have a need to control ✅ When you are unable to control your kids actions, there is one VERY important question to ask yourself ✅ How a Self-Made Mind creates a Self-Made Body

Dez recognizes that when she is focused on a distant outcome, impatience emerges, but when she has faith and appreciation for each step toward the bigger goal, she can embrace patience.
