Hard work doesn’t guarantee success
There is a difference between an effort mindset and an outcome mindset
Effort mindset focuses on the work done
Outcome mindset focuses on the objective reached
Separate they both have flaws
What if you combine the two?
2WD Goal Setting give you the benefit of both

Preview excerpts from Chapter 1
Bella
A determined robin, Bella takes pride in her discipline and persistence. Outwardly with bravado she brushes off her friend’s comments that she’s stubborn, because that’s what it takes to succeed. However, each night her mind races, thinking back over the many challenges she faced and overcame living in Thistlebrook Meadow. Before drifting off to visit the Sandman, the same thought runs through her mind. ‘Setting her mind on something and sticking to it, is persistence and persistence is a good thing.’ Bella takes in her neat and organised little hollow inside the Grand Oak and with a soft smile her eyes close knowing, her way is the right way.
Milo and Lana
Bursting into the room, Milo’s shoulders temporarily sank seeing Lana waiting. It was momentary, then his frenetic energy and dreams of legends took hold. “Hurry up Lana. The day awaits for no mouse!” His buzzing energy was infectious, often overpowering the radiation of her calm wisdom. Today was different. There was a nagging dread deep inside her. Lana couldn’t shake it. “Come on Lana! Snap out of it!” Milo was used to Lana’s caution and it bored him. “Let’s go!”, he insisted. Lana chuckled at herself. They knew the barn backward. Caution is one thing, paranoia is another. “Race you!”, Lana exclaimed and darted past Milo to the door. After all, there was food to find.
Steven and the Fruit Company
Giving up, Steven sighed and looked across the room. The latest ‘Gift from Bill’ sat prominently on the coffee table. Apparently someone thought it funny to set up the ugly industrial looking box with an even uglier looking screen box on top, in his office. Steven whispered, “Oh, you know, there are 114,000 known viruses for that thing. Time to think different for the cure.”
In a flash the music player was launched across the room in a graceful arch. It smashed into the screen, first imploding and then sending shards of glass sprawling across the coffee table. As the last of the glass came to rest, a small wisp of smoke exited the top of the broken screen, circled gracefully and then dissipated leaving an ozone/phosphors aroma in the air. It was a picture perfect moment. “If only my phone had a camera to immortalise the moment” Steven thought.
Apple’s iCheese Symphony
Often the first movers are mistaken as the trailblazers in the grand annals of innovation. This misconception is far from the truth that most figures lauded as pioneers were not the first. Their difference was they made the innovation work, particularly in a commercial sense and thus they became unforgettable.
Henry Ford didn’t create the automobile, yet his Model T revolutionised personal transportation. Bill Gates didn't birth graphical user interface software, but with Microsoft's Windows, he shaped a digital age. Science fiction movies existed long before George Lucas dreamed of The Force and Lightsabers, but with Star Wars, he had an indelible impact on global culture, entertainment, and industry. Of course one of the most influential tech product launches in history was Steve Jobs’ iPhone: an iPod, a phone, and an internet communicator all in one.
I remember not so long ago, the sales landscape was very different. I was young and selling VHS educational tapes. They were designed for parents who wanted their children to have an academic advantage. It only took a couple of contacts with a cold lead to be able to create a connection. From there a firm handshake, good eye contact, and genuine conversation solidified things and soon a deal was solidified.
From a knock on the door or a phone call, this direct human touch created trust. It made it much easier to establish rapport, nurture the relationships and meet my sales targets. With just a few touchpoints, I could effortlessly engage with people who were potential clients.
We move forward in time and digital communication mediums like email rose to prominence and changed all this. Email was great for efficiency. A person could reach more people more quickly.
Whilst on paper this sounded like a great thing, there was fine print that wasn’t initially apparent. Speaking with someone at their front step or even on the phone enabled a deeper connection, combined with elements of unconscious rapport (See our program) the relationship between me and the person I was speaking to progressed very fast. An email doesn’t provide an ability to bridge those gaps.
What’s worse, with the multitude of people using emails and sending hundreds, if not thousands of emails everyday, people learned to be suspicious. One email had a fraction of the power of one face to face. Then as people became more dubious of emails they received the impact of an individual email became even less effective.
What happened as the number of touch points needed to have a meaningful interaction with a potential client ballooned from 2 to 3 to between 22 and 28. Think about the number of emails you get, the ones that get through that is, and how many of them you open. For me, when I get any email that even looks salesy I just delete it without opening it. I’m just not interested.
Now AI is here. AI is now being used to scan websites, gather specific details about you and then send hyper-personalized messages via email, LinkedIn and other platforms. Again on the face of it, it seems like a huge advantage. Back in the day I knocked on doors and through a quick conversation was able to determine if they had children. If so I continued to talk, if not I made a note to take that address of my follow up list. In contrast I can put a search parameter into AI, click a button and thousands of messages are sent to potential prospects.
That’s on the face of it. There is a dark side.
Over Saturation of Touch Points: Sure AI can send thousands of messages instantly. Inboxes become more crowded, spam filters get better and people become even more suspicious. If you genuinely have something of value for the person, it’s now much, much, much harder to get their attention.
Eroding Trust: This process of using AI to curate and send messages has only started and yet already I’m now more suspicious of any email or LinkedIn message I receive. Trusted friends aside, if I receive a message from someone I don’t know my guard is already up. Very rarely will I look at the title let alone opening. Think instant delete.
The Double-Edged Sword: Yes AI allows salespeople to instantly cast a wider net and create a message that appears more personalised. On the other side it is making it harder to overcome barriers to genuine human connection. Information travels fast today. I know and now you know (if you’re reading this and didn’t already know) that many messages you receive will not be created by a person. Real genuine personal contact has now become much harder to filter through. There is real likelihood the number of touchpoints required to break through and genuinely engage will skyrocket.
All this means AI has now made the job of the sales person undeniably becoming tougher. Welcome to the paradox of technology. Tools designed to make jobs easier end up making it more complex and hinder genuine connections.
But no, it’s not all doom and gloom. AI is a powerful tool to leverage your efforts. Particularly if you remember what you are working with. At the end of that transaction or deal you are working on is a real person. AI doesn’t make sales with people. Genuine personal relationships drive success.
Automation will continue to increasingly be part of our world. Today, tomorrow and into the future, successful sales will be found by implementing core sales fundamentals of genuine connections, trust, and understanding.
More so than ever breaking through to people requires a deliberate and thoughtful approach. If you are looking to create long term meaningful relationships here are some strategies the top salesperson can employ:
Personalize Beyond Automation: Avoid generic, AI-generated messages. Sure use AI to give you insights and ideas. Then craft unique and pertinent messages.
Educate, Don’t Sell: Instead of focusing on what you can get from them, ask, “what value can I offer. Provide consistent value without pitching. Become a trusted advisor.
Leverage Video Communication: Send a video of you. Anyone can use AI to do a voice over, some even sound great. Your USP is you. Oh, and leave little mistakes in. It’s our flaws that make us people.
Engage on Social Platforms Authentically: Don’t make every interaction a sales pitch. Treat your content like an editorial. Provide value in an interesting story and then if you want, at the end include how you can help them.
Prioritize Relationship-building Over Quick Wins: Ask questions and get to know the other person. This gives you information to deepen the relationship. Think of the person as a friend. Don’t you want to know about your friends?
Seek Feedback: When putting forward proposals, ask for feedback. You’ll get great information (for free) and you’ll be demonstrating that you listen and respect the other person.
Be Transparent: Be up front about the reason you are contacting the person. Oh and don’t say your are offering a free gift and then ask for their email. That’s not free. Say what it is. I’m going to share something with you, only if you give me your email.
More so than ever if you want to break through the clutter you must focus on building genuine human connections, be patient and consistently deliver value. This is the secret sauce to successful sales. It has always been that way and with the advent if AI those that do focus on building relationships will continue to be highly successful in the future.

Attracting and retaining top talent is more crucial than ever. Demographics have shifted and finding quality employees is harder. The best employees are a significant differentiator for your business. They drive innovation, productivity, and growth. Your business needs to elevate its talent attraction game. Here are seven essential steps that you can use to ensure you're attracting the best and brightest.
Understanding the Situation: Acknowledging the current market conditions is pivotal. Accepting this reality is the first step towards crafting a proactive strategy to attract the best talent.
Don't shy away from the challenges. Embrace them and recalibrate your strategies to navigate these complexities, optimizing for efficiency and effectiveness.
Differentiation is Key: It's essential to communicate what makes your company a unique and great place for employees to thrive. This goes beyond your mission, vision, and values? What is the impact your product or service is making?
More than ever clearly identify your ideal employee, what is their character and the impact they want to make. Make it known your business is looking for this type of person.
Data-driven Decisions: Use up to date data to inform your talent attraction strategy. Go deeper than trends which can shift quickly. The market went from ‘Go Woke’ to ‘Go Woke and Go Broke’ fast and it cost some businesses billions and counting.
Also, understand the current state of your workforce. Which roles have the highest impact on achieving your objectives? Focus your recruitment effort there.
Retention Over Acquisition: It costs much more to acquire a new employee than to retain an existing one. Yet what if that hire is not a good fit for your business. You’re doubling the loss. Cost of hiring and expense of keeping low performance.
Great Initial Engagement: Use systems and processes that identify the right fit for your business to ensure the cost of hiring is best maximised.
Lead with Enthusiasm: Passion is infectious. Driven and determined leaders inspire the whole team, leading to increased productivity and morale. Let this passion shine so potential employees learn about your business energy beforehand.
Prioritize Action: Ensure there are approaches within your teams that celebrate successes, learn from failures and always strive for improvement.
Outcome-Oriented Strategy: Especially in a remote working environment recognising results provides employees with clear deliverables without the need for an Orwellian style overwatch. Focus on being results-driven, reward success and encourage innovative solutions.
Set clear performance metrics and review them regularly. Employees will be aligned with your goals and quick course corrections can be made when needed.
Value Beyond the Paycheck: It’s a lack of recognition that often leads employees to look elsewhere. There’s value in providing opportunities for professional growth, personal growth, a positive work environment and appreciation.
Create a culture where your employees feel both seen and heard. Seek regular feedback, give appreciation and support to significantly improve morale and retention.
Conclusion:
The fight for top talent has grown in the past few years. Use these seven steps for your business to attract the best candidates and create an environment where they can thrive and drive your long term success.

My story is a little different than those of most financial experts. I spent my working career outside of the financial industry because I didn't like the products and advice they were providing and didn’t feel comfortable recommending them to others. During his working career, Rocky built my wealth through old-fashion savings and investing.
I grew up as an immigrant to the United States after my parents immigrated from India. They were only allowed to bring $25 with them and had to start over in life. While growing up, it was normal for all the parents to have conversations about money. How much things cost, how much they spent, and how much people earned. We observed the way they were making wise decisions, and the community quickly achieved financial success. I never realized this wasn't how everyone else talked about money. I learned most people don’t talk about money and are more likely to share their sex lives than their money story.
Once I achieved my financial goals, I had the time and space to think about how could I provide value to help people with their financials in a way I felt was honorable and in line with my core values. I learned that many small business owners were not looking at their financial reports, and more importantly, they were scared of them! I was dumbfounded. How can you be in business and not understand business, I asked?
The big aha came when I learned about Profit First and how it could help business owners ensure their financial success. Putting profit first was the same principle as pay yourself first, which was how I amassed wealth. I finally found a way that I could help business owners succeed in alignment with my values. The value and attractiveness of a company was largely dictated largely by its financial performance. Profitability, growth potential, and fiscal stability traditionally guided key decisions. That long-established trend has shifted.
ESG in the Spotlight (Environmental, Social, and Governance value orientation)
For customers and employees companies that provide effective solutions to social and environmental challenges are being viewed more favorably than those solely boasting robust financial health. To remain relevant and competitive your business must not just be profitable but also socially responsible and sustainable.
Understanding the Shift
People are more informed than ever and they know our world faces many challenges. These include environmental concerns like climate change and societal issues such as inequities and disparities. Customers and employees recognise your businesses can play a pivotal role to solve these problems. Those customers and employees are increasingly valuing the long-term prospects of business they engage with, placing a higher priority toward companies that seamlessly integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values into their operations. If that’s not your business, they’ll go to one that does.
Embracing 'Tech for Good'
Using technology as a tool to address societal challenges has great advantages. Intertwining technological innovations with ESG values offers a path to building more a sustainable and impactful business model for your business.
Your business needs to lay out a clear criteria reflecting this shift to attract quality customers and top-tier employees. Using ESG assessments is now a crucial factor for your business’ decision-making process. A business that does not adhere to high ESG standards is likely find customers and employees gravitating elsewhere.
The Financial Upside of ESG Focus
ESG principles are often framed in the context of societal responsibility and ethical business practices. This is only part of the picture. There's an undeniable economic advantage to an authentic ESG approach. Time and again it is shown that business that embrace ESG values, financially outperform their counterparts.
The benefits of your business proactively addressing ESG challenges is lower operational risks, increased customer and employee loyalty and an ability to tap into new market opportunities more easily. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know this contributes to better financial outcomes. An authentic commitment to ESG more than the right thing to do, it’s a sound financial strategy that leads to growing your revenue and profit.
The global business landscape continues to evolve. Unlimited access to information means customers and employees are more informed. You must recognize that profitability and societal responsibility are deeply interconnected. ESG integration is critical for your success. With the added benefit of financial prosperity, an authentic ESG shift for your business is more compelling than ever before.
Tips for Sustainable Success and Growth with ESG Enhancement
ESG is a transformative movement that's reshaping the way you do business. Here are some actionable strategies to enhance your ESG performance:
Conduct a Comprehensive ESG Audit: Conduct an in-depth assessment of your company’s current ESG performance. Identify areas of strength and required improvements to give you a clear roadmap of areas to prioritize.
Set Clear ESG Goals and Metrics: Establish ESG goals to ensure your business has a focused direction. Regularly review and adjust your goals based on evolving needs and your company’s performance.
Invest in Clean Technology: Look deeper. Make sure what you are doing is really green. It’s a big investment and to find out something doesn’t work after the fact is costly to your reputation and financially.
Empower and Educate Employees: Give employees the ability to be part of sustainability initiatives. Learn from them. You’ll be surprised by the knowledge they already have.
Strengthen Supply Chain Sustainability: Partner with suppliers and partners who uphold ESG values. A sustainable supply chain reduces risks, saves cost, and provides a better brand reputation.
Engage with Stakeholders: Regularly communicate with your stakeholders—be it shareholders, customers, or local communities—about your ESG efforts. Their feedback can provide invaluable insights for improvement.
Report Transparently: Share details about your company’s ESG progress, challenges, and future plans. Transparency builds trust with consumers, employees, investors, and stakeholders. Being open about their ESG performance is a competitive edge.
Incorporating these strategies into your business not only elevates your ESG score, it provides your business with new avenues for growth, innovation, and profitability. A commitment to ESG is more than just doing good, it’s about aligning business financial success with a sustainable and equitable future for everyone.

The way organisations engage with customers has undergone a significant transformation. The modern customer journey has shifted. Traditional contact methods have given way to a more self-driven approach, including online searches to social media interactions and mobile apps.
How does this affect your business? Now more than ever, the customer experience starts way before your sales people pick up the phone or your team responds to an email.
This profound shift highlights how vital it is for your business to ensure that your initial point of contact is both positive and memorable. We cannot understate the importance of creating rapport fast. Rapport establishes trust, fosters mutual understanding, and lays the foundation for a long-lasting business relationship.
When your customer feels genuinely connected to you from the outset, they're more likely to continue their journey with your business. This translates to increased loyalty and greater lifetime value. And ultimately higher revenue and profit for you.
Any disconnect, misunderstanding, or even a hint of impersonality and this potential customer is off to your competition, increasing their revenue and profit and not yours. And likely taking their friends with them. With such a bad taste in their mouth it’s much harder for you to win them back. You simply can’t derail the customer experience and jeopardizing potential future engagements by your staff having rapport skills lower than your competition.
Building rapport isn't just about friendly interactions. It goes much deeper. Unconscious rapport is about understanding customer needs, anticipating queries, and providing swift and accurate solutions. It's about ensuring this potential customer never has to repeat themselves and always feels heard. Unconscious rapport is a delicate art, combining effective communication strategies, reading non-verbal cues, and mastering active listening and unconscious empathy.
Sure technology aids in deciphering customer behavior and predicting their needs, but it's still the human touch, the genuine connection and rapport that make the difference between the customer coming to you or heading next door. The personal connection is more crucial than ever, especially when technology sets the stage, making that subsequent human interaction pivotal to your success or failure.
With the stakes so high, how can your businesses cultivate this art of rapport-building?
Tips to Cultivate Rapport in Business:
Active Listening: Teach your employees to truly listen when someone speaks, rather than just waiting for their turn. This shows your people have respect and helps them to understand the customer's perspective better.
Mirroring and Matching: When your employees, subtly mimic the body language, tone, or speech patterns of the person they're communicating with it fosters a deeper feeling of similarity and connection drawing that potential customer to your business.
Open-ended Questions: Encourage your employees to ask questions that can't be answered with just a 'yes' or 'no'. And listen to the answer. This will stimulate deeper conversations and demonstrate genuine interest in the customer.
Show Empathy: It is important for your employees to recognize and validate the feelings or concerns of the person they're speaking to. Empathy expressed by your people creates a deeper bond to your business.
Use their Name: Remembering and using a person's name in conversation shows your people validated the customer’s identity.
Share Personal Stories: Without over-divulging, enable your employees to share a relatable experience or stories can humanize your business in the conversation, creating a sense of shared experience and deeper bond between your business and the customer.
Respect Cultural and Generational Differences: Train your people in the value and power of respecting diverse cultures.
Follow up: Ensure your employees have a system to follow up after a meeting or conversation. Sending a quick note or message acknowledging the discussion. It shows that your business values the interaction and is committed to a deeper relationship.
Stay Present: Device distractions are commonplace today. Your business will stand as a magnet when your people give customers undivided attention.
Maintain a Positive Attitude: People remember more about how they felt when interacting with your team. Smile, have a positive mindset and a willingness to help. It will leave the customer not only wanting to come back but also share your business with their friends.
At DamianAndrews.com we recognise the invaluable role of rapport in customer experience. Unconscious Rapport takes you through high level techniques to establish and nurture connections with customers in a natural, unconscious manner. They will like you because of who your organisation is.
Unconscious Rapport goes beyond common textbook information. We go deep into unconscious communication, non-verbal cues, and active listening, enabling your business to not only build but also sustain trust, foster strong and develop long-term relationships.
Every customer interaction matters. A single negative experience can lead a customer to jump ship to your competition. Investing in unconscious rapport skills isn't just beneficial; it's essential.
Our unique system of Micro-Learning, Social-Learning, and Gamification is transformative for your business. Your business requires strategies that can be quickly absorbed and implemented. My name is Jeremy Nagel, and I'm a neurodivergent indie hacker who recently sold my startup, Smooth Messenger. During the journey of selling Smooth Messenger, I was diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive and hyperactive) + ASD Level 1. The diagnoses helped me to understand some of my personality traits and behaviours and has meant that I now spend a lot more time playing to my strengths and less time trying to "fix" parts of myself that are not actually broken, just different.
My new project is called Focus Bear, which is a habit stacking and productivity app for people with ADHD/ASD that helps you build healthy habits in the morning, crush it at work, and then shut off in the evening. I built the app to help myself with own challenges with productivity and work life balance. It's made a big difference in my life - I'm no longer working 12 hour days yet I'm still getting as much done.
The change in my approach to work has freed up time for life. I'm married and love to stay active. I've been into fitness and outdoor activities for a while now, but I struggled to prioritize exercise for a few years. However, over the last 12 months, I've been able to rebuild my exercise habits, and I now do at least an hour of exercise every day. I love running, cycling, cross-country skiing, and recently got into weight lifting, which has been a fun challenge for a skinny runner dude like myself.

It was the struggle of managing a sales business on paper that led him to investigate different ways to leverage technology to get the job done faster and better. Through trial and error he gained experience with both custom and packaged CRM solutions. This led to co-founding a CRM implementation practice with his wife Liz.
Wintec Group
At Wintec Group, we know that ineffective sales processes result in lost opportunities. Organizations can struggle to implement appropriate systems and gain user adoption due to lack of responsive expert support.
For over 25 years, we have gained recognition for helping our clients establish an easy, reproducible selling process to convert leads and close sales. Our commitment is to make sure that each implementation exceeds your expectations.
We’re proud to be an elite Maximizer CRM certified partner, achieving Partner of the Year consistently during our company’s history. We support customers in the USA, Canada, and beyond.

My results include:
Growing sales staffs 200% - 400% while -
Drastically reducing new hire turnover rates, from 60%+ to less than 5%;
Reducing average time to ramp for new hires by half or better; and
More than doubling the number of reps at full quota attainment.
All of this leads to positive recruiting efforts, reduced costs, and additional sales revenue.
Now I work with start-ups entering their hyper-growth phase and help them implement my proven Flywheel Results(TM) enablement system.
Hi, I'm Rob Durant, and at my core I am a teacher.
I’m the son of a math teacher. My Dad has taught in public schools for over 50 years! Even in his retirement he still teaches at a local community college.
But when it came time for me to go to college he strongly discouraged me from going into teaching. He told me it was difficult to raise a family as a teacher. I saw his struggles and understood.
Instead I went into business. But in every role I found myself gravitating towards helping, mentoring, leading, training - Teaching.
I started my career with the Walt Disney Company, the company credited with inventing the field of customer service. There I learned the art & science of providing outstanding customer service. But when it came time for me to raise a family of my own it was important for us to be closer to our extended family and we moved back to Boston.
Eventually I landed with the phone company. After weeks of interviews and batteries of tests I still remember the call from the HR representative, “Rob, we’d like to offer you the role of customer service representative. But please know, there is a sales quota with this role.”
Ugh. I swallowed hard and took the job. But up to this point I had the same (mis)perception about sales that many I encounter in customer service today still have: Sales is EVIL! Sales is yucky. If Sales didn’t screw up somewhere we wouldn’t NEED customer service!
I have since come to learn I could not have been more wrong. Eventually I became a highly successful sales representative – bonuses, prizes, Presidents Club trips and all that.
But my true nature is helping, mentoring, guiding. While I could help one customer at a time as a sales rep, I saw my impact scale as I helped others do the same. Eventually I transitioned into sales leadership, sales training, sales operations, and what is now known as Sales Enablement - and more recently Revenue Enablement.
At one point in my career I had an opportunity to teach in public high schools - and I loved every minute of it. My Dad was right - it was difficult to raise a family as a teacher, but we got by somehow.
But when the start-up world reached out to me and said, “Rob, we want you to help our sales team get from point A to point Z. Not only do we not have the roads built, we haven’t drawn the map!” I jumped at the chance.
I LOVE working with start-ups! The fast pace, the green field to develop new things, the younger generation I get to mentor and help build their career foundations - this is EXCITING to me! I found my calling helping to build organizations by building the careers of those who join them.

Be The SuperHero of Your Story
Welcome to superhero training. No, you will not have to fall into a vat of toxins to get your powers. You just need to be dipped in the baptismal pool where you’ll be washed clean by the love of Jesus. You don’t have to have some alien from outer space give you a magic ring that changes your appearance. Instead, you can receive the Holy Spirit which will transform you from the inside. You won’t have to fight the forces of evil alone. You’ll have a Father in heaven who always goes before you and will fight your battles.
But He won’t be able to put his “Super” on your natural (as my pastor says) until you put on the whole armor of God. Until you step in as the “hero” in your own story, He won’t put His “Super” on your “hero.” So your training begins here in these pages where you’ll learn how to use your powers and discern your villains. Yes, you have powers and they’re just waiting to get out. The fate of the world is at stake–and that’s not an exaggeration. You were made for a purpose and your villains (the Enemy) knows it! He will stop at nothing to find your weakness and use it to destroy you. So we better get started.

I love to talk about how our mindsets and habits impact our lives, leadership, and businesses. I'm a husband, father, and executive coach.
What is B.L.U.E. Shirt Leadership?
It's the idea that all great leaders choose to:
• (B)e a self-aware leader.
• (L)ead with accountability.
• (U)se a growth mindset.
• (E)mpower others.
What Kyle Gillette does.
Too many men in today's business world struggle and feel like they are on an island. They are in a state of SOS: Stressed, Overwhelmed, and feeling Stuck.
But it doesn't have to be that way anymore. With the BLUE Shirt Framework, you can...
✅ Be a better business owner, father, husband, and follower.
✅ Do more for your community, family, and faith.
✅ Have more opportunities to experience life more fully.
✅ Give more of your time, talent, and treasure for the benefit of others.
About Kyle Gillette
I grew up on an orange grove in Central California watching my dad work long days. During middle school and high school, I worked along side him before heading off to college at Cal Poly, where I studied to become a Physical Therapist.
But after school, I was introduced to a faith-based men's mentoring program that changed my personal and professional trajectories. The group of 18 to 25-year-olds I had the privilege of guiding at the time—considered "unleadable" by many professionals—was the catalyst for facilitating dramatic change, not only for them but for myself, as well.
During my work at the mentoring academy, I ran a pet resort for 3 1/2 years and got mentoring from a 20+ year retired police officer/deputy sheriff.
In hindsight, I clearly see how my experiences as the son of a farmer, running a pet resort, being an entrepreneur, father, and husband, along with my life-long fascination with psychology and human behavior, led me to the path of professional coaching. There’s nothing I’d rather be doing than equipping men who are business owners to increase their personal and professional freedom with a fresh mindset and new tools.

I'm The Collaboration Guy because I help businesses, teams and individuals excel with Collabradabra - the magic of collaboration.
As a stubborn introverted 6-year-old my mother insisted I come out of my bedroom to talk to my uncle Harry and his family. I didn't like talking so I would ask my uncle questions and he gave me long funny answers.
As an introvert I was a great student and after university I found myself at IBM. They encouraged us in a year long sales school sales school to sell the IBM way, and I found the more I ignored selling the more clients bought from me and I was on to one of many 100% sales clubs.
Later in a decade in advertising agencies selling clients I found traditional selling didn't work. What did work was demonstrating a unique understanding of the consumer and then you were rewarded with a purchase.
When I started consulting, I taught non salespeople like engineers, lawyers, and accountants how to build the client centric business by not selling but collaborating with clients.
After 10 years of consulting and training in 12 countries and a master’s degree I wrote Collabradabra (rhymes with abracadabra)- the magic of collaborative conversations.
You are only one conversation away from a breakthrough.

My name is Isaac Miller. I am a father, husband, man of faith, Marine Corps Veteran, and fitness business owner. I have been a personal trainer for over 10 years with a degree in exercise science. I have spent much of my career working in the physique enhancement space where I was able to help many athletes achieve their dreams of getting on stage, winning shows, and claiming pro status.
After being in the industry for over a decade, I noticed the trend of coaching and training becoming unprofessional. It became a way for "in-shape" people to get a quick buck, but it was genuinely hurting the clients they worked with. My goals shifted from coaching athletes, to mentoring and guiding trainers to learn evidence-based practices to better serve their clients. Then from there, learning the appropriate business tactics to scale their impact to a whole new level.
Being able to help new coaches go from novice to 6 figure business owners while truly changing people's lives for the better has become a new life mission for me. To give healthy advice for training, nutrition, and business has become my passion.

About Steve SandorInspiring Business and its purpose
As a 30 year old in the 80’s, I was recruited to my dream job as a National Sales Manager.
Big car, big salary, over 30 staff with 5 direct reports. Jackpot.
My new employer believed I was the ideal candidate and I felt I deserved it after spending 10 years working my way up and proving myself in sales. After about 6 months I realised I had no idea what I was doing, my staff started ignoring me, I couldn’t get meetings with my boss and I had a target on my back.
It took them another 12 months before they put me out of my misery and by then I had made a real mess of it. What I couldn’t figure out was how had this happened.
I had read all the books, done all my research, been to all of the workshops and seminars. My theory should have been down pat. Instead, I couldn’t engage people and failed at my job. Worst of all my staff hated me. I am pretty sure they cheered as I left the building and not ONE person came and wished me well in the future. That was a bigger blow than being let go.
It was at that point that I realised I needed to get better in my People Skills, I needed to take a step back and align my work behaviour with who I was.
I had the business Jekyll and Hyde syndrome and was wearing a mask that was not authentic. Plus, I also had some youthful attitude, and not in a good way. I thought I had to ‘drive’ my staff to get the best out of them, that’s what I did, so why didn’t they? I couldn’t have been more wrong.
For the past 25 plus years, I have made it my mission to teach others how not to make these same mistakes. To do that I first had to work on me and continually learning and improving on ways I do things. I have been fortunate have bosses, coaches, mentors, and people I respect give me advice and as a Management Consultant and Coach my mission is to be that inspiration to my clients
I am proud to say that I have been able to inspire and generate positive business outcomes with whom I have trained and mentored. Now when I leave a business after delivering a Workshops or finish a Consulting engagement there is joy and pride at how we have all grown and what we have achieved together.
Sounds easy, right! Wrong. It took a lot of hard work and commitment by me and the teams I worked with to get the outcomes they wanted.
Whether you’re a business owner or executive, a new or aspiring manager, then you’re in the right place.
