It's a prize every footballer wants to win, but most don't. Lionel Messi is a champion! A heart-stopping final at the Lusail Iconic Stadium saw Argentina almost lose the plot. Leading 2-0 till the 80th minute, it seemed a done deal. Enter Kylian Mbappé. And a repeat of this script happened in extra time too!
The resulting penalties, though, worked in favour of Argentina and Messi capped an incredible career with the biggest prize in football.

Another rain marred day means that this final of the WTC is fast turning into a two-day shootout! Could be exciting, but... is this the right finish?
