It's a prize every footballer wants to win, but most don't. Lionel Messi is a champion! A heart-stopping final at the Lusail Iconic Stadium saw Argentina almost lose the plot. Leading 2-0 till the 80th minute, it seemed a done deal. Enter Kylian Mbappé. And a repeat of this script happened in extra time too!

The resulting penalties, though, worked in favour of Argentina and Messi capped an incredible career with the biggest prize in football.
