We have all been through really hard times in our life. Many times, we make it through regardless of how difficult it was. But the aftermath was not so good. We moped about and said how difficult life still is. Yet we don’t have to. Our lament can turn to praise as we hope andf trust in God. How can we do that well in this broken world we live in? Answers are ahead!
We can be a sad people. We want to talk about all the bad stuff and why the world is going downhill like a kick ball down a steep mountain. But shpuld that be all life is? We have much to look forward to. It is God’s glory that we look to that we can live a life of praise. It’s ttime that we do
The world seems like it’s going crazy everywhere around us. Does that make you want to trust God more or less? Habakkuk struggled and gives us direction to know how to respond in this broken world we live in. Are you ready to know God’s way?
You have been treated unfairly. We all have. Yet, should followers of Christ respond differently? We are not always going to understand, but we do have a God that we can trust to always do the right thing.
Prayer is the beleivers access to God. Yet we don’t think much about this vital activity in the Christian life. Be ready this week to boldly approach the throne of God with confidence and watch what God does!
As followers of Christ, we do not live our lives in defeat, but as those who have overcome. Our challenge to day is not to give in to fears and doubts but to trust in the Jesus who made a way clear and will be faithful to us always It’s tome we trust Him and not ourselves.
For some of us, we fear love. We fear loving others with sacrificial practical love. Maybe you have hard time loving others with the love of Jesus because:
• You might be rejected.
• You might be hurt.
• You might be betrayed.
• You might be embarrassed.
This is the Big statement from John: “Perfect love drives out fear” (1 John 4:18). John has been telling that one of the ways we know we belong to God is by how we love others. But, love is a challenge because it’s hard to love. Let’s love fearlessly!
I hear this phrase more and more, “Well, that’s your truth. We all have our own truth.” But can that line up with what real truth is? it’s that which is found in the Word of God, the Bible. When a false speaks "their truth”, can we test it to recognize it as false? Yes we can and yes we should. Here’s how.
Hate is strong and mocks the song of peace on earth good will to men. Yet, in the midst of this hate, Christains are called to love the hateful, the unlovely, the mean, the destructive, and all humans in this broken world. Love God. Love your brothers and sisters in Christ. Then your love will be seen as God’s love as never before.
We are alll broken people. Yet, do we really have to live broken when we are new creations following Jesus? There is another way other than allowing sin, our enemy to take our lives over. The answer is found in what happened when Jesus died and rose again for us.
Comfort when we’re hurting is a big deal. As believers, we rely on God to bring us His comfort. Often that comes through other believers who have often been through a hard time and are qualified by their difficult situation to bring comfort. Has God given you a story that can help others who are facing the “sentence of death”. It might not be sickness, but it could be the death of: a relationship, finances, or somehing else. Learn to respond as God intends.
Over and over again in the Bible we are challenged to endure. Yet, often we don’t know that looks like on a spiritual biblical level. It does matter that we listen and believe the right doctrines that the Bible teaches us clearly. It’s time that we as God’s people understand what it means to endure as followers of Christ.
The world is not just our planet, it is also something much more insidious. It is this broken world system that is everything that opooses the Christian, the Christ, and His kingdom. We are told simply told to not love the world neither the things in it. Let’s begin understanding what that means in today’s teaching.
Believing in Jesus is a good thing. But certainly there is more to being a follower of Christ than just some mental assent to someone you believe existed or even that He died to forgive us. If you love him, you’ll keep HIs commands. How serious was Jesus when He taught that. He was very serious because what goes on in your life is a matter of life and death. If you want to know you have eternal life, you need to listen.
We sin. We experience darkness. We have no way out.. except for the light of the world, Jesus Christ. He took our place and made it so that we have a way to be in God's holy presence in heaven and walk in His light right now.
Ever wonder why the high priest wore the garments he did? It was to point HIs people to His glory and beauty. As His people looked forward to the messiah, they would recognize His glory and beauty to trust and follow Jesus.
We often think of God as a wrathful and judgmental God in th Old Testament, but He is so much more. In the same way that the Israelites were disobedient then saw the longsuffering and forigiveness that God offered them, we are now given that grace and forgiveness now. Even when we don’t deserve it. As Romans 5 reminds us, But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 How much more then, since we have now been justified by his blood, will we be saved through him p 1016 from wrath.

When our worship is good it affects not only our heart and emotions, it also affects our mind and will. It’s not simply a feeling, but a mindful response to our God who loves us and won us a great victory. Let’s worship in Spirit and in truth starting today.
We all like to think we have faith. Faith in a friend, in our job, in our parents, etc. But our faith is onyl as good as what the object of our faith. As followers of Christ, it is our faith in the One who will never fail that gives us hope. Not because we have a great amount of faith, but because Jesus is wirthy of our faith.
There are some things we should never forget. And I’m not just talking about your wedding anniversary or your mother’s birthday. We should never forget what the Lord has done for us. Not just the physical blessings, but also the blessings of salvation and forgiveness because of Christ’s death on the Cross. The Passover points us back to all He did for us. The Lord’s Supper points us to Christ defeating our worst enemy. Never forget!
God is awesome! But do we really know all that means. Because God is awesome, I can trust Him and I can believe Him. You can that starting today. Never harden your heart.
In our world where so many are discouraged, even when they do the right thing, we can let that attitude get all over us as well. But God can bring trusted. He will do what He said He will do. Even if people and circumstances don’t seem to be moving that direction. Let’s learn how God is at work even now from the book of Exodus.
We should make a point in our lives to know well what affects us most. You might think you should know what others think about you, or know your career well, or even know your friends. But there is no one greater to know than knowing God. Having a relationship with Him was what Moses was missing, so God intoduced Himself as Moses got to know God better than anyone before him ever had.
Difficulties and trials in our lives often make us feel as if people and sometimes even God has forgotten us. But, that is never the case. The proof is that God is always at work in ways we cannot see Him. We need to remember God. He has worked before. He will in our our lives. trust His timing. Receive His best.
Growth in our lives is something we should strive for. When we grow we can do great things. How much more should we choose to grow in our relationship with our Lord and His church? Without growth, we die. On a spiritual level, it’s time we grow in our lives as never before.
This body will not last. We are foolish to waste our lives keeping it as if it will. But for followers of Christ, we have the promise of not only life abundant nnow, but also life eternal with Jesus Christ. Living for Christ is the best life you can ever live. It does matter how you live now. It will echo though eternity.
There is nothing more important to the believer in Jesus than His resurrection. Without that, we are nothing. But, it is also true if we are not resurrected from the dead, then neither did Jesus. Believe and live for eternity. It’s that simple.
God has called for order in our worship as a congregation. We cannot be doing whatever we want whenever we want in worship. It is a command to be orderly and understandable. While no spiritual gifts are out or bounds, God requires His church to act responsibly and with humility each and ever time we gather for worship.
Do you want to know what love is? Many people are asking the same question. Love is not a feeling, but a person, Jesus Christ. He is the One who in love came to this and died and rose again. Because of Him, we can love as God intended and designed from the beginning of creation.
Every single believer has been given a gift to serve our Lord and His church. But not everyone is using it. It’s time to jump in with both feet and build His church together.
Thanksgiving is a cornerstone of the Christian life. That is not only a meal we share with famiikly, but mostly a meal we share with other believers as we worship the Lord remembering the Lord’s last supper. Whether you call it communion, the Lord’s Supper, or something else, it is an opportunity to thank our Lord for what He did to give us eternal by the forgiveness of our sin.
God created and designed men to be men and women to be women. How we choose to live God’s plan and purpose in our lives makes a difference in our usefulness for God and in the lives of His people. Be who God created you to be. He makes no mistake,
God has been faithful to His own. Why do we struggle to be faithful to Him? God is asking you to be faithful. Learn about the warning signs that we are moving away from Him on this episode.
We are partnering together to complete the mission and plan of God. Not only do we partner with those who currently got to church, but also future generations. We will be the ones who have our shoulders stood on to continue the work. Let's go!
Our world is overwhelmed by everyone declaring their rights. We as beleivers must be willing to step back and examine our minds to see if there are any right we should give. Eternity is more important than rights we hold so closely.
Both Marriage and Singleness are a gift from God. whatever season God has you in, it is a blessing to live for Him well as you find His purpose and do His will. your life can be that fulfilling starting today!
Divorce is rampant in our culture. Living together without marriage is as well. We need to be asking the question, what does God think about this. AND, how do we respond to that lifestyle as followers of Christ? Have questions? We've got the answers!
Does it matter if I have sex with someone who is not my husband or wife? Does God care about my sexuality? Yes, He does, because you belong to Him. Listen to find out God's plan for you, your sex life, and your commitment to His way for you.
Conflict seems to be as normal as the rising sun.If that's true, shouldn't we be able to deal with it instead of ignoring it or inflaming it? Serving is for the lowest person in the room, right? At least that people would want to make you think. But as mature believers, we are called to serve the Master. We serve the Master by serving Him and serving others. Not for anything we can get out of it, but so that we can give Him pleasure. Choose the life of service starting today.
When we build, we build with a foundation that is strong. The church also needs to ber built on a solid foundation, but not with building materials, but with gold, silver, and precious jewels. Maturity is just knowing a bunch of stuff. Too often we assume that if someone is smart, they're wise and mature. In the world's eyes, that may be true, but in God's eyes, it's much different. Listen today to find out what God tells us maturity is.
What the world thinks is foolish and stupid and ordinary, God does not. To be a fool in the world's eyes is to be exactly where God wants you. It can happen for you if you will let God do it for you. Relying on yourself is destructive to everything God has for you.

Most of the time, we are ot as wise as we think we are. Proverbs helps us by letting us know where we need help. By asking the right questions and making a commitment to God and His Word, we can grow in wisdom. That's a real place you can find yourself.
We are told nearly everyday that money is the root of all evil. While people quote that is a bible verse, it's not true. It is when we love money that we we move into idolatry. If that is the case, does God have a plan for the money He has given me in my life? Yes, He does. And it is good!
This world and it's way of thinking and living attacks the Christ-follower daily. We must all stand on the Bible and live it out if we are to experience our families not just surviving, but thriving. It's your choice, the destructive road of the world or the life-giving path to Jesus and eternal life. Let's live wisely!
Work is a part of our lives. As Christ followers, we follow the words and example of Jesus to work for Him & His kingdom every single day at our jobs. He has a purpose for you at your job.
Anger is not overcome with a countdown or going to a happy place. It’s found in understanding and living out the patience and long suffering of God.
Words matter. How we say words matter. It takes a humble person to admit their words can change. And only Jesus can do that. Join us for what Proverbs tells us all about our speech.
I believe in Jesus. I want out of hell. Isn’t that enough? I’m going to take that middle road. I believe it, I’m not going to live it. Kind of a third path kind of life somewhere between wisdom and folly. But, is that God’s plan?
Blessed? Yes, you can be if you’ll make the real effort of seeking and living wisdom. Be that person that seeks the blessing of wisdom.
Purity of the biblical kind is rare today. It was God's design from the beginning of time. Yet, most not only refuse to live or believe in a biblical ethic, but choose to fight. Often may live miserably because of it. Today we get to discuss 3000 year old advice from the wisest man who lived before Christ, Solomon and hear his reasons for a life changing choice that brings with it the greatest blessings of life.
The next generation doesn't hear what we say if we are not willing to do what is wise while we teach them. Pass it on. It will make a difference for not only the next generation, but also for all time.
The pursuit of happiness, guaranteed by our constitution but many never find it. The book of Proverbs does encourage us to pursue that we may find in God’s own wisdom.
Trusting is hard. Especially if you have been lied to, swindled, or had a promise broken. However, there is one whom we can always. With all our heart.
Pursuing that which doesn’t really matter is humanity’s specialty. It is so tiresome to go after something and find when you catch it there is no value. Pursue the One who is wisdom. That’s real satisfaction.
Wisdom is obvious and easily accessible. Will you choose the easy path to folly or do the hard work it takes to go after wisdom?
Greed is good? One movie told us that. Greed is a destroyer, not a builder. Learn how to live generously and make a real difference in this world and the next.
It is the Holy Spirit who fuels us to accomplish the purpose and plan not only for our life, but also in this world. What fuels you?
Abundance in America is a real thing. Many have more than they need. But just because you have stuff doesn’t mean you are living abundantly. In our last passage of Scripture, we examine what Jesus has for us so we can all live abundantly in Christ v
Disappointment in life is so normal. We all have stories we could tell. It is only in Christ that our life will experience joy instead of hopelessness. Look to the risen Christ.
If Christ then we have great hope. We can believe that the One who rose from the dead has forgiven our sin and given all who believe eternal life.
Has anyone ever selflessly given themselves for you? Maybe you didn’t even deserve it. That’s exactly what Jesus did for you.

Prayer is such a big part of the Christian life. Ever wonder why? Because we need God in the tough times. You and I learn to make it with Him by our side. Jesus did the same on the darkest day of His life. So should we.
If something is new, it changes how we think of it. As a new creation in Christ, we are no longer bound by the old things. Isn’t it time we live the New Life as Jesus gave His life for ours?

Many people have a problem with authority. Certainly the religious leaders of Jesus day did. When we think of Christmas, we think of gifts. But the gifts we really need can’t be bought with money or effort. The gift we need is passion and peace and the gift us Jesus. May you receive the greatest gift of in you.
Focus can be a good thing. But not if you focus on the wrong things. What is your focus? Is it being faithful to King Jesus?
Do look at Jesus as the great Santa in the sky? Isn’t he supposed to give everything you ask him for? Not if you’re looking at Him rightly. He has so much more for you than just giving you want you want. He knows you and He knows what you need.
Are you good at telling people about how good you are? Well, there is only one who is good, and he is God. It’s only him who gives us his goodness that we may even I have a chance of being good to others. We hope you’ll listen and find out what that takes in your life.
As we await expectantly for Jesus, He exhorts us to live for Him persistently with Child-like trust.
Thankfulness is typically used on one day of the year. We go around the table and think hard so we can share that one thing we’re grateful for. But, should a thankful heart be cultivated daily… all year long? Listen in as we share why and how you can live a grateful life.
How do you handle your relationships? Are you willing to forgive and be forgiven? It’s time that we demonstrate grace and forgiveness for one another as God intended.

We have all made excuses. But Jesus should never be that person we make them to. He invites. We go. Period

Compassion is a character quality that truly exhibits the heart of God. Problem is most of us have no idea what Compassion really is. Is it just a feeling or is there more?
What is real peace and how can you have it. Not just for time but eternity. That’s the peace Jesus left us with.
Jesus has an expectation of those follow Him. Be Ready. There will be great joy for those who are ready. For those who are not ready… not do much.

Fearing God is a way of life for a believer. When the heat of persecution or ridicule comes your way, never fear people. They make take your life, but have no say in your eternity. That is only for God.
How do we wait on the lord when we’re having a tough time? God is preparing us and maturing us to make us. He wants us to be so we’re ready when he gives us direction and leader ship. That’s why we trust him and that’s why we wait.
Hypocrisy has plagued the church since the beginning. We must strive to live an authentic life as kind as we claim the name of Christ. To our Lord and a watching world, it matters.
FOMO can help you walk straight into this world. How can you avoid that trap? Find out from the words of Jesus himself.
Ignore Jesus at your own peril. Will you choose to live for the kingdom of this world or the Kingdom of God? It matters, and you can’t be neutral.
How’s your prayer life? Jesus taught us to pray and made it simple. It’s time we develop our prayer life with Him. That’s how we build a relationship with Jesus that is real and personal.

Follow Jesus. What does the really mean to us who claim to be Christians? There are definite ways that Jesus shared with that helps us not only think well as Christians, but also live well.
Jesus provides what we need, not what we want. As we are obeying Jesus and choosing to live on mission, God provides my needs. That’s how and when I trust Him.
There is a difference between our wants and our needs. It’s time to let Jesus supply our every need.
Fear can be so debilitating. Faith is our way of overcoming senseless or foolish fear. How do you deal with fear?
Responding to Jesus happens in many ways. But it all comes down to the condition of the heart. Is your heart receptive to Jesus and His Word?
Pursuing something with all you have. God has designed you for that. Are you really pursuing the right activity, the right person, the right purpose? God wants you to pursue that one thing starting today.
What does it look like to commit to Christ? It is really reflected by how well we love and forgive those who come seeking Him.
What do you do with doubts? Run from Jesus or to Him? Run from church or to it? Trust Jesus to be who He is. That changes everything.
One day we will all die. The hope Christ gives us is that He stops our funeral and bring us back to life. We who were dead in our sins find new life in Christ. That’s the kind of interruption we want and need.
Death is assured for every living thing on this earth, including you. Faith in Jesus helps us Faith death without fear.
What happens when life squeezes you? The juice should come from the fruit of the Spirit. That’s what impacts live. That’s how you and others around you know you have… authentic faith.
“Judge not” we are told by the world. But is there a way to judge and obey the will and heart of Jesus. Today’s message will help us know how to criticize rightly.
Love is action. When we love our enemies, we are more like God than we really think we are. It is the Gospel that demonstrates that kind of love.

Do you struggle with hearing the words of Jesus and then living as He would have you? Jesus desires for us to do and the proof will come later. Embrace Him, don’t struggle.
Did the devil really make you do it? We learn today how to overcome temptation. Jesus has won the battle.
It’s time to start over. No, not because it’s a new year, but a new opportunity to repent, be forgiven, and live that wonderful life Jesus intended for each of us.
Ever lost something? We have all lost something much more than our wallet or our keys. We’ve lost God. We can only find Him by looking for Jesus.
Singing Christmas Carols is wonderful. Mary dings the first Christmas carol and it gets us to Magnify God and focus on others. What a great song she sung!

What is it that causes you to wonder and be amazed? God’s desire is that we should have great wonder at because of Jesus. He is wonder-full!
As long as there has been a Bible, there have been skeptics. Have you ever considered that your lack of trust in God in a certain area of your life makes you a skeptic as well? Today we learn what it means to trust God.
If you’ve ever spoken with someone about Christ, you have to ask them to believe. What does that mean? What is the best way to explain? Today, that’s what we are studying.
We will all spend eternity somewhere. Where will you go when you pass from this life to the next? Eternity is real and eternity matters.
We all have lots of problems. But what if I told you that your biggest problem isn't your finances, your job, or your family... it's you. Sin has harmed us so that we are self-obsessed, self-indulgent, and self-centered. But God paid the ultimate price for you and me that we might have life abundant and eternal. That kind of life is found in Jesus.
We often want to share what Christ has done in our lives, but aren’t real comfortable with street preaching or door knocking. Then this is for you today we learn to pray for the people God has placed closest to us. You can be ready to be on the mission of God starting today!
God Is both good and great. How can that impact our lives? We can’t let the lies of this world and the feelings we often accept cause us to reject the ways and will of God.
God knows you and loves you, no matter what you've done. He will never leave you or forsake you because He is always present. So, when you feel as if you can't trust God, you can trust Him. He all knowing, ever present, and all powerful. He is what makes our lives worth living.
What are you pursuing in your life? Psalm 119 tells us not only what to pursue but how to pursue it. Listen and learn from the wisdom of ages.
How often do we forget the things that matter most? God has done so much for us starting with The death and Resurrection of His very own Son for our sin. Then continues by hearing and answering our prayers. What a wonderful God. It is truly for His name’s sake.
Too often, we want to focus on the bad. But because of the past in Jesus, our future is better than anything we can imagine. Don’t forget His benefits, God forgave our sin. Isn’t that enough?
Waste is usually considered bad. But wasting time not so much. How do we use this most precious of gifts to focus our selves and our very short Iives on God? Answers are here today.
Wanting more from life? There is so much more as we seek what God wants for our lives. He wants more for you too. Don’t miss all God has in store for you.
We all have certain privileges because of family or citizenship, but there is no greater privilege than our life with God.
Life gives us lots of “That’s unfair!” moments. What is the best way to respond? What should we expect from God? God will make it all right. Here’s how.

Have you ever felt lonely? Really lonely? God felt the same way through Jesus the Son. He went through the Cross so that you and I might never by lonely as He was.
Psalm 19 is one of the most beautiful poems in all the world. So, look up to the heavens and you can see God. But the heavens are not enough, we also need His word to reveal to us Jesus. Enjoy this beautiful Psalm.
Life is tough. When it gets tougher than we can handle, God will be there. Today we look at how Hod encourages us when we are in the toughest of times.
