In my previous Hive post, I shared about finally acquiring my Bambu Lab H2D printer. Since then, I’ve been exploring ideas and designs that could be fun to try out—and while browsing through MakerWorld, I came across something really interesting: a cat food dispenser.
The DesignThis isn’t my original build, but the concept immediately caught my attention. The dispenser is designed to release cat food in controlled portions, making it easier for pet owners to feed their cats on time. The clever part is that it prevents pets from spilling or overeating, since the container keeps the food secure until it’s dispensed.
I thought it was a great example of how 3D printing communities like MakerWorld provide creative solutions to everyday needs. Seeing projects like this makes me even more inspired to put my H2D to work on practical prints in the future.
Why Share ThisAs a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have simple tools that make daily routines smoother. I may not have built this dispenser yet, but it’s now on my list of possible prints. With the precision and speed of the H2D, I’m excited to eventually try designs like this—whether for my cat’s feeding time or for other household hacks.
Looking AheadFinding this dispenser reminded me that the real strength of 3D printing isn’t just about making flashy objects, but also about creating useful, real-life solutions. For now, I’ll keep collecting ideas from MakerWorld and gradually work on printing projects that fit my needs.

Wow, it's been ages since I last dropped a post here—feels like forever, honestly.
Life got busy, you know how it goes, but I've been itching to jump back in and share what's been keeping me occupied.
Figured it's high time for an update, especially since I've got some cool new gear that's got me all fired up about making stuff again.
So, the big news? I finally pulled the trigger and bought myself a Bambu Lab H2D 3D printer. Yeah, that beast!
If you're into 3D printing like I am, you probably know it's got that dual extruder setup, hits crazy high temps up to 350°C, and even has active chamber heating at 65°C for those finicky materials. I was hemming and hawing for months, but man, once it arrived, it changed everything.
One of the first projects I dove into was building a Gridfinity toolbox. You know Gridfinity, right? That super modular system where everything snaps together like Lego for adults—perfect for organizing tools, bits, and all the chaos on my workbench. I customized it a bit, adding compartments bolts. The whole process was a blast, though I hit a snag with layer adhesion on the taller bins until I dialed in the settings. Turned out great in the end, super sturdy and satisfying to click into place.
I'm actually uploading a video walkthrough of the build right now—nothing fancy, just me rambling through the steps, showing the print fails (because who doesn't love those?), and the final assembly. It'll be up on, so keep an eye out if you want to see it in action. Might inspire you to try something similar!

Today we have decided to play some UFO-catching crane games. The cost for a single play is 100 yen or approximately $0.73, we have made a lot of turns that we lost nearly 2,000 yen for playing hahaha. Pepper (the black cat) is our cat who was attacked by Milky boy when I am feeding them on the stream, Milky boy is the white cat and the father of Skylar and Tigger(calico). Lately, I am annoyed with Pepper because she is bullying Skylar and especially Tigger, I am hoping that she learned her lesson of not bullying our kitties again, I feel sorry for her :(

Don Quixote store (donkihote in Japanese) is a place where you can find a lot of cheap products for sale. Some of the foreigners who are visiting Japan come to this place to enjoy the tax-free benefits, just be sure to come with a passport, and sometimes if needed you are required to show the ID (identification document) from the country you originated.

Greeting my fellow Cat lovers hehe. I want to share the short clip video from Pimp Your Post Thursday because I am honored that our Happy Catz Project was mentioned by @dreemsteem and @shadowspub which I really do appreciate, it was an achievement to be featured here.
HappyCatz is about loving stray cats by taking care of them and sometimes doing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) if necessary to control the Cats population in the area. We are aware that the Cats do some heat and this reason can make them spread and multiply in a short period of time. In my experience, I already have done some TNR on most of the Cats in our area and will do it again in the future. God willing.

This video was taken by May 2021, the three kitties are still living that time and I was very happy to have them even though they are stray cats.
Sadly speaking, the 3 browns kitties passed away because of the disease and only pepper remains up to date.
I could just imagine if only they are still living today, they would be happy to see my project of the Happy Catz, but too bad they are not around to witness and to be seen on the cameras by the community.
However, these cats gave me a great experience after all.

I want to show you the Cats feeding place on my end, if you want to suggest anything I would love to hear it. I still waiting for my Neem plant to grow and become bushy so the feeding place have privacy and I am planning to add amenities that Cat loves interacting to aside from just feeding a Cats. Hi guys, today I want to talk about decentralized hive fund and why I think it is important to the Hive community. It is one of the cool features of being part of Hive ecosystem, and to become part of the decentralized community funding without any centralized authority.
If you are a web 3 developer, perhaps the decentralized hive fund can help you pursue your niche on what you are building for the world of web 3.
So what is the Decentralized Hive Fund (DHF) in a nutshell?
The Decentralized Hive Fund (DHF) is an on chain decentralized autonomous system that allows users to submit proposals for funding and vote on which proposals should be funded.
What is a proposal?
A proposal is a work plan which is set up by an individual or a group to do some kind of blockchain tool, productivity, trouble-shooting applications that will benefit the hive blockchain or the community.
Personally, I love to check the proposal by going on https://www.peakd.com and click proposals.
Here is the list of every individual or group that already submitted their proposals. Located on the top are the proposals with the highest votes from the community via a stake-voted system.
If we scroll it down, we can notice something called Return Proposal and I want you to take a closer look at the Return Proposal of @gtg that says;
Every proposal with less votes will not receive funds.
The purpose of the Return Proposal is to act in line that separates the unfunded from the funded proposals.
At the time of making this post, the Return Proposal vote value is 31,608,826.195 Hive Power. The implication is that if we want to get our proposal to get funded, it needs to accumulate a vote value of more than the Return Proposal
In my opinion, if the Hive community will see it as beneficial to the community, I have no doubt that it can get funded, just like other proposals have done. So my question for you is;

As someone who lives in Japan because my parent is located in Nagoya which is in the eastern part of Tokyo, I witness how the Japanese people are addicted to Animes like Dragonball Z, Naruto, One piece and many more. Japanese Local TV has a new series of shows every Thursday night so we are in front of the Television screen by that time to watch the latest episode of our favorite anime.
One of my favorite scenes on Dragonball Z is when Vegeta and Goku battle the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, I found it cool and also felt goosebumps to watch this epic battle. Just recently, I bought a new RC Car toy called Tobeape RC Stunt Car to play with my cats. This video is how it goes on.
So far it is a good RC stunt car toy for affordable price of $35 which is pretty cheap in my opinion. Upon searching, it is one of the largeat battery capacity with 50 min playing time for two battery included on the box. You can watch on the vid that I was more excited tha my cats, haha. We should be thinking of a more long-term solution. The Hive community is not dumb to ignore a better solution.
If you think there is a problem with Hive, that is a really really great thing. I wish I had found more problems with hive so I can stay up late at night, trying to fix them, trying to find solutions that people never adopt, if you really see these issues, this is the perfect time to get involved and
make a name for yourself. I lived in the future where Hive is highly highly successful so what you do now will echo so if you do the same, you can be on the frontier, you can be one of the solutions, this guy really step up and come up with a noble way, give this guy an acknowledgment, give this guy a name. Don't let small problems stop you.-Dan
This is quite an inspiring word of wisdom and maybe can inspire some of the people on hive. We know that Hive was still far from perfection as we can point out some lapses and struggles while using the blockchain, we have no reason to complain and start booting our devices to find a better solution to the problem.
We are not entitled to anything, we already have the best technology and best community, what we need to do is work them out and make Hive better everyday.
