Fiercely Delegated - Episode #9

Want to add to the conversation? Join the Squad on Facebook

Today we want to dive into delegation, and giving yourself permission to do just that.

Society shows us that as women and moms and business owners we should have super powers and be able to handle it all and do it all. That is simply not true.

That woman that you are following on social media that looks like she has it all together
HAS HELP!

It isn’t something that people hide but it's also not something that we talk about either. I just don’t think it occurs to us to share that we do not do this all on our own.

Delegation can come in very many shapes and sizes

  • Kids help with chores like trash or dishes or laundry
  • Husband or Partner making dinner
  • Having someone come and take care of your yard
  • Having someone come in and clean your house
  • Having groceries delivered or even scheduled for pick up
  • Bookkeeping
  • Social Media
  • Automation set up
  • VA for all kinds of misc tasks

At the end of the day you can not grow a business if you are spending all of your time working IN the business that you don’t have time to work ON the business.

Thank you so much for listening and sharing and rating us. We would be honored if you would also take a couple minutes if you are listening on Apple podcast to write us a review.

If you are interested in learning more about how or what you can delegate of need help with automating some of your behind the scenes work you can learn more about Kari’s services at www.yourbusinessbesiteco.com

Fiercely Financial - Money Mindset Vol 4

Episode #7

Want to add to the conversation? Join the Squad on Facebook

Today in our money series Courtney is diving into all things Crypto.

SO What is crypto? any form of currency that exists digitally or virtually and uses blockchain to secure transactions. Cryptocurrencies don't have a central issuing or regulating authority. decentralized system to record transactions and issue new units.

What is a blockchain? blockchain is an online ledger shared by many parties. The ledger records and verifies transactions anonymously, but all entries are publicly visible. Once data is entered, it can’t be corrupted or altered.

So how is buying crypto different then buying stock? crypto is 24/7, crypto can be used as a currency with payments as quickly as 1-3 secs. Stocks can take 48 hours to settle.

BTC (10 years in a row it’s averaged 100-150% profit margin)

Courtney is predicting congress will pass a BTC or ETHEREUM ETF (Exchange traded fund) type of pooled investment that is like a mutual fund, but can be sold on a stock exchange. ETFs will track a particular index, sector, commodity, or other asset, but unlike mutual funds, ETFs can be purchased or sold on a stock exchange. It’s the only way banks can buy and sell as an investment.

What is an alt coin? Anything that isn’t Bitcoin, but they are all digital assets. Some are even better and faster than BTC.

NFTs? non-fungible tokens. Not like anything else. Unique. No two are the same. An NFT is proof of ownership of an asset that’s verified by a blockchain. Cryptopunks like early 2000’s DOLLZ (AOL PROFILE) $23.7 million CryptoPunk #5822 1/9 alien punks

Where to buy crypto. Platforms: Coinbase, uphold, bit true, Gemini, crypto.com, kraken (also an actual bank in Wyoming) and neighborhood Bitcoin ATMs.

They all offer staking and credit cards so you can transfer into USDC and use it anywhere. The same way you do with a square card.

USDC is insured by the FDIC up to $130 million, your fiat bank account is only insured to $250k

If you want to invest, Courtney would be happy to have that conversation with you. Thanks for listening and as always we would love and appreciate you subscring. Rating and leaving us a review.

Everyone feels financial anxiety, and can improve their mindset around money so we are going to dig in to that a little today

As women we’re conditioned to believe we’re bad at money. Bad at math. Bad at investing. Bad at saving. We buy lattes and shoes instead of houses. We are so worried about the risk involved we miss out on creating generation wealth for our families. So many of the things society tells us are simply not true.

We have seen time and time again that women make less than men in some jobs in the corporate world and that is why we are so passionate about helping women see their value what they bring to the table and taking control as a business owner or entrepreneur

Growing up we didn’t really talk about money, we weren’t taught a class in school on how to make or manage money. It was all sort of taboo like money is evil.

So how can we change our mindset around money and start shifting our internal dialogue

Kari here, for me I really try to be thankful for giving and receiving money I journal and write daily I am so thankful and grateful that money flows so easily to and from me and I pause and say thank you each time I receive it

Courtney here, I feel like I am in a good place with my money mindset because I do talk about it and I encourage my clients' friends and family to talk about it, ask questions and educate themselves on money.

1st of all buying the lattes and shoes isn’t going to derail you from a million dollar portfolio so you need to forgive yourself for your 2am online shopping sprees. Thank you amazon

SO how can we begin to build a solid financial foundation

  • Know your spending habits (categorize them - needs, wants, invest)
  • Make adjustments - 50/30/20 rule
  • Setting up a 401K
  • Have a emergency fund
  • Clear out your high interest debt
  • If your money isn’t making you money it's losing money every day.
  • Start small and be consistent

Money can be a huge block when starting a business so this is just volume 1 stay tuned for more in this series

Thanks for listening and as always we would love and appreciate you subscring. Rating and leaving us a review.

Fiercely Unapologetic #2

Want to add to the conversation? Join the Squad

Are you fiercely unapologetic or are you in a toxic relationship with the word ‘sorry’ it’s short and sweet today, but it’s time to end the relationship with saying sorry.

Ladies, saying I’m sorry makes you look weak and lacking in confidence. If you are saying you are sorry over and over then when it's time to actually apologize for doing something wrong it's going to be hard for someone to believe you.

Change your language! We encourage you to take a pause when you start to say you are sorry and consider if you have ACTUALLY done something wrong! We are not saying don’t be accountable for doing something wrong but no one expects you to be perfect all of the time. You don’t need to draw attention to yourself by leading with an apology.

Try saying, thank you so much for waiting or thank you so much for your time.

Thanks for the catch, or good call looks like an oversight on my part.

We just want to give you permission to be unapologetic, remember you are NOT intimidating but they are intimidated and other people's opinions of you are none of your business so don’t presume their thoughts and start apologizing for them.

Thanks so much for listening and if you know someone who could use a little pep talk about their relationship with apologizing feel free to share this on social and be sure to tag us @fiercelyfocused_podcast

Fiercely Intentional

Want to add to the conversation?  Join the Squad

Are you fiercely intentional with your planning and time and schedule?  In order to take control of your time and to begin to really grow and scale your business you must have intention on how you start your day.

It can be at 5am or 5pm but no matter when your day begins you should be starting it with calmness and intention and not start it with a rush and running late.

Highly recommend The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins or The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.  Both are amazing books to help you get started on creating your start of your day routine and going in to even more detail as to WHY it's so important

Thanks so much for listening and if you know someone who could use a little pep talk about their start of day routine feel free to share this on social and be sure to tag us!
