Across four episodes, this podcast series will explore ethnic underrepresentation in UK Film industry employment and along with our panel of industry personnel, we will attempt to come to a conclusion for the question: 'what actions can be taken to increase ethnic representation in UK film employment.'

List of recommended actions (in no particular order):
1.Assigned mentors for employees who fit into underrepresented groups
2.Reverse mentoring for executives to better understand the issue of underrepresentation
3.End to end training, funded by either the production fund or through governmental funding
4.Better specificity when categorising underrepresented groups
5.Mandatory data publishing, specific to roles
6.Transparency in career pathways
7.Transparency in career success
8.The adoption of inclusion training, to replace unconscious bias training
9.Diverse interview panels
10.Ensuring outreach is a key part of the recruitment process
11.Establish inclusive networks for employees
12.Whistle-blowing systems should be introduced to support victims and witnesses of discrimination within the workplace
13.Increased awareness campaigns of the effect of underrepresentation
14.Increase in opportunities to ethnic minority education, training, and loan availability for funding projects
