I truly don't think anyone else wants to see Wilmington's entrepreneurship scene grow more than Jim. Jim is constantly connecting entrepreneurs in the area, chatting with VCs for helpful content, arranging events, and sharing articles. He's doing so much for the city of Wilmington that he has even created his own business to help cities develop their entrepreneurial ecosystems. As someone who seems to have a pulse on everything business, this conversation should be nothing short of intriguing.

Lydia and I went to UNCW together. We were in similar classes as I was studying Marketing - Strategy, and she was studying Marketing - Professional Selling. Post grad Lydia had mentioned working for a student housing community, but had always aspired to be in real estate. Now that she is a realtor, she can speak on the process of getting started, and growing.

2020 Coastal Entrepreneur Award Winner, Daniel Summer and I discuss his business, Electronic Lab Logs. Electronic Lab Logs, Inc provides a cloud-based software platform that allows Hospital and other Private Laboratories to track required instrument maintenance tasks as required by CLIA and other governing bodies. Honestly, I'm not educated enough on the subject of healthcare, or cloud based healthcare systems for that matter. So the listeners and I will be both learning during this podcast.

Mental Health in the business space needs to be discussed more. We had the please of talking with Katherine Blackwell MA, LMFT, Owner of Blackwell Mental Performance.
