Okay. I’m a huge DC fan and my favorite villain from the Batman comics and movies is Joker. Let’s set aside everything we know about branding. Most iconic characters are re-branded a bunch and they can appear very different in any iteration, however, I believe Joker has a few common traits that make him a very compelling villain. These traits carry through all his iterations. So, let’s nerd out on villains!

You don’t know that each time you press enter and separate dialogue from narrative, what you are doing is paragraphing. A good twist is the hallmark of an excellent thriller. I want to say though, a good twist is great in every story, in my opinion. Even in romance, we love to get shocked by an occurrence in the story.
