The NEO Charis Podcast shares powerful stories from ministry leaders in our Northeast Ohio district of churches so that we can stay in touch and be encouraged by one another. We also listen to people working in our Charis family of churches that are good to know for what we do. One of the great benefits of Charis is that you never have to be alone as a leader – you belong to a larger family that longs for your success in ministry.

Dan Gregory is the Founder and President of Restore Addiction Recovery, a residential ministry in Lakemore, OH. This ministry is Christ Centered, Biblically Based, and Clinically Supported. Restore began in 2020 and has currently had 200 men come through the program.
Pastor Jeff Brown of Middlebranch Grace Brethren Church is finishing up his doctoral work at Grace Theological Seminary. The topic for his study is the emotional intelligence of Charis pastors. In this episode you will learn more about who Jeff is as a fellow leader and what he is learning about emotional intelligence.
Larry talks to us about his spiritual journey, how he got involved in ministry, and what Seednet is doing in Northeast Ohio. SeedNet goes into communities that are Spiritually, Emotionally, Economically, and Developmentally challenged.
Tim Hodge recently was appointed as the Fellowship Coordinator of Charis. In this interview he talks about how this change has effected him, what he likes about his experience so far, what he hopes to implement to help our fellowship, what has surprised him about his work, and how we might pray for him and Charis. - Pastor Bob Fetterhoff has served in our district for many years as the senior pastor of Wooster Grace. Here recently he has turned over the senior ministry role to another (Pastor Nick Cleveland). He is still very involved in ministry at Wooster Grace and beyond. One of the passions and experience Bob has is leading tours to the Holy Land (https://www.walkthebible.org). The previous podcast episode, S1 E5 Eric Miller, was a presentation on the basics of leadership. Eric asked Logan Cross to share his journey with the NEO leaders. Everybody has a story how God led them into leadership and this is Logan's.

Nathan Bryant is the Executive Director of Assist Church Expansion, which was started just five years ago. Our Charis Fellowship has had other national organizations that were about planting churches, but this one is a little different and made for the times we are in. Here's a good way to hear the heart behind the organization as Nathan shares the story of it's creation and what Assist is trying to do for our Fellowship.
Inspire, the Charis Fellowship organization for commissioned and ordained leaders, has recently made some adjustments and improvements in the ordination process. Christa and Alejandro Robles served on staff at the Middlebranch Grace Brethren Church. Together they started a ministry among the migrant workers in Hartville, OH. They saw the Lord work in many ways. Together they made a difference for His Kingdom! Hear their story.
Gwen and her husband Vern had good jobs in the corporate world, but then God moved in their hearts to change the destiny of young people in Cambodia. They now have a non-profit, BrightStart Learning, that brings a good education and training to disadvantaged boys and girls in a country that has ravished by war in the past. Their ability to network has pulled together critical resources and opportunities to help these young people not only receive an education, but hear the Gospel and be taught His ways.
