I'm your host, Todd Durrance, a coach to artists, a director, acting teacher, professional clown, designer, writer and sometimes I consider myself an artist on canvas. But maybe the most helpful - I’m a pastoral counselor. Having been a creative arts pastor for 8 yrs and pastoring a church plant for another 8 years, I bring a unique insight and sensitivity to creatives everywhere in their struggle to express the vision God has given them.
We talk about artistic philosophies, personal experiences, and explore the challenge of depression and setbacks in our lives.
In this episode Todd will talk about "endings", how to frame them in our favor; recognizing how God uses our endings to relaunch us. Todd discusses how our assignments have timed orbits that are not permanent and whatever God launches, He lands. And knowing this can alleviate depression or thoughts that stops you from creating new paths.
