Welcome back! These last few weeks have been a challenge for me: finishing up this semester & Jett is now on the move! In this passage we talk about the Holy Spirit and the spirit of the Antichrist.
“Let us not love in word or speech but in action & truth.” We are called to ACT for our brothers & sisters in need.
Let God’s light shine from within you, let it be so bright that others can’t help but see it.
“Kids-we are leaving in 5 minutes!” Perhaps you have heard- or even said that before. God is giving us a warning, in preparation of what’s to come because he loves us. He wants our hearts to be prepared.
Lust of the flesh- it may not be what you first assume it is. Also, this passage is a perfect recap of what we have been talking about lately: a reminder of forgiveness & to love one another.
This is the start of the book of 1 John. We are going to dive into this book over the next several days! Today’s chapter focuses on confessing your sins over to Christ. Is there something you are holding onto?
Children praise Jesus! It may look different from how we as adults praise, but it’s just as important. Speaking of children- I have some special guests this morning!
Where are you putting your faith? Is it in a relationship? Or what about a job? Mine has been in stability. Now that I’m aware- I’m ready to do better and fully surrender.
“Father to the Fatherless” what does that mean to you? He is a protector AND a provider! God in his natural habitat.
God’s grace is yours to receive, not earn. You’ve got it right now- right where you are.
“HOLY SPIRIT ACTIVATE” Sound familiar? Today we are going to talk about spiritual gifts! I did a study by Havilah Cunnington back in January about activating your spiritual gifts- and it was as so inspiring. Do you know what yours are? “Do not fear, for I am with you.” ANOTHER reminder that God has got your right hand. He will fight the battle for you.
“Fearfully and wonderfully made” is talking about you! It’s true- love yourself today. Catch up with me and enjoy a Monday minute 💓
Labor pains- have you been there? Well the Bible describes the beginning signs of the end of time as beginning labor pains. I just think it’s so fascinating and to not get hung up on the fear of the end. Labor produces the most beautiful gift, and I want us to be reminded that God’s coming back is supposed to be a beautiful rescue. However, getting to that end result is going to be messy!
There’s a well known scripture at the end of this passage, but I want us to see what lead to that verse. It might surprise you!
God calls us to give and love each other. Most of us may unintentionally judge others, but that is NOT God inside of us. We are all equal and created by God. 💙
Let’s continue in Colossians. I LOVE this passage. Chose to flourish in what God has laid out before you today & do all things for him.
Have you ever felt forgotten by God or begged for his rescue? There has been many times we’re I’ve felt like I’m treading water and I’ve cried out for help. Sometimes it may not be an immediate rescue- but this passage reminds us to rejoice in faith of our deliverance. (Family makes special appearances throughout 😂)
Naomi is bitter, her husband and her two sons have died. She tells her daughter-in-laws to go back to their own mothers. However, Ruth’s love to Naomi is untouched.
This scripture speaks on what to fill our minds with. To let go of our anxiety and to speak it over to God. Let’s rejoice & think positive thoughts!

We are touching on a heavy book today- Revelation. I hear so much that people sometimes fear this book. I know for myself- I feel so undereducated on it! It can be overwhelming, but that also keeps our awe and wonder on God.
