Jonathan Baird is a SAU Rankin College of Business alumni. He is currently the CFO of Peoples Bank and Partner and Advisor for Mustard Seed Wealth Management. Mr. Baird is also the author of a financial book called “CFO Dad”.
Natalia Mira is a SAU alumni who's currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at H.I.G Capital. Mrs. Mira has worked for H.I.G Capital, a financial company founded in 1993, for 10.5 years. Prior to working for H.I.G Capital, Mrs. Mira worked for KPMG, one of the big four accounting firms, for 10 years.
Janell Owens Morton joined the Southern Arkansas University ASBTDC as the center director in September 2017. She previously served the university as coordinator of the Golden Triangle Economic Development Council.
Morton has more than 25 years of business experience and holds a degree in business administration with a minor in accounting from SAU. She grew up working in her family’s small manufacturing business.
Previously, she spent 10 years as accounting and human resources manager for a leading specialty chemical company. A former small business owner, she also has community banking experience.
Dr. Jennifer Logan serves as the Puterbaugh Professor of Free Enterprise and the Director of the Center for Economic Education and Research at the Rankin College of Business. Originally from Oklahoma, she has been a part of SAU since moving to Magnolia in 2007. Dr. Logan teaches courses in economics and finance in the undergraduate and MBA programs.
Stephen Juma is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Rankin College of Business. His research interest lies broadly in the area of Consumer Behavior. Within Consumer Behavior, he is interested in consumer positive emotions and how those emotions affect their decisions. He also explores how marketers and policymakers use positive emotion and nudge consumers to make sub-optimal decisions.
Florence Nunn joined the Southern Arkansas University ASBTDC as a business consultant in September 2021. She previously served the area as a community and economic developer for the local planning district. In this role she secured grant funds for south Arkansas municipalities and is well-informed about economic development activities in the region.
Florence is a graduate of SAU, earning her bachelor’s in political science with a minor in business in 2015.
Nunn has a strong background in retail as well as social media marketing. She is a former social media influencer and social media manager, directing numerous influencers and businesses.
