Period symptoms can be very annoying! They can disrupt a women's day and ability to work making going into work very unpleasant!
Christina chats with her sister Lauren about the struggles women (and people with uteruses) face when it comes to their periods, their personal experiences and how often they are dismissed when it comes to their period symptoms. They discuss ways employers can improve working environments for people suffering with period symptoms and how an adjustment to the law can make a huge difference.
Christina chats with Kayleigh and Selina all about motherhood, they both open up about their experiences with this term and the sides of motherhood that often aren't spoken about. They discuss the many stigmas against women who want to put being a mother on hold and the societal pressures put on mothers and women who don't want to be mothers. These women open up an extremely important conversation, one that needs to be discussed more! They are inspiring women who advocate for choice and for women to live their lives as they choose whether that means becoming a mother, putting motherhood on hold or not becoming a mother at all! This is an extremely enlightening conversation and we hope you learn from this discussion!
TW: Discussion on mental health including post-natal mental health issues.
Christina chats to Karim aka Stormy Winture about the world of Drag and all its many elements! A topic that isn't usually discussed in much depth they dig deep and discuss what drag is and what it means to different people. This discussion is a learning experience and hopefully will open many doors to further discussion about Drag, gender, sexuality and freedom.
We hope you enjoy!
TW: Discussion on sexual assault and the occasional swear word.

These women are extremely inspiring and show their desire to continue their sporting careers with positivity and hunger despite the obstacles that come their way! There is no doubt that these woman and so many other amazing Gibraltarian sportswomen are great role models for young girls in Gibraltar. Even Joelle's dog Rocco had a lot to say during this discussion!
