Already yearning is beginning to shape us
The shores of blood open up to welcome us
We sink like dew into love
Still the shadows of time lie like queries
Over our secret.
You lovers,
Full of yearning
Hark, you who are failing with farewells,
We are those whose life is beginning in your eyes,
In your hands, who are searching in the blue air –
We are those bringing the scent of tomorrow’s dawn.
Already your breath draws us in,
Bears us down into your slumber
Into the dreams, the soil where we are planted,
Where our black nurse, the night,
Helps us grow

this beautiful poem by john o'donohue was read to me by my remarkable yoga teacher james rafael (my hero and inspiration) during a yoga class and it at once touched my heart. i am suffering at the moment. i feel terrified and unsafe. but this poem reminds me that "this too shall pass" and that i have survived things before and beauty has come out of it. i get really emotional in this one, sorry about that.

this beautiful poem was written by erma bombeck and for what my knowledge about this she was dying of cancer when she wrote this. as i was told in the early 2000's she actually survived but it is very hard to find this version on the "internet" at the moment. so i am including a link to another version of the story.
anyways, i was read this poem when i was in college taking a poetry class and it moved me to tears.

dear listener: here comes an update of where i am at in this moment of time. and a fast sweep of my growing up and some other things which lead to where i am today embracing a sober life.
this was a very unscripted telling that i created the morning of july 15th 2022 while walking through epping forest.
there is so much depth to go into that i could not go into today, but in the future there will be other episodes probably where we can go deeper.
in the next episode we will go back to poetry again. of course i do think that life is a long
beautiful poetry with all of life packed in to it. but still...next week there will be "poetry".

yesterday morning i again had a treat joining james rafael's vinyasa flow class where he read this beautiful prose/ text by w. timothy galley. and it so much connected with me that i wanted to share it with you here.
there is too an experiment in the end when i am reading my own poem from the last episode while my piano teacher jason rose created a back track on the fly during my class for my poem. i put it together yesterday, so here is first draft:)!.

since today it was 20 years ago september 11 happened with all its sadness and horrors, i wanted to tell my story from this day. i put it into context of how 2001 overall was for me and how this day changed everything for me.
i want to add that this is just my personal story and i was one of the lucky ones since i did not know anyone whom worked at the world trade centre.
