And thanks to a couple of inches, we have ourselves a Stanley Cup Final. The Avalanche scored five minutes in but a review ruled the puck left the zone and Colorado was offside. So, when the Avs scored minutes later instead of it being 2-0, it was 1-0 and Tampa Bay rallied. Now, all the Lightning has to do to hold serve is win Game 4 Wednesday at Amalie Arena.

The Stanley Cup Final gets underway on Wednesday in Colorado as the Avalanche try to prevent the Lightning from winning their third straight championship. The big question for Colorado is how much rust will it have to shake off as the Avs have been off for a long time after quickly disposing of the Edmonton Oilers. Tampa Bay has won four in a row and knocked out the New York Rangers in six games. The final contest took place Saturday so the Lightning should be sharp.

The series is tied at 2-2 but all the momentum is with the Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning. They fell behind 2-0 in Game 3 and then ran off six straight goals over the rest of that contest and Game 4 before the New York Rangers scored on a power play.
So, is it home ice or are the champions in control? Thursday at Madison Square Garden will be anxious and exciting. What could be the last home game for the Rangers could also send Tampa Bay home for Game 6 fighting for their playoff lives.
Oh, and Justin Bieber factors into this, too. The pop star has a concert scheduled for June 14 at MSG. If there is a seventh game of this series, Bieber is going to learn what it is like to be bumped.
Our NHL Expert Dana Lane has got you covered with hockey picks and the best bets for today's game 5 of the Lightning vs Rangers series.

The Lightning struck for a pair of power-play goals and scored with less than a minute left in the third period to take a 3-2 victory. The Rangers looked dazed and confused as they left the ice. Will Tampa take the momentum and tie the series in Game 4 Tuesday?
The first games of the conference finals are over and the home team held serve and found plenty of net. Colorado scored eight times against Edmonton in a goal-fest and pulled off a two-goal victory.
The New York Rangers were dominant as the Tampa Bay Lightning could not shake the rust from being off for nine days in a 6-2 loss to the Blueshirts at Madison Square Garden.

The Western Conference Final of the Stanley Cup playoffs ignites on Tuesday as the Edmonton Oilers meet the Colorado Avalanche. Edmonton ousted Calgary in the Battle of Alberta to gain this spot. The Avalanche got by the St. Louis Blues. At stake in the best-of-seven series is a spot in the Stanley Cup Final.
The Tampa Bay Lightning attempt to take their next step toward a third consecutive Stanley Cup in the Eastern Conference Final. It won’t be easy as the Lightning has lost all three regular-season meetings to the New York Rangers and the Blueshirts have home-ice advantage. Tampa Bay doused Florida in four consecutive games while the Rangers continued to be the comeback kids, downing Carolina in 7 after falling behind three games to two. This is an intriguing matchup, to say the least. Game 1 is Wednesday at Madison Square Garden.

It did not look like there would be a Game 6 when the St. Louis Blues fell behind the Colorado Avalanche 3-0 on Wednesday. The Blues called but allowed a goal late in the third period on a spectacular Nathan MacKinnon rush to fall behind 4-3. However, the road team earned another home game by scoring with the goalie pulled and getting the game-winner from Tyler Bozak in OT. It’s Friday night and you know what that means: Colorado Avalanche vs St. Louis Blues in Game 6 of their Western Conference playoff series.

As the rest of us try and get back into the swing of things after the Thanksgiving break, the NHL has been in full swing since Friday. The action continues on Tuesday with 8 games on tap. The Washington Capitals went on the road on Sunday and took down the Hurricanes to take over first place in the Metropolitan Division. They now get the chance to take down the second best team in the NHL, the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night. It is another road game for the Caps, but they will be more than ready for their second game in three days against the best teams in all of hockey.
Tuesday night also brings us the Ducks and Kings, two Pacific Division teams fighting for position in the crowded top of the division. The Sharks hit a slide a while back, but are still hanging in there. The Kings have also been playing .500 hockey, and the two teams are tied in the standings with 21 points each, three points behind Vegas for fourth, and four behind Anaheim for third. The Lightning take on the Blues on Tuesday also, as well as the Blue Jackets vs. Predators, and others. So lock in and get everything you need for the Tuesday slate of NHL games.

Twas the night before Thanksgiving and the NHL has provided us with a stacked schedule with 28 of the league’s 32 teams hitting the ice before the American turkey day festivities kick off. There are quite a few high profile games on Wednesday, but we will give you a taste of what’s on the menu. The Flyers have looked very solid lately, and they will go up against another top team in the Eastern conference when they take on the Panthers. The Panthers have been one of the top three teams in the NHL since the season began.
The Jets and Blue Jackets, as well as the Wild and Devils are two more early games that provide plenty of intrigue. The Jets and Wild are in a tight battle for first place in the Central Division, and the Blue Jackets and Devils are trying to keep pace in the Metro. The Ducks and Avalanche will meet in a battle between two of the hottest and top teams out West. The Maple Leafs head to LA to take on the Kings, who are a very fast and efficient hockey team. Get ready for Thanksgiving by relaxing by the fire and watching some NHL hockey on Wednesday.

The Carolina Hurricanes have won their first three games of a six-game road trip, and the Washington Capitals have points in their first three games of a five-game road trip, winning two and losing in overtime in the other. These two teams are atop the Metropolitan Division standings, as well as the NHL standings. The Hurricanes are 14-2, and the Capitals were 11-2-5 entering Sunday’s game against the Kraken. The Hurricanes will look to go 4-0-0 on their West Coast swing on Monday when they take on the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks were shutout 4-0 by the Capitals on Saturday night.
The Avalanche have won four in a row entering Monday, and they hope to make it five when they take on the Senators. In their last game, the Avalanche bombarded the Kraken with 7-goals in a 7-3 win on Friday night. Andre Burakovsky and Cale Makar had two goals apiece for the Avs. Other games on the NHL schedule for Monday include the Blue Jackets vs. Sabres, Golden Knights vs. Blues, Ducks vs. Predators, and Penguins vs. Jets.

The weekend is upon us once again, and the NHL schedule for Friday and Saturday gives us plenty of games to sink our teeth into leading into Thanksgiving week. Friday is light with the surging Winnipeg Jets facing the Vancouver Canucks, and the Colorado Avalanche taking on the Seattle Kraken. The Avalanche are still trying to find their groove this season, sitting at 6-5-1 entering Wednesday.
The Metropolitan Division has become the best division in all of the NHL, with six of the eight members above .500. Until the Penguins and Islanders went on their recent slide, the entire division was .500 last week. The top two teams, the Caps and Canes are on West Coast swings, with both 1-0 on the trip so far. On Saturday, the Canes take on the Kings, and the Caps are at the Shark Tank against San Jose. Other big games Saturday include the Devils at Lightning, Wild at Panthers, and Bruins at Flyers. The Wild have been rolling as of late, and the Panthers have yet to cool off from their strong start to the season.

The Thursday NHL gives us several great games that feature teams that are rolling and at the top of the NHL standings. The Rangers head North of the border to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs in a battle between two Original 6 teams. Both teams are in the top three of their divisions in the Eastern Conference and both were riding three game-winning streaks heading into Tuesday. Auston Matthews and John Tavares will try to defend home ice against Adam Fox and Artemi Panerin.
Other games on the Thursday schedule include the Lightning vs. Flyers, Jets vs. Oilers in their second game against each other in three days, Stars vs. Wild, and Hurricanes vs. Ducks. The Ducks have been the hottest team in the NHL in recent weeks, winners of seven straight as of Tuesday, and Troy Terry has a 14-game point streak to go along with 11 goals. John Gibson is finally getting some national notoriety as an elite goaltender, which has been overshadowed in recent years because of the abysmal play by the rest of the team.

The NHL schedule on Tuesday is packed with several matchups that will make you wish you had five tv’s in your house to watch them all. Working from the West Coast games back across the country to the East, the Capitals and Hurricanes begin grueling Western road swings. They both open on Tuesday, with the Hurricanes playing the Golden Knights, and the Capitals taking on the Ducks. The Canes have six games out West, and the Capitals five. Both teams will be looking to take the flight home with a suitcase full of points.
On Tuesday we also have the Flames vs. Flyers, Islanders vs. Panthers, and Oilers at Jets to name a few. The Panthers and Lightning played an overtime thriller on Saturday night, where the Lightning took the extra point. The Flyers handed the Hurricanes only their second loss of the season on Friday night. They were down 1-0 entering the third period, and they came out buzzing, scoring the tying and go-ahead goals in the first 10 minutes of the period.

The weekend slate of NHL games provides us with plenty of quality competition, and the battle of Florida on Saturday night is going to be a chippy affair. The Panthers and Lightning played each other a lot last season, and then again in the first round of the playoffs. Things got out of hand at times, but it was fun to watch. These two just don’t like each other, plain and simple. So when they hit the ice on Saturday, tune in to watch two great teams battle it out.
The Hurricanes and Flyers meet in Raleigh on Friday night, and then the Blues are in town for the Canes second game in two nights before they head out West. Two more quality teams for the Canes to take on and show that they are as good as their 10-1 record. Other games this weekend of intrigue include the Leafs vs. Sabres, and Bruins vs. Devils. There are many more on the schedule, and our experts will be here to break it all down and get you set for the weekend of NHL regular-season games.

We have a full set of NHL regular season games on Thursday, November 11th including the Oilers traveling to Boston to face the Bruins, and the Wild heading to Vegas to take on the Golden Knights.
As the NHL schedule gets ready for the weekend, Thursday gives us 11 games as an appetizer. Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid head to the garden to take on the Boston Bruins and the two first lines will be like two freight trains heading towards each other on the same track—neither wants to give way, but someone has to if they want to make it. While the Oilers have been off to a hot start, and the Bruins have not, these two teams have Stanley Cup potential and the matchup should be the highlight of the night.
Other games on Thursday include the Islanders vs. Devils, Panthers vs. Penguins, Predators vs. Blues, and Wild vs. Golden Knights. Minnesota has climbed to the top of the Central Division standings, and take on a .500 Golden Knights team. Vegas has the team to compete at the top of the Western Conference this season, especially when Jack Eichel gets healthy, but expect them to get things in order soon.

Tuesday, November 9th, and Wednesday, November 10th gives us some great NHL regular season games to look forward to. On Tuesday, we get a full slate of games, with the Hurricanes vs. Lightning early in the evening, followed by Blues vs. Jets, Sharks vs. Flames, and a battle between the last two expansion teams when the Kraken take on the Golden Nights. Speaking of the Kraken, they became the first win of the season for the Coyotes. Seattle is probably not thrilled with that being attached to their name, but congratulations to the Coyotes on finally getting their first win, in their 12th game of the season.
The Hurricanes are coming off of their first loss of the season, and it wasn’t a very pretty one either. They went down 4-0 in the first period of their game against the Florida Panthers on Saturday night. The end result was a 4-2 loss. When the Canes face the Bolts on Tuesday, it will be a rematch of last year’s playoff series that the Lightning won in five games. Wednesday we get the Leafs and Flyers, Predators and Stars, and Wild vs. Coyotes. There appears to be a couple of top teams in each conference, but there is also a large group of teams that haven’t shown us one way or another where their season is headed. Look for those teams to settle into one of those groups very soon.

We start off the weekend with five games on Friday night, with the highlight game being the Rangers traveling to Western Canada to take on the Oilers. The Rangers are off to a great start, but the Oilers are red hot, 8-1-0. Leon Draisaitll and Connor McDavid lead the league in points, Draisaitl with 20 and McDavid with 19. The duo seems unstoppable. Other games on the Friday schedule include the Blackhawks vs. Jets, Coyotes vs. Ducks, Predators vs. Canucks, and Devils vs. Kings.
Saturday night we get the game of the season so far when the undefeated Hurricanes take on the Florida Panthers. The two teams are very familiar with each other, playing in the same division last year. It was physical each time they played, and by the end of the season it was at a boiling point. But these two teams, in small markets, have put together a strong core of guys that may not be household names, but they get it done on the ice. An original six matchup is also on Saturday, with the Bruins vs. Maple Leafs. Also, the Flyers take on the Capitals, Devils vs. Sharks, Rangers vs. Flames, Islanders vs. Jets, and several more. This will be a fun weekend of hockey.

The Florida Panthers are having their best start in franchise history. They haven’t lost a game in regulation in their first nine games. The Capitals just lost their first game in regulation, and guess what? Alex Ovechkin is still an elite player. He continues to pass players on the all-time goalscorers list. He sits in 5th all-time with 739 goals, two behind Brett Hull in 4th. These two teams will be at the top of the conference all season, so tonight’s matchup could be a preview of things to come.
Other games in the East to watch are the Lightning vs. Maple Leafs, Flyers vs. Penguins, and Red Wings vs. Bruins. On the Western side of things, the Blues and Sharks will hit the ice for a battle at the Shark Tank. The Blues are flying this season, and are a lethal goal-scoring team. They have started the season 6-1, and are averaging 4.14 goals per game and only allowing 2.14. The Sharks are going to need to rely heavily on goaltender James Reimer to stop the goal-scoring Blues.

The new week is upon us, and after the weekend games we are now down to one undefeated team in the NHL, the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes are 8-0-0 after their Friday and Sunday victories, but there are plenty of other surprises around the NHL. The Detroit Red Wings and Buffalo Sabres have been two of the worst teams in the league over the last few years, but they have emerged this season as very solid teams. Buffalo sits in second place and Detroit in third, trailing only the Florida Panthers, who’s torrid start has them 8-0-1 to start the season. The Sabres take on the San Jose Sharks who are also in the mix of things in the Pacific Division.
There are a lot of worried Habs fans right now, as the Montreal Canadiens have accumulated a measly 4 points in their first ten games. They are up against the Red Wings, who we previously stated seem to have gotten things figured out. Will the Arizona Coyotes get their first win of the season in Philadelphia? The New Jersey Devils are on the West Coast to face the Anaheim Ducks, and both teams are hanging right around the middle of their respective divisions.

They say the quality is better than quantity but we say, why can’t we have it both? Well, today we’re in luck as we get two undefeated teams looking to stay that way as the Carolina Hurricanes host the Boston Bruins while the St. Louis Blues do the same with Colorado as the Avalanche tries to live up to the expectations of being top favorites to win the Stanley Cup...although from the way their season has started those NHL odds have definitely changed a bit.
Speaking of Stanley Cup winners, the Lightning managed a win after a couple of losses and now get to host the Coyotes...so just make that two in a row, or will we witness a trap game for the defending champions? With nine games on the board you definitely have to watch to see which ones offer the best value for your buck, so tag along!

After two weeks of the NHL regular season, we can see some unexpected results starting to become a trend and we can all agree that seeing, on Monday morning, the Las Vegas Golden Knights in last place of the Pacific Division is surprising, to say the least. So the crew looks ahead to another couple of action-packed days on the ice. Another team that’s struggling, and even more than the Golden Knights, is the Chicago Blackhawks, as they are still looking for their first win of the season against the Toronto Maple Leafs, after dropping their first six in a row, albeit one of them was in OT. With Toronto dropping their last three in a row, both Alex and Brian like this game to go over, whether it is for the full game or first period, for their best bets

As the season progresses, our experts have started finding more value in some “hidden gems”, a.k.a teams everyone had doubts about going into the NHL regular season. But after a couple of games, we find some value in a Bruins game, as the crew likes the under in the Bruins vs Sabres game for this Friday.
For Saturday’s NHL picks, we feature a game withArizona, as the NY Islanders continue their road trip to visit the Coyotes but, don’t worry, this is more of a “bet against a crappy team” situation so look for New York to notch the victory on the road.

It’s Thursday, October 21st, and the NHL regular season keeps on rolling as the teams have had enough time to knock off the preseason rust. Today, our experts go over their best NHL picks for some of the games this evening as we have some juicy NHL games like Avalanche vs Panthers. Catch up with the latest in NHL betting as the crew shares their best bets, NHL expert predictions, and their favorite NHL odds for this matchup of the NHL regular season.
It’s been a little over a week since the beginning of the NHL regular season and some surprises are starting to look like trends. For example, the Blackhawks were tapped to be a sneaky contender for the NHL playoffs but have yet to earn their first win of the season. They have a good chance this Thursday, at home, when they host the Canucks.
Another team that’s not living up to the bill is the Colorado Avalanche, the team tapped by the oddsmakers to be the top contender to win the Stanley Cup this season. Fast forward a week later and the team has lost two in a row after winning their season debut. The problem is that now they go on the road to face an undefeated Panthers team.

As we close in on the first week of the NHL regular season, our NHL Picks Today show continues looking to bring you the NHL games with the best value on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th. As the teams slowly start showing who’s hot and who’s not, our experts look to bank on some totals. One of the juiciest NHL games we preview takes place on Tuesday when the Islanders and the Blackhawks square off in Chicago. Both teams were seen as contenders for the NHL playoffs during the preseason but are yet to win their first game. The Islanders dropped their first two while the Blackhawks have done the same in their first three, though one of them was in overtime.
Another NHL game we look at takes place on Wednesday as the St. Louis Blues travel to Las Vegas to face the Golden Knights, another team backed by the oddsmakers to go far in the NHL playoffs. Will Las Vegas get a case of the Blues?

As the weekend rolls around the last couple of teams that haven’t played yet will be making their season debut like the Devils who host the Blackhawks. Although by the looks of New Jersey’s injury list, it seems like they started their season weeks ago. As for the Blackhawks, they’ll look to bounce back after losing their opener against the Avalanche.
Other teams will be looking forward to the end of the week as the Canucks have to play two more games on the road after losing their season opener to the Edmonton Oilers. Now, they head south to play the Penguins on Friday and, 24 hours later, the Detroit Red Wings. At least they’ll be collecting miles on their frequent flyer cards.

The NHL betting action continues this Thursday as we bring you another slate of NHL games that we preview along with our experts. After being upset in their season debut, the defending champions, Tampa Bay Lightning, go on the road looking to bounce back against a Red Wings team that’s in full rebuild mode.
As for the Pittsburgh Penguins, they look to keep their momentum going after beating Tampa Bay, on the road, despite their numerous injuries although it looks like they are headed for a trap game against the Panthers. Another great matchup will be taking place in New York as the Stars and Rangers, two very different styles of play, face each other.

The start of the NHL is just around the corner so BetUS brings you a preview of the upcoming season. In this episode, our host Brian Blessing is joined by experts Dana Lane and Alex Smith to take a sneak peek at the Western Conference and the top teams looking to make the playoffs, including the Stanley Cup early favorites the Colorado Avalanche.
The problem for Colorado is that the Las Vegas Golden Knights are right behind them in the future odds to lift the Stanley Cup. Las Vegas has a lot of young talent but that lack of experience proved to be costly during last year’s postseason. Can the West reclaim the glory after back-to-back wins by the Tampa Bay Lighting?
