1 Corinthians 12:14-26

Wednesday Evening Gathering Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier

1 Corinthians 12:14-26

When you come to Christ, your ethnicity, your sex is irrelevant. It's all equal ground. There's unity through diversity.

Matthew 20:25-28 CSB Jesus called them over and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in high positions act as tyrants over them. It must not be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Isaiah 14:12-14 CSB

Shining morning star, how you have fallen from the heavens! You destroyer of nations, you have been cut down to the ground. You said to yourself, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will set up my throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the mount of the gods’ assembly, in the remotest parts of the North. I will ascend above the highest clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

Galatians 6:1-3 CSB Brothers and sisters, if someone is overtaken in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual, restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so that you also won’t be tempted. Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone considers himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Romans 12:15 CSB Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.

Romans 15:4 CSB For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scriptures.

2 Samuel 9 CSB David asked, “Is there anyone remaining from the family of Saul I can show kindness to for Jonathan’s sake?” There was a servant of Saul’s family named Ziba. They summoned him to David, and the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” “I am your servant,” he replied. So the king asked, “Is there anyone left of Saul’s family that I can show the kindness of God to?” Ziba said to the king, “There is still Jonathan’s son who was injured in both feet.” The king asked him, “Where is he?” Ziba answered the king, “You’ll find him in Lo-debar at the house of Machir son of Ammiel.” So King David had him brought from the house of Machir son of Ammiel in Lo-debar. Mephibosheth son of Jonathan son of Saul came to David, fell facedown, and paid homage. David said, “Mephibosheth!” “I am your servant,” he replied. “Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “since I intend to show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all your grandfather Saul’s fields, and you will always eat meals at my table.” Mephibosheth paid homage and said, “What is your servant that you take an interest in a dead dog like me?” Then the king summoned Saul’s attendant Ziba and said to him, “I have given to your master’s grandson all that belonged to Saul and his family. You, your sons, and your servants are to work the ground for him, and you are to bring in the crops so your master’s grandson will have food to eat. But Mephibosheth, your master’s grandson, is always to eat at my table.” Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants. Ziba said to the king, “Your servant will do all my lord the king commands.” So Mephibosheth ate at David’s table just like one of the king’s sons. Mephibosheth had a young son whose name was Mica. All those living in Ziba’s house were Mephibosheth’s servants. However, Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem because he always ate at the king’s table. His feet had been injured.

Acts 19:11-20

Ptr. Rich Christiansen Tonight's Speaker First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Evening Gathering 5 PM

Acts 19:11-20

God allows change to keep us going.

Deuteronomy 7:6 NKJV “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.

Colossians 2:15 NKJV Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Ephesians 6:11-12 NKJV Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Luke 21:31-32 NKJV And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”

Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Philippians 1

Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Morning Gathering 10 AM

Philippians 1:3-4 NKJV I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,

We long for people that we pray for.

Philippians 1:19 NKJV For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

The joy that God gives us is other worldly.

2 Corinthians 2:3 NKJV And I wrote this very thing to you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow over those from whom I ought to have joy, having confidence in you all that my joy is the joy of you all.

Philippians 1:25 NKJV And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith,

Philippians 2:2 NKJV fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Philippians 4:1 NKJV Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

Romans 16:19 NKJV For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.

2 Corinthians 7:4 NKJV Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation.

Philippians 1:5-7 NKJV for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.

1 Peter 3:15 NKJV But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

1 Corinthians 12:13

Wednesday Evening Gathering Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier

1 Corinthians 12:13 NKJV For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.

Are you immersed into the body of Christ?

Every kind of person is in the body of Christ from every walk of life.

Galatians 3:26-27 NKJV For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

John 15:5 NKJV “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

John 17:21-22 NKJV that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

Acts 4:32 NKJV Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

Acts 9:4 NKJV Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

Acts 11:26 NKJV And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

1 Corinthians 8:12 NKJV But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.

Ephesians 3:6 NKJV that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,

Ephesians 4:2-3 NKJV with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

You can't keep any unity without love.

Ephesians 4:16 NKJV from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Ephesians 4:25 NKJV Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.

Philippians 1:27 NKJV Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

Acts 19

Ptr. Sean Daniel Meza Associate Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Evening Gathering 5 PM

Acts 19:1-9

If we don't see Jesus on other people, get your eyes back on Jesus . And help them.

The most real thing to you is what Jesus has done in your life.

Keep on walking. Don't half-step.

Romans 8:26-27 NKJV Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Be free to pray in the Spirit of God.

Revelation 21:6 NKJV And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

The Holy Spirit is with you and is in you.

The men and women of God stood for something far greater than themselves.

Matthew 7:24-27 NKJV “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

John 10:27-29 NKJV My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

Titus 3:9 NKJV But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.

1 Peter 3:15 NKJV But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

1 Corinthians 3:5-6 NKJV Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Galatians 5:18 NKJV But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Joshua 10

Ptr. Frank Mayorga Today's Speaker First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Morning Gathering 10 AM

Exodus 23:19-20 NKJV I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land.

We sometimes enter into difficult situations because of our decisions.

Jesus promised that there will be trials. He never said following Him is easy.

Sometimes we have victory, sometimes we have defeat. But Joshua never backs out of a battle.

Ephesians 6:13 CSB For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 CSB For although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, since the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments and every proud thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ. And we are ready to punish any disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

Sometimes our battles aren't on flat land, they're uphill.

Isaiah 40:28-31 CSB Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth. He never becomes faint or weary; there is no limit to his understanding. He gives strength to the faint and strengthens the powerless. Youths may become faint and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.

James 1:2-4 CSB Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

Success comes because of the Lord.

He fights for you!

Luke 22:31-32 CSB “Simon, Simon, look out. Satan has asked to sift you like wheat. But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

1 Corinthians 12

Wednesday Evening Gathering Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier

1 Corinthians 12:12-23

We're so used to individuality. We're so used to do your own thing. We're used to making a name for ourselves.

You are you but you are part of something bigger, the church.

As Christians, we must learn to get along with one another.

Hebrews 10:25 NKJV not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Do you see the body as one?

Do you see the body as the fellowship of the saints?

We are many but we are one body.

The world does not understand the term 'body'and the world does not nderstand 'church' either. We got to fit into it. We have to find our place.

Christians today who don't go to church miss out on the doctrine of church.

Sometimes if we just try where we fit in, we will never grow.

Romans 12:4-5 NKJV For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

There is a purpose for every person. God's gonna use you. There's nobody that will be left out by Jesus.

There's no perfect church.

1 Corinthians 10:17 NKJV For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.

Ephesians 1:22-23 NKJV And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Ephesians 4:4 NKJV There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;

Ephesians 4:12-14 NKJV for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

Ephesians 4:15-16 NKJV but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Acts 18:24-28

Ptr. Raul Aldaco Tonight's Speaker First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Evening Gathering 5 PM

Acts 18:24-28 NKJV Now a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things of the Lord, though he knew only the baptism of John. So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. And when he desired to cross to Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him; and when he arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace; for he vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.

When we fall upon something recurring, it is the Lord trying to speak something to us.

The Holy Spirit involves Himself in people's lives.

We can all have a profound impact in the kingdom of God.

We don't need Christian celebrities.

Never stop learning. Always learn how to communicate. Learn from others. Learn to speak with and to other people.

"The moment you stop learning is the moment you start dying."

Always keep learning.

Strive to be able to communicate the Word of God effectively.

Romans 12:9-11 NKJV Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord

Apollos was fervent in spirit, bold and accurate.

Philippians 1-4

Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Morning Gathering 10 AM

Greetings and well-wishing is important.

The world loves peace. Everyone loves encouraging words.

The greetings given is a greeting from God.

Colossians 1:1 NKJV Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

1 Corinthians 1:2 NKJV Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Do you see yourself as a servant of Jesus Christ? A bondservant becomes a slave for life.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NKJV Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 NKJV Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

A lot can be seen when we double up with someone else. Te double up effort that Paul shows in Philippians was taught by Jesus.

Luke 10:1-3 NKJV After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.

Hebrews 10:24 NKJV And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

Revelation 14:13-17 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Titus 1:4 NKJV To Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

1 Corinthians 12-14

Wednesday Evening Gathering Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier

1 Corinthians 12:10 NKJV ...to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues

Tongues are something that God wants to say.

1 Corinthians 12:11 NKJV But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

The gifts are the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of the believer. There should be the evidence of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 13:1 NKJV Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

Tongues can be a heavenly tongue or an earthly tongue.

The gifts must be used to edify the church.

Acts 2:1-7 NKJV When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans?

1 Corinthians 14:2-5 NKJV For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.

1 Corinthians 14:14 NKJV For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.

Acts 18

Bro. Rick Solario Tonight's Speaker First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Evening Gathering 5 PM

The enemy brings doubt and fear to our mind and these are lies.

An evangelist has the gift of giving the message of God by piercing the heart and conscience and causes the listeners to make a decision for God.

Drawing strength from one another is important.

A dream is when God shows you something when you are asleep and a vision is when God shows you something when you are awake.

The darts of the enemy are fear, unsure, doubt, and other deceitful thoughts.

Fear and doubt are real. God always comes through!

You want God's agenda all the time.

There's no room for fear in the believer.

1 Corinthians 12:10

Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Morning Gathering 10 AM

1 Corinthians 12:10 NKJV to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

In the world that we're living in is not just the physical world that we're living in. All around here is a spiritual world that we can't see that is affecting the world that we're living in.

Lying spirits can deceive. Christians can listen to something and be deceived.

The discerning of spirits is sometimes a quiet gift. Sometimes we do not just have to say what's going on but know what's going on.

Ephesians 6:12 NKJV For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Acts 16:16-18 NKJV Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” And this she did for many days.

But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.

1 John 4:1 NKJV Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Philippians 2

Wednesday Evening Gathering Bro. Frank Mayorga Tonight's Speaker First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier Sept. 1, 2021

Philippians 1:21 NKJV For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Philippians 1:27 NKJV Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

Philippians 2:1-4 CSB If, then, there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, make my joy complete by thinking the same way, having the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others.

In the church, there should be unity. The church should be seeking out for what's best for others.

The test of the submissive is not only what you're willing to take in terms of suffering but what we are willing to give in terms of suffering.

Hebrews 4:14-16 NKJV Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus doesn't just sympathize with us - He provides encouragement, comfort, love, affection, fellowship and mercy.

Acts 17:16-34

Bro. Rich Christiansen Tonight's Speaker First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Evening Gathering 5 PM

Acts 17:16-34

Acts 17:15 NKJV So those who conducted Paul brought him to Athens; and receiving a command for Silas and Timothy to come to him with all speed, they departed.

One man sharing the Gospel can be as powerful as any team you send.

Joshua 1:9 NKJV Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Mark 3:5 NKJV And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

John 2:15 NKJV When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers’ money and overturned the tables.

Ephesians 6:12 NKJV For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Romans 1:22 NKJV Professing to be wise, they became fools,

Know your audience.

1 Kings 8:27 NKJV “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

God is not unreachable.

Judges 3:31 NKJV After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who killed six hundred men of the Philistines with an ox goad; and he also delivered Israel.

2 Kings 6:16-17 NKJV So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Ephesians 2:19 NKJV Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

Acts 1

Ptr. Rich Aldaco Today's Speaker First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Morning Gathering 10 AM

Jesus forewarns His disciples of the persecutions coming to them as He prepares to leave them.

John 16:33 NKJV ... In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

We are having trouble in our world. These troubles are nothing like we've ever seen before. And on top of our world troubles, we also have our inner troubles.

He has chosen the bride/body to live out and be radical and to continue to permeate society with the truth of God's Word. This world and its trials never last but the Gospel has outlasted them all.

2 Peter 1:3 NKJV as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

John 18:36 NKJV Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”

The loss of Jesus from the disciples was only the beginning of transformation to and from mankind for 2000 years.

Acts 1:4-5 NKJV And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Inspite of all the trouble the disciples encountered, Jesus shows up to them. This tells us that whenever there's trouble in our lives, Jesus will show up.

Acts 1:8 NKJV But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

The fellowship received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The miracles that flowed through Jesus are now flowing through the disciples as they lived radical in their calling.

1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Acts 6:1 NKJV Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution.

Acts 9:3 NKJV As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven.

Acts 8

Acts 8:4-6 NKJV Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy and he wants us to get off track.

Ephesians 4:26-27 NKJV “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.

May we see what we don't see and understand what we don't understand by a spiritual gift called the discerning of spirits.

John 21:12 NKJV Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord.

1 Corinthains 12:9-10 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

Discerning means verbal disputation according to the Greek translation. It also means judicial estimation.

Ephesians 6:12 NKJV For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Hunches and intuition are not the gift of discerning of spirits. Having human instinct is so close to the gift of discerning of spirits that you think you have it. Yet instincts are not always right.

We must practice our spiritual gifts with a loving heart.

If you get the Word into you, you will be a better discerner.

Acts 13:10 NKJV And said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord?

John 21:28 NKJV And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

Acts 16:7 NKJV After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them.

Acts 17:10-16

Ptr. Sean Daniel Meza Assistant Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Evening Gathering 5 PM

Acts 16:22-24 NKJV Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to be beaten with rods. And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely. Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.

As the truth of Jesus and His Word were brought forth, people came to believe. The disciples' efforts were fruitful. And God can use you even your small efforts.

The powers of the people that are ruled by darkness has been said in God's Word but you and I must remain faithful and speak the truth of His Word. We must tell the truth of what we have discovered that is relevant to today.

John 10:10 NKJV The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

The truth has to be told and we have to give the balance. We have to share the truth.

We will not be put to shame by Jesus.

Research and study to show yourself approved to know what is truth just as it says in the Word of God so yo uwon't be fooled by the world.

The men of God in the Bible made mistakes too but we have to learn from them. We have to led by God more than ever these days.

Galatians 1:8 NKJV But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

James 1:2-4 NKJV My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Matthew 5:10 NKJV Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

2 Timothy 3:12-15 NKJV Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Shine your light for Jesus.

Ephesians 5:11 NKJV And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

You have to stand and seek God out in His Word.

Acts 28:3 NKJV But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

Let us in these days be guarding our hearts and minds and be equipped by renewing our minds.

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Luke 24

Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Morning Gathering 10 AM

Luke 24:49-53

God made a promise to pour out His Holy Spirit. Being endued with the Holy Spirit is included in the "Go ye in to the world..." commission. When a person is worshipping God, you get a sense of God's hand upon you - a hand of power. To be able to minister, you need the supernatural presence of God.This power is from on high.

Being born again means born from above according to John 3.

Jesus is beyond all of the heavens.

Hebrews 7:26 NKJV For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

Acts 1:11 NKJV who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Acts 1:3 NKJV to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

There is not just a spiritual knowledge, but an emotional response of God.

The Lord has roadsigns. He has people to see for Him and not just for you.

Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

The safest place in the world is in the will of God.

Mark 16:7 NKJV But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

Isaiah 30:21 NKJV Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.

Wednesday Evening Gathering Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier

Your soul is who you are. Your mind is part of you. It gets affected by people and environment as well as situations and trials.

Mental health needs to be fine-tuned, cleaned up and defragmented. You need to pour your heart unto the Lord.

We need to keep on praying. We have to recognize.

We have to be careful and alert as to what comes into our heart.

1 Peter 2:11 NKJV Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,

We are fallen and we are under attack.

Matthew 15:19 NKJV For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.

God has a better plan for us.

Psalm 50:17-23 NKJV Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you? 18 When you saw a thief, you consented[c] with him, And have been a partaker with adulterers. 19 You give your mouth to evil, And your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother’s son. These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, And set them in order before your eyes. “Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.”

When we hear the counsel of the Lord and take it to heart, we will find gradually the healing of the mind.

Colossians 2:20-23 NKJV Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations— “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” which all concern things which perish with the using—according to the commandments and doctrines of men? These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Colossians 3:1 NKJV If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

You stay in church, prayer and service of God and you'll find along the way God gives you keys.

Romans 7:17-20 NKJV But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.

Psalm 119:165 NKJV Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NKJV For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

There is mental healing through prayer, through Bible Study, through praise.

Ephesians 4:27 NKJV nor give place to the devil.

Acts 17

Ptr. Raul Aldaco Tonight's Speaker First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Evening Gathering 5 PM

Acts 17

It's ok to stand against wrong doing

Luke 4:18 NKJV “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;

Acts 9:15-16 NKJV But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. 16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”

We're living in time of radical culture. Everything is radical. Everything is crazy.

It's important that we speak the truth in love and wisdom. We have to maintain the main thing - Jesus.

It's okay to be radical in a radical culture.

Romans 10:1-4 NKJV Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Paul just goes with the flow to share the Scripture.

Wherever the Lord places a burden in your heart, do what the Lord calls you to do.

Whatever the Lord places in your heart, don't doubt it. Just flow with it.

When we're living radical, there will be impact.

Whatever we are burdened to speak for Christ, we need to know what we are talking about.

2 Timothy 2:15 NKJV Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Things might get in the way, but God always gets His way.

2 Timothy 3:12 NKJV Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

It is Biblical for us to be persecuted. Anybody who lives godly in Christ will be persecuted.

John 18:33-36 NKJV Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus answered him, “Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?” Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?” Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.”

Luke 24:17 NKJV And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?”

Hope delayed makes a man's heart sick.

For all of us, Jesus appears in a different form. We may the only Jesus the world sees.

Jesus comes alongside.

If you've got some emotional upheaval going on inside of you: 1. Jesus notices 2. Fellow Christians should be discerning enough to ask

This world will pass away and the forms of it, also its belief systems. But Jesus and His kingdom will remain, no doubt.

Matthew 10:28-31 NKJV And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

No matter what you're fearful about, God cares. He comes alongside of you.

Psalm 61:2 KJV From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Crying has to do with emphatic and tearful prayer - that you are crying out unto the Lord.

The Scriptures deal with mental health.

How do get unstuck? How do we rewind? A lot of it comes from honesty.

How can the Lord get into the deepest and darkest part of the mind? And train our hands for war on that issue that we are broken in. That brokeness can be temporary or turn into bitterness or tragedy.

1 Peter 5:7 NKJV casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

If you're behaving weak, sometimes the devil will act upon that weakness. The Lord wants us to resist the whisperings of the devil.

Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We should be around those that have the mind of Christ and we must desire the mind of Christ.

1 Samuel 30:6 NKJV Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.

To encourage means to put courage into yourself.

God is doing a restoration process. It may not be instant but it may be done little by little.

There is an answer for us and even there is none, there is still hope. Jesus is our hope. God is the God of hope.

Psalm 114:15 NKJV Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is the Lord!

God has begun a good work in you and He is not finished yet.

If you realize that the Lord is for you and not against you, you don't overjudge yourself.

Luke 24:13-35

Has Jesus become clearly seen to you? How distinct is your vision of Jesus?

We can't just go on with our lives when we've been born again and when we belive that Jesus was raised from the dead. We have to know more. We have to know His marching orders.

Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Galatians 3:1 NKJV O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?

It's very important that we have a picture of Jesus in our mind.

May the Lord open our eyes for us to see the resurrected Christ revealed to us.

Ask the Lord for help in understanding the Word of God.

God appears in a different form after the resurrection. We have to open our eyes to the Word of God.

Acts 16:35-40

God's Word gives us balance - the alance to stand and not back down.

If we're not careful when can be so passive that the adversary can have a field day on us - in our family, church, etc.

There will always be a daybreak. Daybreak is about to come.

Paul wanted to tell the magistrates what wrong they did. He protested the idea of just sweeping it under the rug.

You stand up when the Lord's leading you to stand up.

We will all face moments in life with injustices and there will be times when the Lord tells us to let it go and times that God tells us to stand.

When we let our voice be heard, it sets the precedents for the world to know that we won't just sit back.

Paul established a threshold of what will later be the standard telling that Christians cannot be bashed.

There's always a bigger picture than our person or pride if and when we come under assault, ridicule or attack. There's always a bigger picture.

Learn and practice to be an encourager. Always encourage.

Luke 24:1-14

God used angels to answer the questions the women had at Jesus' tomb. The angel reminded them of Jesus' words.

We can search the Word of God and find the questions of our heart - the things that we doubt about.

God loves giving answers to the big questions.

Acts 20:13 NKJV Then we went ahead to the ship and sailed to Assos, there intending to take Paul on board; for so he had given orders, intending himself to go on foot.

When your spirit is communing with the Lord, God is dropping things into your inner man.

Malachi 3:16 NKJV Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name.

Isaiah 55:6 NKJV Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

The Lord hears. The Lord knows. He draws near to you in those conversation in the heart you struggle with

1 Corinthians 12

Wednesday Evening Gathering Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier

1 Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

What is a miracle? What is the difference between a miracle and a healing?

You are a miracle. Everything around us is a miracle.

The same Jesus that touched people is living inside of us and we are the body of Christ.

We will not just know the Saviour but the God of miracles as well.

1 Corinthians 12:11 NKJV But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

In order to be used by Jesus, we need to have some gifts. Every Christian is a servant and must minister to people.

There's wisdom and there's healing. God works through wisdom and God works also through healing. And if we have a lack of wisdom, we may not be healed.

Matthew 15:30-31 NKJV Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them. So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

Acts 3:6-8 NKJV Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.

Mark 6:12-13 NKJV So they went out and preached that people should repent. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.

You don't have a supernatural God to believe in if you don't believe in healings and miracles.

Mark 16:15-18 NKJV And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Luke 9:1-6 NKJV Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece. “Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

Luke 10:9 NKJV And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

Acts 4:29-30 NKJV Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

Acts 5:14-16 NKJV And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

Acts 10:34-38 NKJV

Acts 19:11-12 NKJV Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

James 5:14-18 NKJV

A miracle is where God breaks past the natural laws of the world. The miracle is the evidence of God's kingdom eing among His people.

Matthew 11:2-6 NKJV And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

God does use ordinary believers.

Luke 24

Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel - Whittier Sunday Morning Gathering 10 AM

Luke 23:55-56

Luke 24:1-9

A lot of times God has purposes and plans and things that surprise us. The women that came to the tomb had expectations that were incorrect and realized after they saw the stone rolled away. God's plans have already been done when you get into it. God has it already figured out. We have to let God show His best.

When there's a lie, there will be information around it that make it sound true. If God has moved upon your heart to be a believer, you're going to recognize the difference between truth and error. But if yo uare a person that gets caught up i nthe world and notrealize how deceitful it is, then it will make sense to you and you go with that and you will miss out on a great life and eternity.

Matthew 28:11-15

In the end times, there will be a lot of deception. I nthis time the separation between the sheep adn the goats becomes clearer to the believer.

John 11:47-54

Even behind the scenes of Jesus' death, there was plotting. In today's world, whether it be government or religious communities, all these things are just modern-day pictures of what took place back then and of the world we live in today. We've gotta be able to navigate the truth in the midst of our lives.

The world is full of lies. The Bible is the TRUTH. The world should not be our focus, but marching to His drumbeat needs to be our focus. That is heart is beating for souls.

1 Corinthians 12

Wednesday Evening Gathering Ptr. John Schaffer Senior Pastor First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier

We go from faith to faith to faith. We're moving forward by faith. There is something about faith that affects the NOW and ETERNITY.

There are works of faith that comes from us that agrees to what God says about salvation.

Every man is given a measure of faith.

Faith comes from God. God wants us all to be used by Him.

Faith should not have an endpoint, it should have a constancy.

What God has promised, He will do. He will come through. The reliable source is God Himself.

Faith is looking past our personal trials and seeign what God says is coming.

is your faith affecting the kingdom? family? future? personal life?

Romans 4:5 NKJV But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,

Romans 1:17 NKJV For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

The biggest way that we can practice faith is to prayer because it is when we ask God to do something and we believe in God.

Sometimes we just need to pray or speak because of the word of faith.

Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking.

Faith is strength.

God is concerned of how a problem is preparing you in life for the future and eternity.

Don't hold yourself back for the truth and from the truth. Keep advancing the good.
