On this mind boggling episode, we mentally prepare ourselves for the upcoming Canadian winter and review Netflix’s “All the Bright Places”. I contemplate whether adrenaline is better than heroine or vice versa and we talk about how mental health is portrayed in movies & media as well. Bella and I reminisce about my brief TikTok career, us drunkenly eating Cunningham's cakes and Britney Spears while I almost burp up the fried rice I ate for lunch.
On this episode, we review “The Trial of the Chicago 7”, talk about how wild the world is and come to the realization that we’re still living in the 1960s. Bella and I get confused about world history, contemplate Netflix’s low casting and editing budgets; I decide that Hollywood is dead. While on a tangent: a ghost knocks over my phone, the UBER Eats guy interrupts us with our dinner and I directly call out the Quebec Premier Francois Legault. We share our outlooks on what Christmas should be like while ending this week by paying respects to the late Bob Marley.
Bella and I rave over “The King of Staten Island”, we ramble about new music, rekindle our love for One Direction, I recall one of my most embarrassing Halloween costumes then we go off about Taylor Swift’s hair and discography. Later, Bella claims she knows where to get Montreal’s best poutine, we discuss our experience eating oily sponge and contemplate whether butternut squash is a fruit or a vegetable.
After taking a week off, we are psyched to be back! Along with our movie review on "Inheritance", we gab about the Ted Bundy Biopic, new Canadian music, Bella mixes up her English and French while I flat out fail to pronounce words. We discuss Matthew McConaughey, Queen Latifah and how serious mental illnesses are. I then share my latest skincare discovery and rant about why societal norms are trash. We top it all off with obsessing over raspberry fudge cheesecake and other dairy products while also quoting Beyoncé.
