Samantha Sherman is a recent graduate from the University of San Francisco with a Master in Urban Education and Social Justice. She shares with us what inspires her in teaching.
Bernice Ramos Teaches Math and she graduated from the University of San Francisco with a master in Urban Education and Social Justice. She is going to share with us her joy of teaching Math and how she sees Math as a language people made to communicate how to build houses and count money.
Zakiya graduated from Mills College in Oakland, California in 2018. During her first year, she taught U.S. History, World History, and an after-school support class called Bridge. She is now part of the Universal 9th grade program (this is its third year operating) and she teaches Ethnic Studies in the first semester and Social Living (Sex, Drugs, Mental Health) in the second semester.
Genevieve Mage teaches English and she graduated from the University of San Francisco with a master's in urban Ed and Social Justice. She is going to share with us her journey into becoming the first to teach her very own mythology class at Berkeley HS.
