The last thing Saturday Stevens saw during her first night as a superhero was a train full of toxins and a dangerous person taking them. Whether she likes it or not, now she’s involved in this dance between Nimbus and Infrared, and she’s got to join in as well. It won’t be easy, though - with the press wondering who this new super could be and a struggle to control her new powers, Saturday’s got a whole lot on her hands. Will she be able to help Nimbus figure out Infrared’s plan? Will she ever get a hold of this lightning thing? And will her nosy best friend stop trying to figure out who this new superhero is? All we can say for sure is that this junior’s in for some inclement weather.

All Saturday Stevens wants to do is get out of Felonsville. It’s what she’s been preparing for for years. In a city where the crime rate is the highest in the country, she’s somehow managed to avoid getting into trouble, and until she’s gone, she’s determined to keep it that way. What she hasn’t counted on is accidentally discovering the identity of local superhero, Nimbus - and imminently being recruited as his new sidekick. Within moments, Saturday is whisked into a secret life she never wanted, alongside the hero who looks and sounds exactly like and her frazzled English teacher, Edison Eacker (likely because… well... they’re the same guy). Can she balance being a superhero AND sticking to her plan of avoiding this city’s problems? It’s a fair toss-up, but the odds of things staying the same are about as likely as being struck by lightning.
