Hello my dear hivers. How are you all doing today ?. Today has been quite stressful for me but I'm happy it turned out good. I spent most of the week thinking of the song I would perform and getting everything set for it.

The theme of this week is "tevazu" suggested by one of the wonderful singers of this community @okayozdemiroglu. In English it means "humility - Modesty" and so I will be doing a song titled Humble yourself by Destined kids. I chose this song because it matches perfectly with the theme and it conveys a strong message which says "if you humble yourself, God will lift you up".

It wasn't really easy for me to get a song that would match the theme, I went through my music library but found no song. I thought deeply of a song but couldn't get anyone.

While I continued thinking of a song to perform, few days ago, this song just came to my mind. Its an old song, it's one of the many songs that we were taught as kids. It was one of the ways they instilled the virtue of humility in us. As we know pride comes before a fall but humility brings favour.

This song is a short one and it emphasizes how if you humble yourself, God will lift you up. Since it's a song I use to sing when I was a kid and it's a song children loves, I had to invite some of my little friends/students to join me in doing the song. They were so happy to join and we really had fun. I had fun too and memories of my childhood came to my mind again.

I urge you not to just enjoy the rythm of sound of the song but also pay attention to the lyrics. It's simple but powerful. Let's be humble, let's try not to let pride control our lives. If you humble yourself, God will lift you up.

El tema de esta semana es "tevazu" sugerido por una de las maravillosas cantantes de esta comunidad @okayozdemiroglu. Elegí esta canción porque encaja perfectamente con el tema y transmite un fuerte mensaje que dice "si te humillas, Dios te levantará".

No me resultó fácil conseguir una canción que encajara con el tema, busqué en mi biblioteca musical pero no encontré ninguna. Pensé profundamente en una canción pero no pude conseguir ninguna.

Mientras seguía pensando en una canción para interpretar, hace unos días, me vino a la mente esta canción. Es una canción antigua, es una de las muchas canciones que nos enseñaron de pequeños. Era una de las formas de inculcarnos la virtud de la humildad. Como sabemos, la soberbia precede a la caída, pero la humildad favorece.

Esta canción es corta y enfatiza cómo si te humillas, Dios te levantará. Como es una canción que solía cantar cuando era niño y es una canción que les encanta a los niños, tuve que invitar a algunos de mis pequeños amigos/estudiantes a unirse a mí para hacer la canción. Estaban muy contentos de unirse y nos divertimos mucho. Yo también me divertí y los recuerdos de mi infancia volvieron a mi mente.

Os animo a que no os limitéis a disfrutar del ritmo del sonido de la canción, sino que prestéis atención a la letra. Es sencilla pero poderosa. Seamos humildes, tratemos de no dejar que el orgullo controle nuestras vidas. Si te humillas, Dios te levantará.

Good day lovely hivers and Music lovers. Welcome once again to hiveopenmic week #125. I am so excited to be here once again. It's fun here and I know we all love it.

Today, for the theme "Nothing is impossible", I chose a song by a Nigerian gospel artist called Sinach. The title of the song is "All things are possible".

I am a Christian and I believe in Jesus. I also believe all things are possible with God. Humans are mere mortals and our powers are limited but God's powers are infinite.

Because of this fact, I look up to God for everything because I know nothing is impossible for him.

Humans can disappoint because they're just humans so we have to put our trust in God. I encourage you reading this post to also put your trust in God because nothing is impossible for him.

Hello my dear hivers. How are you all doing today ?. I am so happy that I am finally participating in this week's community concert. Getting a song to match the theme "moonshine" was really difficult for me. I thought about different songs but I really didn't like any of them. Few days ago, while I was still thinking of the song to perform for the week's concert, I remembered a movie I had seen a long time ago. The title of the movie is "*Joyful Noice". It is a beautiful movie and was one of my favorite too( you could check it out). The movie is about a music choir and one of the reasons I loved the movie was because of this beautiful song that was sang in it. The song aligns perfectly with the theme sunshine and my heart was finally at rest after I found it. I will be doing the song today and I know you will love it.

The song was done by Dolly Parton and the title of the song is from here to the Moon and back. It's a love song and is so soothing to the heart. It's one of those songs you can sing to your loved ones and to make them understand how much you love them. Hello lovely hivers. How are you all doing today ?. Today has been really hectic for me but it turned out well at the end. All through the week, I have been practicing the song I would perform here and I also spent most of today recording the song. For the theme of this week "A BETTER WORLD FOR ALL" suggested by one of the great singers in the community @daniky, I will be doing a reggae song by the legendary reggae singer BOB MARLEY. The song is a classic and it's my favorite reggae song so I was really excited doing it. I even had to add some beats with my drum sticks.

I chose this song because I believe that to make a better world for all we need love.

We all know that without love we cannot have unity and progress, and without love we cannot make a better world for all.

This singer here talks about how we need to stop fighting then come together and live in love so we would be alright.

I was really happy to do this song. I think it's perfect for the theme "a better world for all".

So as we go about praying and wishing for a better world, let us all understand that the answer to a Better world for us all is ONE LOVE.

The week's theme is "Emotion" and I chose to perform this very emotional song "Heal the world" by Michael Jackson because its a song with a message for us all, and I think we all need to listen to it at this time when there so much wars and chaos in the world and the world is being wounded daily.

The song Heal the world is a very emotional song with a rythm and lyrics that penetrates the heart. It was released in the year 1992 and contains antiwar lyrics. Its a song for humanity and it has a strong message. It talks about the need for us to heal this wounded world and make the world better for us all

It talks about how we can heal the world and end people's pains, suffering and anger through love. It admonishes us to spread love and not hate and to love one another. It tells us that one way we can show that we love and care for humanity is to try to make the world a better place

It motivates us to care for those in need, to stand against wars and chaos, to take care of our environment and the earth. It talks about love, unity, equality and peace.

Good day lovely hivers and Music lovers . I hope you all are doing well today.

I'm really excited to participate in this week's

music event and I find the theme really fascinating. The theme amor de familia means family love in English.

As we all know family is everything. There is nothing as great as family. The main core of family is love and I would want to have us know that family isn't just people with whom we are related by blood or social institution. Family are also those people that love you and wants the best for you. Family are those people you have in your life and also wants you in their lives. Family are those people that wants to see you smile. Family is love.

I am a teacher and I teach children. I consider the children I teach as family and I had even planned to do my next performance here with my kids. It is one of the reasons I finally had to do this song as I knew my children would love it. When I heard the theme "family love", what came to my mind was this song we teachers always sing with their pupils. It's a very popular song and we all know it and sang it as kids.

This song originated from a children tv show called Barney

To do this song I had to invite the lovely pupils I teach to join me. They were so excited to join in the presentation and they loved the song. They helped me suggest the second song.

Although the performance is a bit shabby, I had to post it just to make these kids happy.

They really put in so much effort and they wish to have people watch them. You will see how excited they are when you watch the video.

These kids are now more than just students but also family. We love each other so much.

Few days ago, their parents wanted to have me sacked because I made some mistakes but these kids pleaded on my behalf. They begged their parents not to let me go.

I then realize how much they love me and have taken me as part of them. They're indeed family and I love them too.

I'm really happy to do this with them. Although it's not perfect, I love that I let them do it with me. This is just another memory we have created and we would one day look back to these times and laugh at how we sang.

These kids and I also believe so much in Jesus Christ. He is part of our family and he loves us too and that's why they chose the second song.

Good day lovely hivers and music lover. I hope you all are doing well. This is my first time in this community and I'm super excited to be here.

I had watched some videos in this community and I must say that it's really fun and interesting here.

If you have noticed, my name is @Luckydrums and yes, I play drums. I love music so much and although i do not have a wonderful voice, i love to sing too. I hope to improve myself through this platform and community. I also hope to inspire and bring happiness to other hivers here.

This song happens to be one of my favorite. It has a way of soothing the soul. It is a song of encouragement and it informs us of the fact that in this world troubles are bound to come and instead of us to worry and frown, we should rather be happy and not kill our joy because worries do not solve problems but makes the trouble double.
