Long time no talk- I know I know I promise I'm going to be doing better. School has been stressful but fun so I haven't had all the time in the world to record. But other than that, I always feel like I plato when I get to a certain point in an experience and I am really feeling it now and felt the need to come on and talk to yall about it. So here it is!
WELCOME TO COLLEGE!!! the best 4 years of your life. It can be a bit scary, believe me, I know, but you will get through it and have such a great time. Heres some advice to help you get through this time of learning to grow into yourself and how to survive the next couple of years.
learning to grow up is learning to find the beauty in independence. Never again are we going to be this young and have everything we can ever dream of available to us at our fingertips. I left everything and fell in love with independence and growing into myself and experiencing new things and this episode is about how I fell in love with it.
You know when you start to feel everything crumbling around you and it feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and then everything comes to a halt and you finally let the tears roll and they don't stop rolling? well, that's what this episode is about. So cheers to the car mental breakdowns and the rants that seem to never end and always remember that someone is in your corner looking out for you no matter what.
I was bullied in high school and it broke me to the point of isolating myself and feeling so alone and hurt I didn't know what to do. When covid hit, I took that as my way out and started to focus on myself. It allowed me to grow and start healing and start loving myself for who I am not for who others say I am.
two of my best friends nat and mia came to visit me this past week and as usual, we spent the time filling each other in on our lives and asking for any form of advice, so we decided to give you some of the best advice we have heard.
