In this Podcast, Creating Your Artist Statement for your Current Body of Work, goes into a deeper detail on how important it is to create your Statement before you begin your artwork. I feel it is critical you know what you want to say, say it in a way the is passionate to you as the artist before you can convey your thoughts to your audience. Many times, we as artists get LOST in the painting and forget why we are even creating our series. By having this planned out and our thoughts embedded into a statement, we have a roadmap so to say!!

In this podcast I talk about the book "Art & Fear" by David Bayles an Ted Orland and give my commentary about Fear in the Art process.  I also talk about some of my life experiences as an Artist.

Fear can be one of the things that cause an artist to "QUIT" their journey.  In my opinion, STOPPING is just a pause and can actually be helpful if you go BACK to your journey of painting, or whatever your art is.

I hope you enjoy this podcast and thank you for joining me.

I have done a lot of thinking about the Creative Process for Artists, so I have developed a Creative Journey Process that helped me go fro ZILCH to START in my Creative Journey.

The creative process is, in the simplest of definitions, the process of an taking ideas from zero “zelch” into conception through a progression of defined actions. The creative process takes ideas and creative thinking and turns these ideas or thinking into a creative product that is more focused within a planned artistic journey. Whether you are an artist, a musician, or writer, it is all this artistic journey when it comes down to the product we create.

In this Podcast, I talk you through my thoughts on how I migrated the Creative Process and share with you an actual model you can use to help you be successful!
