We have to be intentional about creating an environment that is safe for our spouses, significant others, and friends to share their hearts about the tough conversations that need to be had. The last thing you want is for people to shut down communication because it is not a safe place. That will lead to the enemy talking to your boo and you don't want that.

You can't try to develop every area around the one that you are dysfunctional in or that you suck at and expect the dysfunctional area to get better. You have to get your help, coaching, training, therapy, and/or counseling in that area that even your family and friends, and accountability partners know you suck in. First of all, who is the (they) in your life? Who told you that you would not be able to change the thing that you have been doing, or the way you've been acting, or the things that you are addicted to, or what you have been watching that has gotten you off course? Who are they to say that you can't change? Maybe it's the theys that don't want to change.

Trying to take care of multiple households, spending all your resources, covering lie after lie, falling in love with stuff, they make me feel good, running from place to place, stressing yourself out, putting your blessings before the blesser, you don't have time for your family, your possessions come before anything, you become the center of your life, you EGO (edging God out) has become the most important thing. When most people think of adultery it is always in the context of sex. In the bible God calls the children of Israel adulterous. That means that adultery is not just about sex. It is the unfaithfulness that we as people do toward God. When we lust after stuff and put people, places, things, and habits before God we are committing adultery. God looks at it just same as sleeping with another man or woman that is not our spouse.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknow languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!
Three things will last forever-faith, hope and love-and the greatest of these is love.

God so loved the world that he gave! The word love is thrown around so much these days that it's losing the true essence of the word. Love is an action word. When someone says that they love you; you should be able to tell in their action towards you. True love gives to you in the way that you need it, not in the way that they want to give it.

Sometimes you have to be smart enough to run away from that person or situation or entanglement that is trying to take you out. The enemy is trying to kill, still and destroy you! Destroy: put an end to the existence of (something) by damaging or attacking it

I know how it is to be listening to the preacher, reading and meditating on God's word and it seems that everything or at least the most important things that matter to you are going in the opposite direction. You feel like you are praying but the prayers are going in reverse. When that happens, we can say, "the heck with this God stuff! I can do bad all by myself!" So, we stop listening and go our own route. We get off of the road that God says to stay on. If you have strayed off the righteous path, you can get back on again and God will show up right where you are.

Getting physically fit is good. But what this world and the enemy are going to throw at you and I; we need to be more spiritually fit than anything. Our spiritual fitness will impact our physical, mental, emotional and financial health.

If you really want to get out of the entanglement that you are in, you are going to have to cut the head off the snake. I know you want God to remove them but He tried to. You keep going back. Now God says, no you have to cut them off and stay away. Here's the thing you have everything inside you to do it. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

When you have a broken soul, you will accept any and everything that comes your way even though you know that it's not good for you. But when your soul is satisfied or healed you will turn down the things that are sweet to you but are not good for you.

In order for us to truly get over our traumas, we must forgive others, ourselves, and God. If not, we shall never get out of the prison that we have the keys to. Also, how can we expect God to forgive us, and we won't forgive others. Your freedom and happiness are depending on your forgiveness.

There are three categories of traumas: 1) Personal- things that have happened to us. 2) Expressed- things we have done to others. 3) Environmental- the places we have lived in. If these are never delt with, you will act out and have no clue what the source of the problem stims from. Feelings that are buried alive don't die. They come back as the walking dead.

We all have suffered some type of trauma. They could be mental, emotional, physical or environmental traumas and even a combination of both. On the other hand, we could be the cause of someone else's trauma. Regardless of which form of trauma it is; it happens because of the sinful nature of people. Sin is why trauma happens.

I wish that I could tell you that when you decide to turn your life around or give your life to Christ, that everyone is going to be happy and over joyed that you did such a thing! The truth of the matter is everyone won't be happy for you. Some people will not care, say you fake, it won't last, and flat out hate the fact that God has changed your heart and blessed you in spite of all you've done. The sad part is, it will be some of the people closes to you. But it doesn't matter what they think or feel, but how God feels and thinks about you.

Most of us have our lost son moment, but the great thing about God is He is always looking for use to coming back. Not only that He is running out to meet us, because He still wanting an intimate relationship with us.
