Big Idea: YOU'LL KNOW THE FIRE FELL BY HOW WE LOVE EACH OTHER.
What does revival actually look like when God moves among His people? In Acts, the evidence wasn’t only wind, fire, miracles or a loud room... it was a church becoming one. The believers devoted themselves to the Word, prayer, fellowship and the table. They held their stuff loosely and held each other tightly. Jesus said the world would know we belong to Him by the way we love one another... and that remains one of the clearest fingerprints of God on His church. Because when the fire really falls, it doesn’t make us proud... it makes us one.

Big Idea: RAISE YOUR SAIL
Throughout Scripture, God has always been the One who sends the fire and the wind. Our responsibility has never been to manufacture His power, it has always been to prepare our hearts in obedience. From the upper room at Pentecost to Elijah rebuilding the altar, we see the same pattern repeated: a prepared people and then God moves. As we wait on the Lord, becoming more intertwined with Him through prayer, His Word and obedience, we position ourselves for what only He can do. Because a sail's responsibility has never been to create the wind... its responsibility is to be ready when the wind comes.

Big Idea: AFTER GOD HOLDS UP THE MIRROR... HE HANDS YOU A HAMMER
God's movement in our lives doesn't stop with us seeing our sin, it continues when we respond in repentance. Through the story of King Josiah, we find that God's Word doesn't simply expose the idols in our lives; it calls us to destroy them. Repentance is more than feeling sorry... it's intentionally removing whatever has taken God's place in your heart. Because anything that sits on the throne of your life instead of God is an idol, and idols always make terrible gods.

Big Idea: BEFORE GOD SENDS THE FIRE, HE HOLDS UP THE MIRROR.
Before we ask God to move in power, we must first allow Him to reveal what’s really happening in our hearts. Through Jesus’ letter to the church in Laodicea and Isaiah’s desperate prayer for revival, we discover that God doesn’t begin renewal by changing our circumstances... He begins by changing us. The mirror of God’s Word exposes what we’ve grown comfortable ignoring, calling us to stop saying, “I’m fine,” and instead pray the dangerous prayer: “Search me, O God.” Because before God sends the fire, He always holds up the mirror.

Years ago, we heard about a golf company that grew so fast it forgot its purpose. Instead of making better golf balls, they started painting walls, mowing lawns, and doing everything but what they were created to do. The same thing can happen in ministry—also known as mission drift.At rest, our goal isn’t to do everything—it’s to do the right things for us. As we stay vision-critical in all we do, we’re constantly asking: Where is God moving, and how can we join Him there? (Proverbs 29:18, John 5:19, Acts 16:6–10)

Doubt has this way of keeping us stuck. We’ve all probably had moments where we’ve questioned everything—Is God really there? Does He really see me? Is all of this even true? And if you’ve ever wrestled with doubt, you’re not alone.
In fact, Thomas did too. After Jesus’ death, Thomas wasn’t just doubting—but he was grieving. He wasn’t in the room when Jesus first appeared, and he refused to believe until he could see the wounds for himself. He'd already mourned, already buried his hope, and he wasn’t about to set himself up for more disappointment.
But here’s the thing—Jesus wasn’t in the grave anymore. And maybe that’s where you are, too. Maybe you’ve buried your faith. Maybe you really believe that things are too far gone for a comeback. Maybe you’re still standing at a funeral that has an empty casket.
It’s time to #STOPTHEFUNERAL Because the grave wasn’t the end—it was the evidence. Jesus didn’t stay in the tomb, and you don’t have to stay in yours either.
Easter Sunday celebrates the victory that silences doubt, resurrects hope, and proves once and for all—His story (and yours) isn’t over.

Words matter...especially last words.
Maybe you can remember the final words of a great leader, the last goodbyes from a loved one, or the closing lines to a scene that seem to define the whole story. A person’s last words reveal what truly matters most.
On the cross at Galgotha, with His final breath, Jesus didn’t whisper words of regret, or defeat, or surrender. He didn’t say, “I tried.” He didn’t say, “Maybe next time.” Instead, He declared, “It is finished.”
To the world, looked in on this moment of final words like it was the end. But what seemed like such a tragic conclusion was actually the greatest exchange of all time.
When life feels broken beyond repair, or when hope seems buried....what will your final words be?

After Jesus' crucifixion, the disciples were devastated, fearful, and desperate. Their leader had been brutally executed—what would become of them and the movement? They were desperate for answers, desperate for hope.
And then... they found an empty tomb...and Jesus showed up.
Despair can lead to desperation, but desperation can also lead to life.
The disciples' fear and desperation on Easter morning remind us that even in our darkest moments, there is still hope! Jesus' resurrection is evidence of God's power to overcome death itself. It's a reminder that no matter how desperate our circumstances may seem, God is still at work pursuing us.

Main Point = God will prove His faithfulness publicly, when you practice your faithfulness privately.
(1) // VERSE 6 // Paul's Present Faithfulness. Paul reflects on his current circumstances in lieu of his impending death. "Poured out," is in reference to Paul's death and totality of life. Q: When the time of your departure from this planet comes, will you be ready like Paul?
(2) // VERSE 7 // Paul's Past Faithfulness. Paul remembers his life's example. The personal possessive expression Paul uses in verse 7 should be read ~ I have fought MY fight, I have finished MY race, I have kept MY faith. Q: How are you doing with your specific fight? Are you 'course comparing,' to those next to you?
(3) // VERSE 8 // God's Future Faithfulness. Paul sees the reality of what's waiting for him from Jesus. Paul was able to maintain his earthly faith because his focus was on the heavenly hope of glory set before him (Heb.12:1-2 +1 John 3:2 + Hebrews 10:14). One day every believer will be able to look Jesus in the face and will receive the 'crown of righteousness', a crown that none of us deserve. Q: How do you respond to the gospel?
