Since we are back in the swing of lending out the Voxels gallery I thought I would make a super basic tutorial for building, especially since the layout has just received some updates so older tutorials can be a bit confusing.
This is for super beginners, I go over building with blocks and adding custom textures, uploading and manipulating images and adding lighting effects :)
Press F to fly and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move around.
Please note that if you click the help button there is a list of shortcuts that are very useful (forgot to mention this in the video).

Mirel Wagner is a Finnish singer songwriter, I came across her music a while back on a Spotify playlist and instantly fell in love. Very sweet melodies with dark eerie lyrics, I would put this song in the genre of murderfolk. This song is called No Death and it's about loving someone so much you will continue loving them even afte they're dead and decayng. Also I guess about how death wants us all, i,e. we're all going to die :D

I've always been a big fan of this song, I looked everywhere and couldn't find tabs for it anywprethere! That's ty rare because even most obscure songs have a tab somewhere, I ended up having to figure out the chords on my own, this is the the first time I've figured out chords for a whole song without any help. They may not be perfect but it does the job.
I've been trying to figure out how to sing this for a few months, the OG version is sung by a man writh a pretty deep voice and even when I pitch it up thee are still low notes that are at my max and make me struggle a bit. Maybe I'll figure out a better way to sing it in the future but this is it for now:)

I've been playing around with this chord progression for a while and I think it sounds quite bittersweet with a nice balance between sweet and tense chords. I was thinking of adding some lyrics to this one but for now it is an instrumental.

Well I was planning on trying to do a song a week but I guess that failed, we got hit by hurricane Fiona last week then I got busy so life kind of got in the way lol! Anyways for this weeks open mic I decided to do a cover. I came across this song All the Black by Cat Clyde through the YouTube algo one day and it got mega stuck in my had so I had to learn it. I tend to use it as a warmup song because it sounds better sung kind of LOUD so it helps me loosen up I think. It also has a little pinky action on each chord so it put my lazy pinky to work which is something that doesn't happen often enough.

This will be my first time joining Hive Open Mic :)
I have been working on writing some songs and I figured a weekly theme might give me the kick in the butt I need to actually complete something by a certain deadline so here we are.
The theme this week was "Tevazu." In English, this means: "Humility-Modesty." I thought about this a bit and the phrase Down to earth came to mind which inspired these lyrics. I'd like to participate in more Open Mics but idk if I can write a song every week, let's see :)

I've had my guitar for about 11 months now, this song has been on my to learn list since the beginning, I managed to find some simplified chords for it but was not at all able to chord change fast enough and sing on top of it until a few months ago, even then it was spectacuraly off. I'm starting to get the groove a bitso here it is. I notice that I tend to go ?sharp? on my D and sometimes Cadd9 by putting too much pressure on the high strings, something to work on, maybe I will do a new version of this song at some point in the future and attempt to learn the solo bit in th middle which I skipped past :D
