Hold onto your hats and glasses folks! Jeff and Mark now move into the great Walt Disney World wilderness.... The actual wilderness! We cross EPCOT Center Drive into the wide open wooded land just north of EPCOT’s parking lot. This vast unused DisneySpace right is the middle of the property and is prime for something big and new.
Mark splits the space in two parts. RunDisney Park and the all new Walt Disney World TransCenter with CenterCore.
Jeff pitches an amazing Experience Park called “Disneylandia 55”, a replica of Disneyland, but as Disneyland would have been experienced in its early days for today’s generation to experience.

For our 13th show, things at the Magic Kingdom get a little weird. This might be classified as our first “and Spaces Beyond”show.
Our premise assumes that Disney execs make a proclamation that “Americana is out, we don’t want any more viral videos of Hall of Presidents, etc., let’s change Liberty Square into something new”.
But in doing so, we learn about a long-held secret of what the “Magic” Kingdom really is - and the real reason Liberty Square disappears. A familiar caller into AM radio’s late night Art Bell talk show reveals a grand conspiracy, and we get the full tour of this shocking “new land”.

Jeff and Mark return from a short winter break and reimagine the entire backside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park. The basic ambition is to “round out” the map of the park, allowing visitors to make their ways around the perimeter, much like the lands of Magic Kingdom, connecting Sunset Boulevard with Toy Storyland, experiencing an assortment of attractions, shows, and restaurants along the way.
The episode begins with impressions of the newly opened Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, just outside of Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We then discuss the progress of Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. Next we talk about Disney’s “StoryLiving” real estate ambitions, and Mark recollects Disney’s first dabbles into the real estate business with its early eighties acquisition of Arvida Properties prior to Celebration.
Mark builds out the back of Hollywood Studios with a fully themed land called “Uptown”, home of The Incredibles on the outskirts of Municiberg. This includes several surprises including a nearby DVC resort.
Jeff reveals an exciting adventure called “The Kingsman” pulled from Disney’s recent acquisition of 20th Century Fox , providing a unique edgy experience for guests, allowing them to experience role playing, story building, and stunt experiences all at the same time! Jeff also gives some honorable mentions of alternate ideas of a land for The Simpson and Family Guy - more Fox properties, more experiments of “edginess” as a notion for land design.

Episode 10 - Reimagine DinoLand USA
Social media Disney-influencer Showcase of Wishes (@ShowcaseWishes on Twitter) challenged the DisneySpace Duo to kick off 2022 by reimagining Dinoland USA of Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. Primeval Whirl has been dismantled. The writing is seemingly on the wall for The Dino Institute. This space is ready for attention.
Mark and Jeff first discuss the latest WDW news topics ranging from Star Wars lightsaber bags to the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend.
For DinoLand, Jeff challenges to bring in an Indiana Jones influence into the area, and even entertains the notion of creating a Zootopia themed space in the park, much like what is being built today at Shanghai Disneyland. Each of these ideas strikes fascinating side conversations about what brings relevance to Animal Kingdom while satisfying guests’ typical expectations.
Mark decides to scrap DinoLand almost entirely and build something quite grand in celebration of South America, setting a new spectacular corner of the world in Animal Kingdom - and borrows something quite unique from faraway Singapore to pull it off in a big way.

This week, Jeff and Mark return to Walt Disney World’s Fantasyland of the Magic Kingdom and reimagine the DisneySpace known today as “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh,” and the formerly-cherished “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride”.
Could you imagine stepping into Walt Disney’s original sound cartoon “Steamboat Willie”, and experiencing all of Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s crazy antics using advanced technical effects? If we thought this cartoon was an amazing achievement for Walt Disney and his early animators, wait until we see what Imagineering can accomplish!
Experience a new attraction story blending the 1932 Silly Symphony “Father Noah’s Arc” with the similar animated short of “Fantasia 2000” featuring Donald Duck using a animatronic theme similar to another attraction found at Tokyo’s Disney Sea.
And what if we traveled to the edge of the Magic Kingdom’s realm, deep into a forest, and spent time with the woodland creatures of Disney’s animated feature “Bambi”?

In Episode 4 of DisneySpace, Jeff and Mark welcome our first special guest Joel Christopher Payne to the show as each reimagine the former DisneyQuest and former NBA Experience space of today’s Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.
Joel has served many creative roles throughout his storied career, including Artist and Art Director positions at many gaming studios and TV shows. Today, Jeff is a professional artist and is licensed by Disney to paint and illustrate Disney branded characters, landscapes, and sceneries. In early 2021, Joel presented his water color paintings at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, painting many on site!
In a former key role, Joel collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering to develop “Virtual Jungle Cruise”, an innovative feature attraction inside DisneyQuest at Walt Disney World. His creative insight and experience at DisneyQuest inspired us to welcome him to this show!
