So, what’s stealing God’s peace from your life, and how can you get it back? How's your soul these days? Really take a minute to check in with yourself. Because we all face enemies that work to disrupt what God designed for peace. Maybe it's a daily battle with temptation or increasing pressures from the world—but there's hope to be found in an even stronger God.

Lots of things can be considered "tempting," from fast food to sleeping in to sleeping around. It's a universal human condition: We're weak to our desires. And the truth is, none of us are strong enough to resist strong temptation—that is, without God's help.

Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family!
