Understood at a young age what's most important in life. Very serious, and ambitious. Not into playing the victim, into getting an understanding and reconciling. I'm very involved with what I love, if I love you, your problems is my problem. Just established my non-profit June 7th, fundraising now to staff it and fund programs to assist Veterans, single mothers, homeless,  and elderly. I also have an exonery program that I don't promote because at this time most is not trying to hear that. Not into complaining about what I see and don't like, if I don't like it, I get involved and change it. Know that God put me here to serve a major purpose. Nonprofit will be in the Detroit Lions Yearbook this year.

Monday October 3rd,2022 on The Streets Don't love you Back Radio Show. at 3pm Arizona Time call in Number 347-826-7273  with Boyd and Lucinda . With Crandell Ojore McKinnon

Age 54 Father & Grandfather Author & Artist Ojore grew up exposed to addiction, hustling, the trappings if the streets, & the Black Power Movement. As an impoverished teen the lure of the streets drew him in, he would later be initiated into the gang, develop a Good Mentality, & defend that life-style whole heartedly. At 25, Ojore decided he needed to commit to being a father & give that loyalty & dedication to his daughter. In the process of making that transition he was wrongly arrested, framed for 2 murders & eventually wrongfully convicted for crimes he DID NOT Commit. During struggle for his freedom his Homies deserted him in his time of need, which was further incentive to cut ties with the false loyalty of the gang & the street lie-style. However, to remain steadfast in his commitment to change, Ojore had to do some deep introspection & self reflection, in addition to changing his thinking & his perspective on life, loyalty & comradery.  Today, Ojore is stranded on California's death row, fighting for life, justice & his freedom. He has remained productive & creative over the past 23 years of solitary confinement. He has self published two poetry books, is an accomplished writer, & has a death row memoir coming soon.  You can learn more about I more at freeojore.com. To contact Ojore write to:

Born in Arad, Romania. Came to United States with immigrant parents

in 1990. Did not speak any English and started the American Dream.

Fast forward, going through life wanting to be successful. Started a real

estate investment company and worked in the music industry

developing artists. In the mist of all “good progress”, I used to pride

myself on being able to be around anyone. From the streets to the

pulpit, to the white house, I was connected. But in my arrogance one

day I made a phone call introducing one person to another, and the

things that I spoke about on that phone, got me a conspiracy charge.

Never been in legal trouble in my life. I never used drugs, smoked, or

not even a drink. I made a huge mistake even being around the type of

people that can get me into trouble. I did 16 months of pretrial, 30

months in the federal prison system, 6 months of half-way house, and

1.5 of federal probation (original probation was 3 years). 87 days before

I came home my husband passed away in his sleep of a heart attack.

Making that transition from prison and starting all over was/is

mentally/emotionally hard, but with God all things are possible. I came

back home, and my real estate business has been great. I also started a

consulting firm, and a digital graphics shop. God has opened so many

doors for me to tell my story and serve in the community. Everywhere I

go I tell my story, in hopes it changes someone’s life and avoid making

the same mistakes I ve made. Jesus is the reason I am still here, living

with purpose on purpose.

RIP Tyler James Champagne! Tonight we will hear from Lisa, Tyler's mom, and Kayla, Tyler's sister. Tyler died of fentanyl poisoning. Tyler was 27 years old, he was given Fentanyl by someone who claimed she “loved” him and so he trusted her, she knew what it was and gave it to him anyways, unfortunately, he took it and did not survive. Lisa found her son in his room and it completely devastated her family. They swore to make his life matter and do whatever they can to save another family from having to suffer this pain. My son's life mattered!

Tyler's mother stated, "I will tell you as I said at his funeral... On September 2, 1994, at 1:38 pm my beautiful 8 lb 2 oz 21-inch son came into this world I kissed him for the first and sang to him, You are my sunshine, my heart was complete. On May 10, 2022, at 3 pm I walked into his room and found my son,  and my heart was completely shattered,  my world was completely broken. I sang You are my sunshine to him as I watched them take my son out of my home in a body bag. On May 24, 2022, I kissed my 6’2 198 lb son as he lay in a casket, and again, I sang, You are my sunshine for the last time.

Jemeker was a drug dealer who rose to the top of the cocaine trade during the peak of the 1980s crack epidemic in the United States. She was based in "South Central" Los Angeles and had cocaine distributors working for her in multiple cities of the United States.

Jemeker Thompson-Hairston--released from prison in February 2005. After being an ambassador in chains, she learned to speak boldly for Jesus Christ after serving a 12-year sentence.

Second Chance Evangelist Ministries (SCEM) was birthed out of her obedience to her calling to bring forth her testimony so that someone will seek the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ--the God of a Second Chance. You are important to God. It does not matter WHAT you have done or are doing right now. You can make a choice to turn your life around. We are here to Help YOU. If God can give me a Second Chance, He will do the same for YOU.

Her past life was synonymous with backslider, bitter, fearful, doubter, worrier, prideful, angry, hurt, lustful, adulterer, judgmental, controlling, liar, gossiper, deceitful, murderer, slanderer, complainer, cheater, thief, manipulator, lover of money, drug dealer...

George Martorano is the longest-serving first-time non-violent offender in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole in 1988.

In 1984, on the advice of his attorney Robert Simone, Martorano pled guilty to 19 counts of drug possession and distribution. Martorano was subsequently advised by both the prosecution and the judge, John Berne Hannum, that this plea could result in a sentence of life without the possibility of parole. The prosecution, however, had only recommended a sentence of from 40 to 54 months. On September 20, 1984, Martorano was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, the longest prison term ever imposed on a first-time non-violent offender in American history. One of the harshest sentences ever handed out.

George Martorano is a writer and speaker. After serving 32 years of his life sentence for a non-violent crime he has been released in Oct 2015.  His aim, as a free man, is to pass to others what he has learned through his unique experience, and to help. We are proud to say that George used The Streets Don't Love You Back Book to teach from in Prison since 2010.

Martorano has distinguished himself during his decades. In addition to being a "model" prisoner, Martorano is considered one of the most prolific writers in the Federal Prison System, having authored more than 31 books. He has also written numerous short stories, screenplays and poems. He recently published a self-help booklet for inmates entitled the "ShotCaller. He has developed a creative writing course - "The Write to Life" - which has assisted numerous inmates in earning GEDs and developing creative writing skills. was one of the first – if not the first – inmate in the FBOP system to exercise his First Amendment rights digitally, by publishing his works.

Full of hatred toward her mother, Mea plots to escape; believing this is the only way to survive her mother's horrific abuse. It’s not just her mother who abuses young Mea—for several years Mea has dreams of a man molesting her, though she can never see his face clearly enough in her dreams to know for sure if this truly happened to her.

Until one day; everything becomes clear. Mea is molested and realizes that this is the man in her dreams—he molested her several times when she was younger. When Mea tells her mother, she goes after the molester with a knife, but later returns home and blames the sexual assault on young Mea. Mea runs away from home after being abused by her mother again, only to be kidnapped and held captive in a basement; along with another young girl.

Thelma Wright was legendary as reputedly the most dangerously powerful Black woman in Philadelphia. As the wife of Jackie Wright, a top heroin dealer in the city, she was intricately connected with the Black Mafia, a gang that operated Philly's drug trade throughout the 1970s and into the 1980s. Once widowed, and left as the young mother of a toddler son, she discreetly took over his business, running a bi-coastal drug empire, unbeknownst to family and friends around her. Recognized by her distinguished, sparkling green eyes, Wright ruled the streets with incredible savvy and disarming charm. Yet, very few knew the real sadness and confusion in her heavy heart.

While "With Eyes From Both Sides -- Living My Life In and Out of the Game," reveals Wright's more intimate memories and angst as a woman torn between two worlds, "Gangsters: America's Most Evil" is a documentary-style presentation connecting the details of her criminal enterprise. During the show, Wright, alongside family, friends, and law enforcement experts lends credence to her rule over a criminal enterprise normally dominated by men.

Struggling to survive and overcome violence and poverty is a common image seen in movies and music about those who live in Compton. For West Coast rapper Cuicide, it’s all just a part of his life.

He’s dealt with hardships from the moment he was born, from having been abandoned by his parents at only eighteen months old to make it through foster homes and more upheavals.

With no place to truly call home, he took to the streets and their offers of gang banging, robbing and hustling, but even that failed to calm him and eventually lead to an attempt at taking his own life at the young age of 22 years old.

He thankfully lived through that and woke up out of a coma with a renewed sense of determination to make it. Just two years after the life-changing brush with death that spawned his rap name, he signed his first record deal and recorded his debut album “Final Exit.”

Demetrius Guyton tells his story about forgiving his mother for trying to kill him at a young age. At age 25, he was seeing her for the first time — the mother who apparently tried to kill him in a Jasper hospital, when he was less than 3 months old. Police charged her with giving the infant a bottle that contained a mixture of castor oil and hydrochloric acid. According to testimony during the trial in Walker County Circuit Court, she had applied for a $25,000 life insurance policy on her son four days before the July 16, 1984, incident. Authorities said he vomited the acid, burning the skin on his face, chest and neck, leaving patches of scars. On May 2, 1985, the jury found her guilty of first-degree assault. She served 14 years at Tutwiler Prison for Women. Reunion The scars remain, but Guyton said he began shedding the animosity when he gave his life to Christ during his own prison term. The meeting with his mother came April 30, 2009, two days after his 25th birthday. His cousin, whom he had not seen in 20 years, invited him and his older brother to her college graduation and a family reunion. “I didn’t know Mother was going to be there,” Guyton said. “I dropped my bags, and we embraced. I had to be an instrument that God could use to kill the hate.” Reaching that point wasn’t easy. He had surgeries in Jasper, spent a year at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham and lived in a foster home. His father’s mother got custody when he was 4. He moved to Boligee with his grandmother when he was 13. Four years later, he returned to Jasper, where he began running the streets, living a gang life and selling drugs.

Uncle Al Capone by Deirdre Marie Capone, Al Capone's grandniece, The untold story from inside his family. Dramatic, unyielding, and provocative, is a fascinating memoir and engaging biography. This moving, highly readable portrait of the Capone family and its mob trade examines what it has meant to survive the storied legacy of the family's forbearers. As Capone traces the arc of regret and what fuels the Capone myth, she finds redemption and a way to coexist with her legacy. In seventeen chapters with titles like "The Making of the Mafioso," "Trading the Chicago Outfit for the Chicago Cubs," and "The Saint Valentine's Day Truth," Capone outlines organized crime in Chicago and offers vignettes of American history during the early and mid-twentieth century. Using years of research and exhaustive interviews with her aunts, uncles, and cousins, she weaves an engaging anecdotal narrative of what it meant to be a Capone, what it meant to lose her father to suicide, and what it meant to have a mother who lived in constant fear. She offers compelling evidence that Al Capone was specifically targeted for prosecution by law enforcement agencies assisted by the media, which made gross exaggerations of her uncle's exploits and fueled a phenomenon of half-truths and utter falsehoods. From the family's roots in Angri, Italy to the author's ongoing investigations today, this debut offers a comprehensive and moving portrait of an iconic American family and one woman's efforts to make peace with the past.

Boyd  and Lucinda with Leon Benson,  Incarcerated at an Indiana Prison, he is currently using The Streets Don't Love You Back Lifeskills Program to help change lives behind the walls.

Leon Benson an African American man, has been an innocent prisoner in the state of Indiana struggling to obtain his over due exoneration the past 17 years with no luck. He is falsely convicted of the crime of murder.

With every claim of innocence there must exist corroborating evidence (i.e. physical, DNA, technical, or testimonial evidence). And in his case the exonerating evidence is testimonial. So, the search for truth will come down to examining one persons statement over another.

Los Angeles - The acronym N.W.A. are three explosive letters loaded with controversy within the unpredictable genre of hip hop.  But for one man, those letters mean only one thing - Not Without Alonzo.  Alonzo "Lonzo" Williams is widely acknowledged as the definitive "Godfather of West Coast Hip Hop" and considering his historical stance pioneering the birth of west coast hip hop, it is clearly understood why.

Williams can purposely take credit for brokering not only some of the biggest connections in hip hop but also for discovering some its biggest names, including Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Eazy E.  With the July debut of the highly-anticipated HBO series, "The Defiant Ones," about Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, Williams' truth will be told.  And to further clarify the matter, he has released a narrative in his own words, "N.ot W.ithout A.lonzo," a memoir and audio book, narrated by him and packed with the personal punch, flavor and charisma he is known for.  Alonzo Williams and Dr. Dre "

But it is his contribution to the HBO four-part documentary, "The Defiant Ones" that has him most excited. The special details the musical and business partnership between Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. Directed by Allen Hughes, the film will include numerous in-depth interviews including Bono, Nas, Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg and Alonzo Williams.

Annapolis, MD - During her 19-year crack addiction, Tonier Cain racked up 83 arrests and 66 convictions. She turned to prostitution to pay for drugs, lost custody of four children, and, when she wasn't locked up, she slept under a bridge.  Today, 12-years after completing treatment, Cain penned an open letter to the Senate Health Committee urging them to preserve the mandate for insurers to provide mental health and substance abuse treatment and continue federal funding for Medicaid expansion.

"I sent the letter to make sure the Senators working to overhaul health care who may be out of touch with the people they serve, get a first hand account of how treatment changes lives," says Cain. "I urge anyone who has benefitted from treatment to speak out and let our leaders know we matter, our struggle matters, and our votes matter. Our triumphs over addiction demonstrate that treating this debilitating illness not only saves lives and communities, but also saves money. "

"My untreated crack habit cost U.S. taxpayers millions of dollars," writes Cain, who received treatment after asking a judge to give her a longer sentence so she would be eligible for a substance abuse program. "Limiting access to drug abuse and mental health services will fuel the addiction epidemic and increase costs to taxpayers."

Join us with guest speakers Julia Gusse, April Mae Macek, Henry Wade and Grace Scott as they share testimonies and knowledge about domestic violence. Nearly 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have suffered from domestic violence by an intimate partner. All people deserve to feel safe with loved ones. Take a stand against domestic violence.

Domestic violence is the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior as part of a systematic pattern of power and control perpetrated by one intimate partner against another. It includes physical violence, sexual violence, psychological violence, and emotional abuse. The frequency and severity of domestic violence can vary dramatically; however, the one constant component of domestic violence is one partner’s consistent efforts to maintain power and control over the other.

Domestic violence is an epidemic affecting individuals in every community, regardless of age, economic status, sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, or nationality. It is often accompanied by emotionally abusive and controlling behavior that is only a fraction of a systematic pattern of dominance and control. Domestic violence can result in physical injury, psychological trauma, and in severe cases, even death. The devastating physical, emotional, and psychological consequences of domestic violence can cross generations and last a lifetime.

For anonymous, confidential help available 24/7, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 (SAFE) or 1-800-787-3224 (TTY) now.

Los Angeles - Multi-platinum songwriter, producer and R&B charmer Marcus Darc has been droppin drawers and making panties wet since the 80's when he formed his first group in Chicago, R-Kelly & MGM.  As one of the original new school sexy soul singers, his signature sound has 'erected' a body of work that has all ways and always catered to what women want to hear.   Darc possesses no inhibitions when he writes, produces and performs for his target audience of females. Yet unlike most of today's hip hop lyricists, who shun sentiment over gratuitous sex, Darc sensuously aims for hearts and hips, swaying them with synchronized satisfaction. "Twisted," on Lucky Entertainment, his latest musical release since dropping "Pretty Woman" in 2013, is perhaps unprecedented in its aural explicitness. Darc leaves very little to the imagination when wooing and cooing his love interests, while inciting fantasy and fervor to a fever pitch.

When we were making "A Murder in the Park," I noticed that we had a lot of time between shoots, and I believed we could work on more than one project at once if... we tried. Well we tried, and it worked. But over the next few months we are going to post (starting the editing process) of a handful of films at the same time. It will be a big challenge, but one I believe we will conquer. We will be experimenting with new story-organizing techniques that - if they work - will really enable us to handle multiple projects in the future. I'll occasionally post on here to let all of my industry buddies know how it's going.

Monique Newell Taylor was born and raised on the East Side of Kansas City, Missouri. She had a traumatic childhood that included violence, sexual abuse, alcoholism, and an eating disorder that started at age five and lasted until she turned 40. She was 21 years old when she started out on a journey of drug addiction that would last over two decades and take her down roads and to places that no one could have ever imagined she would go.

Over 65 arrests with four of them being felonies to include; prostitution, auto theft, commercial burglary, habitual shoplifter, transporting 90 pounds of Marijuana crossing the Tijuana border, unlawful felony possession of cocaine arrest in the notorious Mc Arthur park by dirty Cops from the Rampart Division Scandal in the 90’s,forgery and last but not least participating in a bank robbery. Her addiction took her across the United States on a drug hungered crime spree that lasted for over two decades. Her story shows how violence and addiction ravaged her family for three generations with sibling and children who were involved in murder, by self defense. It seemed like she was as addicted to Bad Boys and unhealthy relationships as bad as she was the drugs. Choosing men who drug her down time and time again.

Today she has turned her life over to God and has not used crack for seven years. God healed her relationships with her children and family, she is newlywed to a Pastor who was widowed with 3 small children. She wishes to share her story of God’s Grace as she was a woman who hated herself, abandoned her children, was in and out of prison, whose parents never gave up on her.  And now that she finally has a happy ending, she would like to share, inspire and give hope to others.

Rick Wershe was recruited at age 14 and trained in the ways of the dope trade by members of the Detroit federal drug task force. He didn’t get in the dope business until law enforcement put him there. Wershe had dropped out of school to play the role the task force asked him to play and paid him to play. Wershe never became a drug addict, but he admits he became addicted to the glitz and bling and cash. He became addicted to the fast cars, fast women and fast life of the drug underworld. When he got caught and was facing life in prison, no one in the federal drug task force came to his defense. No one. To do so would have required them to publicly admit they had lured a 14-year old kid into putting himself at grave risk to help them fight the “war on drugs.” They let this kid they drew in to the drug underworld confront the criminal justice system all alone. Rather than admit what they had done to a juvenile, the Detroit federal drug task force let this young man be sentenced to life in prison.

As a young child, K.N.U, and everyone around him, knew that he truly was a different breed. He grew up in mostly small town settings, but moved a lot and ended up staying in Brown County Ohio ages 5-15 for the most part. K.N.U was so different from the rest of the people in his area, that he chose to stay at home and listen to music to escape more often then not. K.N.U listened to Rock&Roll all throughout his childhood. At the age of 15 he moved to Manchester Ky, where he decided to try his hand at both drums and bass guitar. He enjoyed both but decided neither of which suited him best. At the same time of realizing such, he moved back to Brown and Clermont County OH. He went to school like a normal kid, he did work for family friends to support himself financially, when one day he decided he wanted something more out of life, he never had an answer when people would ask what he wanted to be when he grew up, and decided it was time to find an answer. He took off into the world and researched everything he could possibly think of, and the only jobs that interested him were pertaining to art. After trying instruments, tattooing, drawing, painting, and more art, he finally decided those were hobbies rather then careers, at least for him. Then one day, he picked up a pad of paper and a pencil, turned on a beat, and wrote his first "rap song". He recorded a video of him delivering his flow on his phone camera, and uploaded it to "Facebook". The next thing you know, he became known as an artist, and all of his friends and more where asking for more. He then invested in equipment and started a team named "Ride Er Die" with no knowledge of sound quality, business strategies, or any knowledge in the music world whatsoever at that. K.N.U recorded roughly 20 tracks and uploaded them to "youtube"(which are still currently uploaded).

Dr. JJ Spinner is an individual whose purpose on earth is to serve his community (locally and globally) and positively impact the lives of every individual that he encounters. His personal mission statement for his life is:  “I was placed on earth not to serve myself but to serve others with my life, ensuring that the work that I do while on earth outlives me because of the effect reflected by the lives that I impacted.” His vision statement is to serve others by encouraging others to think big beyond their life’s obstacles; by standing in the gap for those that have been rejected or ostracized; and by representing hope to those that have given up and have no hope for a better tomorrow. At a height of 6’11’’, he figuratively and literally understands the “tall” assignment bestowed upon him.  In 1994, he founded Big Spin Enterprises, which has been recognized for its community service and activism, especially its youth program. As the C.E.O of Big Spin Enterprises as well as a former professional athlete, a minister, an educator, a writer, an actor, and a community activist, he has established effective programing that the youth can relate, learn and be impacted by because of the plethora of experience and connections that bring much needed support and resources to those that need it the most.  Whether it is his anti-bullying or his personal development programs for the youth, Dr. JJ Spinner along with Big Spin Enterprises seeks to end all types of anti-bulling, domestic violence and self-abuse by building character, redirecting challenging and negative behavior and motivating them to be positive role models in the community.

Because of my choices, I  made a bed for myself that I was forced to lie in at a young age. When it came time for me to reap from all the wrong I had sowed, I had no idea, that I would have to spend 18 years of my life in Federal prison. Finally, the false reality I had been chasing after for so long, had revealed its true identity. And yes; "It was just what my mother tried to warn me about. From the streets, to the fed's, to the pulpit, is my life's journey, through the material possessions, women, money, temporary happiness, prison, trials and tribulations. In no way is this story meant to glorify the life I once lived. However, it's purpose is to glorify the GOD, that brought me through it all, in spite of who I use to be."Sometimes in life, we have to lose what we think is everything, in order to know what everything truly is. Life is all about CHOICES!"

Atlanta - Every actor dreams of that career-defining role, the one that lands him in a blockbuster film alongside big Hollywood stars. Well when actor Stan Houston was initially offered his 'big break' to read for the role of the racist antagonist Sheriff Jim Clark in the now Oscar nominated film, "Selma," he actually turned it down twice, and with good reason. Distributed by Paramount Pictures, Selma is a historical period piece that covers a critical episode in the civil rights movement. As a resident of Coffee County in the Southeastern area of Alabama, Houston actually lives in the same small town whereSheriff James G. Clark lived and died. Houston felt the dynamics of playing such a controversial role might just be too close to home. He eventually read for the role, and in a move showcasing director Ava DuVernay's dedication to authenticity, he was selected.Houston has been acting professionally for six years now. "Selma" is his most significant booking to date. His larger than life portrayal of Sheriff Clark has garnered him international attention and acclaim. Performing directly alongside Oprah Winfrey, who plays civil rights activist Annie Lee Cooper, Houston's fiery.

Atlanta - Actor Clay Chappell is no newcomer to the big screen. As a working actor, he has landed some prime bit parts in several major films. He played a councilman alongside Dennis Quaid in the remake of "Footloose" and did a scene with Robert Duvall in the Billy Bob Thorton directed "Jayne Mansfield's Car." But his brief appearance in the cinematic drama, "Selma," a historical period piece distributed by Paramount Pictures, has been heralded as the showstopper which may just define his career. In "Selma," Chappell plays a southern registrar opposite Oprah Winfrey as Annie Lee Cooper, a Black women seeking to vote in 1965 when racial discrimination made voting very difficult. The scene, only a minute in length, sets the tone for the entire film, and is Oprah's only speaking role in the movie.According to film critic, Derrick Bang ( the-march-resonates-anew )   "the scene with Oprah is a "landmark cinematic moment: a scene destined to be memorialized, and oft resurrected, for decades to come." Chappell's performance has been highlighted on talk shows across the country, including "Ellen," "The Tonight Starring Jimmy Fallon," "Barbara Walters," and "The Today Show." Not bad for an actor who has been working since 1996 to secure more than five lines in a film!Chappell originally auditioned for the role of one of the klansmen in the film, but was asked by casting director Cynthia Stillwell to come back and read for the role of the registrar for the film's director, Ava DuVernay. After doing so, Chappell was asked back but couldn't make the third audition and thought maybe he had lost further consideration. When his agent at J Pervis Talent called him a week later, requesting a table read, he remained hopeful. DuVernay offered him the part after the read,

Who is Rio Jonz? Well, if I knew that with clarity I would share. As it stands now I am a 45 year old man with an action-packed novel. But before this project I was a man without direction. Oh, I worked as a barber off and on for over 30 years in Compton, California. I'm a part-time daddy, because my marriage blew up in my face. And I'm also the go-to man when people need a good listener, or some advice on how to deal with life's issues. No degrees in these areas, though. I guess people just think I'm that approachable. All-in-all readers, I wish I could accommodate the world with their issues in life. Not quite possible with just little ol' me, so I choose to entertain in the form of a tome. Hopefully, what I write will spotlight this fact: In spite of, we are all people dealing with life the same. Just on different levels. My mother started the 65' Watts Riot, and the village that raised me were, lets just say, "Eclectic." So, the cards that I was dealt in life are different. And yet, I deal with them in similar fashion as everyone else.

Around 2009, while she was in the hiring process for a police department, things shifted for her and she received a clear message and Divine guidance to stay and help people who are suffering needlessly.  Over the years, Alisa started to notice that she was different than most massage therapists and that each time she would work with someone in mental distress, she would experience what they felt and could see in her mind what they were going through.  The beautiful thing is that not only does she see it and feel it, Alisa also receives Divine guidance on how to help through silent healings or Theta Healing. As an empath, many times she will feel her client's emotions before they arrive for a treatment.  Alisa is so happy and grateful for having the ears to listen to the truth about who she is and why she is here.

Prepare for more tales of cocaine pure as the driven snow -- George Jung penned a sequel to "Blow" during his almost 20-year prison stint ... and his people say Hollywood's already knocking.

The classic film starring Johnny Depp was inspired by Bruce Porter's 1993 book about Jung's life ... but we're told that was only a fraction of Boston George's cocaine adventures.

A rep for Jung says his new book, entitled "Heavy" ... will detail more of George's drug smuggling missions in the 80s and feature some of the same "Blow" characters.

Not surprisingly, we're told a movie production company's already interested in the book ... which comes out next month.

FUN FACT: Jung co-wrote the book with T. Rafael Cimino ... whose uncle Michael Cimino directed "Deer Hunter."  Nice pedigree.

Darlyn's experience working and developing staff, studying business and life principles, and now overseeing organizations that service thousands of people have allowed Darlyn to gain tactical knowledge and information about relationships, and the laws of life.   Now as the founder of Wow Women International, and Billionaire Minds, two non profit organizations dedicated to providing counseling, information, knowledge, training and opportunities, Darlyn has fused her relationship and mentoring skills with practical business and technical training.  Although Darlyn's degree was in Management Information Systems, and having attended the Kellogg School of Management for the purpose of pursuing her MBA, Darlyn began to venture into the elements of relationships, life, and particularly women's issues.  She began to do extensive studies regarding women, their challenges and their issues and set out to do her part to provide the counseling, information, and support system that women in particular need to be successful and productive citizens.  These ventures mushroomed into a cry from the women for Darlyn to host meetings that would allow her to dispense her wisdom on finances, business, life and relationships in a forum for all to hear. Soon WOW WOMEN International was birthed, with annual conferences that take place across the nation in various cities that offer seminars and workshops covering every aspect of life, including relationships, finances, depression, and a wide range of topics.  In addition to leading her own organizations, Darlyn is also the Vice-President of Holywood Studios, a christian film production company founded by her husband, Dr. Clifford E. Turner.  Darlyn is an active producer, writer, and director of various projects.  Darlyn is the author  of "The 21 Irrefutable, Irreplaceable law of Relationship", soon to be released.

James Arceneaux Jr. grew up in Portland, Oregon. After attending the University of Oregon, he moved to the Island of Hawaii. An interest in the entertainment business led him to Los Angeles. He worked in the industry for over 25 years with some of the top entertainers in the world. As a manger, estate manager, personal assistant and road manager he traveled the entire globe. In 2001, James rededicated his life to the Lord. During that time, while having conversations with new believers, James realized that most of them were never taught how to be a disciple, much like his own experience. That’s when he discovered he had a heart for discipleship. Because of that alarming truth James made a personal vow to himself to write books, speak publicly and make the discipleship of new believers the focus of his life and ministry.

Candidate for Tolleson Union High School District Governing Board.

"The only way to move forward is together, lets raise the bar"

Biography

Devin Del Palacio has announced that he will be a candidate for the Tolleson Union High School Governing Board.

“I have decided to run because of my true passion for ensuring that every student has an equal opportunity to a successful future,” said Del Palacio.

From 2007-2009, Del Palacio worked for the Department of Economic Security (DES). At DES he discovered his passion for helping those in need; while inspiring them to make a change in their lives and their communities.

As a biracial male with African American and Mexican heritage, growing up in central Phoenix, he was exposed to various ethnicities and cultures on a daily basis. It was the same passion that led Mr. Palacio to create the non-profit organization of PHX United in November of 2011.

“It's time to raise the bar and focus on areas that contribute to student achievement, such as health and wellness, safety, and parental engagement," said Del Palacio. "We must all get fired up about education. Help me raise the bar, not just for our students, but also for our community!”

Del Palacio serves on various city and non-profits boards such as the Maryvale Village Planning Committee, Maryvale YMCA and the Arizona Advocacy Network. He has also received recognition for his dedication towards improving the quality of living for everyone. In 2013, the Cesar Chavez Foundation honored Del Palacio for his commitment to beautifying inner-city neighborhoods.

Local police tied the shooting to Johnson's lesbian friend, Tracey Tarlton. The women had met in a mental health facility, Saint David’s Pavilion, after Johnson threatened to commit suicide when she and Beard began fighting over her constantly spending his money on expensive clothes and jewelry for herself. Tarlton was arrested at her home six days after the shooting and charged with assault. The police thought there was more to the story when people who were interviewed said that Johnson had spoken negatively about Beard. In 2003, Johnson was found guilty of capital murder and received a mandatory life sentence. She will be eligible for parole in 2043, when she is 80 years old, serving at least 40 years for the crime.

"My Name Is" was shot in Phoenix, Arizona and directed by Carlos Berber. The video is a scene by scene reenactment of the original "My Name Is" video, with Amber swapping out Eminem's moniker for her own and tweaking the lyrics with her own risqué rants. "My Name Is" pops with the same zany antics as the original release but resonates with 2014 sensibility.

"For me as a white girl, Eminem was a powerful reflection growing up. He showed me what I had the potential to do.  He kicked down walls and built up new ones.  I'm not trying to be a female Eminem though, I just wanted to pay homage to him for making a way for artists like me. If is sees "My Name Is," project I hope it makes him proud because he was a great inspiration to me."

"Be Good To Women Day" Honors Women

While Addressing Abusive Relationships

Los Angeles, CA - Exciting plans are underway for the 11th annual "Be Good To Women Day." Held in March, during Women's History Month, its mission is to eliminate damaging words, images and behaviors toward women and girls; and to promote a culture of equality, respect and love through education and advocacy for the benefit of all.

Brad Sanders, a comedian, actor and writer, and Deya Smith, a media personality, blogger and author of  "Touch Yourself: 30 Ways to Boldly Live, Love and Let Go!" began the event in 2003, inspired by Sanders' nationally syndicated radio program,

On the Phone with Ti-Rone. After

20 years of responding to thousands of letters, phone calls and emails from mistreated and abused women, Sanders knew he had to get involved. He recalls, "It finally occurred to me that we, men, are too often completely clueless about what women go through and what they need from us. Deya Smith, my co-host at the time, said 'So what are you going to do about it?' That's how it began." According to Sanders, this event is "about motivating men to take their rightful place beside women. It's about us inspiring each other and helping each other to be all that God intended

Burbank's own self-confessed housewife by day and stripper by night author, A. A. Jones was recently acknowledged as a 2013 Readers' Favorite Silver Medal Winner in the "Relationships" category for her memoir, "Tilt Diary of a Virgin Stripper." The award ceremony was held in Miami, FL.

A.A. Jones is many things to many people: wife, neighbor, friend, dog trainer, yoga and Pilates teacher, pole dancing instructor, and unbeknownst to most––a stripper. This is not however your stereotypical stripper story, at 37, Jones is a housewife desperately trying to save her family from financial ruin. In the end, she finds a way to save herself.

Jones’ memoir, “Tilt: Diary of a Virgin Stripper,” details the drama and danger of the world of stripping. It is an intimate, soul-bearing account of a woman making her way in a man’s fantasy world. Revealing and titillating, “Tilt” is more than an erotic confession. It is the story of a woman falling in love and rediscovering her true self and her sexual power, choosing to let darkness ignite her instead of consume her.

Christmastime brings the warm waft of evergreens in the air. But for anyone who has ever stacked a six-foot Fraser Fir on the roof of a car, sometimes the transporting of that wondrous pine scent can be more than challenging. With the establishment of the Christmas Angel Network (CAN), entrepreneur Theodore Myles has not only effectively tackled the transportation issue, but he has also created a method to provide holiday fundraising for charities and organizations in the process.

Ted's love affair with trees began as a youth while working on Christmas lots during the holiday season. He learned to distinguish between the varied saplings including the Noble Fir, Fraser Fir, White Pine, Balsam, and of course the Evergreen, all of which are sold via the Christmas Angel Network. The experience taught him that the right tree was just as important as the right price and led him to create the Christmas Angel Network.

He felt that he needed to "teach me a lesson". I had other things going on in my life as well at home that just drew the line with me completely. I was so devastated that I wanted to take my own life. I was tired of being misunderstood, taken advantage of, being abused, mistreated, and hurt. I carried a pain so deep that the hottest shower could not rinse or cleanse off. I took all the prescription medications my mom had. I was found incoherent in my bedroom and rushed to the hospital by ambulance. I had gone into respiratory and cardiac arrest...

Bobbi’s daughter Kaity met a man and fell in love. He seemed polite, respectful and caring towards Kaity. Over the months she grew to care deeply for this young man and experienced her first love beyond the family. About six months into the relationship this young man began to change. He suddenly became rude and inconsiderate at times, but apologetic when Kaity would stand her ground. This young man exhibited possessive and jealous behavior. If Kaity was away from him he constantly called or would text her on her phone. At times he made accusations that she was lying to him or cheating on him with another. If she went away to visit family he was crazed out of his mind about where she was and who she was with. Kaity patiently tried to understand his insecurities and shortcomings and forgave him. Nonetheless, his behavior escalated. After several months of enduring this behavior, with the support of her family and friends, Kaity came to realize she was not able to help him understand her devotion to him and ended the relationship. He began stealing from her, assaulting her and threatening her. On January 28, 2008, five days after filing the Injunction Against Harassment (IAH), as Kaity was walking on her way home from school this young man grabbed her from in front of her house and pulled her to the side yard of the house next door. He then killed her with a shot gun he had hidden in a duffle bag, and turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.

G2S has found himself arrested numerous times for things such as gun possession, assault and disorderly conduct. While incarcerated, he was introduced to the word of God. He began studying the Bible and attending church and even gave his life over to God while incarcerated.

Upon being released, he was led to attend the New Deliverance Tabernacle, under the leadership of Pastor Vincent L. Mendenhall, where he has been a faithful member for the last three years. Shaka says: "Twenty one years ago, at the age of 19, I shot and killed a man.  I was a young drug dealer with a quick temper.  He showed up on my doorstep at two o'clock in the morning uninvited.  We exchanged words, and before I knew it, I had pulled out my pistol and started shooting.  He was hit multiple times and died later at the hospital.  I went on the run for two days before I was arrested and charged with open murder.  For years, as I served out my sentence for second degree murder, I blamed everybody else but myself for the decision I made that fateful night.  I was bitter and angry and hurting inside from an innocence lost.  It wasn't until I started writing about the pain from my childhood and the things I experienced selling drugs on the unforgiving streets of Detroit that I started to release the anger and began to heal deep, emotional wounds. Writing about my wrongs was the first of many steps that I took to atone for taking a man's life.  Through the transformative power of writing, I accepted responsibility for my decisions and have used my experience to help others avoid the path that I took in my youth.   This is my story and it is my hope that by Writing My Wrongs, I can help others right their wrongs."

At an early age Rick and his siblings became wards of the state of Michigan. Rick says...My mother was one of my father's many prostitutes. My mother also wanted me to know about sex at an early age so she had sex with me at 6 years old. Then she had some "co - worker " prostitutes teach me the ropes about sex. When I was 7 years old my father became a drug dealer and I became his ace sidekick; holding his stash and pistol at the age of 8 (police didn't suspect a kid could be holding everything ) but I was. Life was good for a few years with my father pushing heroin and cocaine and my mother tricking "john's" into a hotel room, then me and my father would bust in and rob them or I would hide under the bed and pick their pants pockets. I received a new .38 caliper pistol for my 10th birthday and my very own stash. My uncle started taking care of me and raping me when my parents started using their own product and became addicts. I soon had to learn how to clean needles, cook up the dope and shoot them up. The worst was spilling the dope and getting a beating for it. I became a master cooker by the age of 8. My uncle would rape me when they were high or out for days looking for dope. My father went to prison for Armed Bank Robbery in 1975. In 1976 my mother stabbed two people to death in front of my sister and I in the Herman Gardens projects on Joy Rd. ( she got away with that crime ) but caught an armed robbery case and was sent to DeHoCo Women's prison.  Rick now helps the youth and has a boxing, fitness and self defense program where he  offers positive solutions, support mentoring and educational assistance.

Martin Henderson felt compelled to begin this organization after realizing there was a true void in the support and education of fathers. Not wanting to solely depend on civic leaders to help in the community, he began to put the pieces together that became Fatherhood Matters, Inc.                   Fatherhood Matters is dedicated and determined to make a difference in the lives of children by educating fathers. Our organization meets with fathers in various settings, provides fathers with counseling, as well as legal services; helping fathers to understand and exercise  their paternal rights. Fatherhood Matters, Inc. also assists fathers with paternity testing for those with affiliation concerns. Statistics show father absence is strongly connected to abuse, poverty, behavioral problems, teen pregnancy, incarceration, and many other issues. Fathers are simply irreplaceable contributors. It is our goal to help engage and educate men to be better caretakers of their children. We appreciate and value your support in helping us build stronger families in America. 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes. Boys who grow up in father-absent homes are more likely than those in father -present homes to have trouble establishing appropriate sex roles and gender identity. Children in father-absent homes are five times more likely to be poor. 85% of all children that exhibit behavioral disorders come from fatherless homes. A 2002 Department of Justice survey of 7000 inmates revealed that 39% of jail inmates come from single mother homes. A study of 13,986 women in prison showed that more than half grew up without their fathers. 1 in 3 children are in fatherless homes.

Leon Benson an African American man, has been an innocent prisoner in the state of Indiana struggling to obtain his over due exoneration the past 13 years with no luck. He is falsely convicted of the crime of murder. With every claim of innocence there must exist corroborating evidence (i.e. physical, DNA, technical, or testimonial evidence). And in his case the exonerating evidence is testimonial. So, the search for truth will come down to examining one persons statement over another. This task was given to 12 jurors. Unfortunately, in today's American society a white person's word is still valued over a black person's word, no matter how illogical the white person's word may be. And this point is evident by how Christy Schmitt's (white person) illogical identification of me being the killer - let alone the other evidence the contradicted her testimony and identification.

Being that the exonerating evidence in his case is testimonial, He has provided those actual documents in an organized way to demonstrate his actual innocence. What is bad about cases such as his is bent on testimony from the prosecution and defense is that there is room for the perception of that testimony to be undermined and manipulated by the prosecution, which is what happened in his case.

Susan Jones was nearly beaten to death earlier this year. Now she's going public and hoping her story helps other women leave abusive relationships. "He got mad and pulled a 12-gauge on me; we fought over that and then he began beating me with his fists and strangling me," said Susan Jones. Susan Jones never thought she'd become another face of domestic violence.  "My kids have lost their dad, grandkids have lost their grandpa," she said. According to court documents, Jones' husband, David Jones, attacked her last January. Her face was swollen and his hands left bruises on her neck where he tried to strangle her. "While he was strangling me I was thinking about my little grandkids and my children - thinking I was taking my last breath," she said.  David Jones is now in the Creek County jail waiting trial on domestic violence. Jones recently decided to take her story public. She started a Facebook page and wants to encourage other men and women to get out of violent relationships. "I'm hoping it'll save somebody's life. Hopefully, it will help another family from being torn apart," Jones said.

My life had started from a rocky start from then till now. I left my family at the age of 13 straight out from the high schools to the juvenile detention facilities from detention centers to the half way houses I started as a ward of the state. and the music that I fell in love with from an early age on ward was always in my face behind a glass as if the bright shiny piece of me was never to remanifest itself. Once I turned 21 I was released in to the streets of Tucson Arizona. I started out working at restaurant jobs from dishwashing to cooking and everything In between. after working at a grocery store I meet a man who now is a close friend to me. he gave me my first flute in Tucson that had carried me through the ruff patches that were soon to come. Living in Tucson had made me understand that the people is where the change occurs how I could change my outlook and effect others in the process in a positive way. After leaving the grocery store I set out each night on my own and played in the silence of the University of Arizona campus. My family has not been apart of the picture for the duration of my "exile" so providing for myself is something I learned quickly. it was during the harsh times that I needed this escape. For four years I played on the empty campus in the twilight of the day. that was my life, work, music, sleep, work. it wasn't until I found myself in a relationship with a woman from the university. I started to attend the open mic poetry group, I was to go up to perform a piece. As always when I became nervous I played outside with my eyes closed.
