Welcome to my podcast! A space I created for me to connect with others about anything and everything I love or am curious about. Every week, I -along with my sister Ada and my good friend Paul- hold conversations with people whom I love, admire, am inspired by or want to get to know a little more. It is my hope that with each episode, listeners are able to relate to a story being told, find new wisdom and information they can apply in their own lives, or simply leave feeling entertained, seen, understood, hopeful and inspired.

Hello, everyone

today I share my thoughts on how chemistry, feelings of love, and rainbows and butterflies are used as the foundation for long lasting relationships. The truth is, in my experience, relationships need more than feelings of love and fireworks. Love changes overtime and love requires for us to show up daily, even when it feels uncomfortable.

On this episode, special guest Kelly Marentette, tells me about her experience of moving to México from Canada and navigating a different culture, traditions, the struggles of learning a new language; and also the beautiful experiences she's had while embracing living in a different country than the one she was born and raised in. Kelly also shares the journey she's been on trying to find healing for both her physical and mental health. For years she’s struggled with anxiety, depression and most recently endometriosis. She tells me of an opportunity she found while looking to alleviate her symptoms and how she’s now using her platform to help others find relief as well. I had the pleasure of sharing with Lea on this episode of the podcast. Lea is a mother, sister, friend, artist, teacher, encourager, advocate, and lover of people. She is loved and appreciated by so many, myself included, because she is a person who truly takes in all of life's beautiful moments and has such a way to make everyone around her feel loved and cared for. On the episode, Lea shares with me the journey she's been on for some years now, and tells me what is felt like to navigate unknown waters as she struggled to find out why her body was suddenly so sick, the challenges of getting a diagnosis, and the work she had to do in order to begin her healing process. Ultimately, through leaps of faith and unlearning of old belief systems, she trusted herself and became comfortable with what she wanted out of life for herself. I can't wait for you all to listen in on this conversation because it did so much for my soul, and I'm sure it will touch yours too.

Hey everyone! I had the pleasure of holding a really beautiful conversation with Zoyla around healing through the understanding of our own mortality. We talked about letting go of the past, embracing the future but not at the expense of not being present in the moment. There was talk about energy, shifting memories, releasing pain of generational traumas; we talked about it all!!

After years of denying her gift of guiding others through pain and helping them find healing by letting go of their past; Zoyla is finally at a place where she is fully embracing her calling and is excited and committed to help others within our community. I was so excited to hear about her experiences and her wish to help anyone willing to make a positive change in their life. I hope you all find meaning in all we shared and if you, or anyone you know, would like to work with Zoyla; please feel free to reach out to her anytime!

On this episode I sat down with writer and comedian Che Guerrero. Che tackles difficult, yet important topics of today's world. Including, chronicling his road to becoming a U.S. citizen. Having lived undocumented for over 20 years, Che shares the struggles, frustration and uncertainty that so many in similar situations as himself face, as they navigate a system that is not as kind or fair most of the time. During our conversation, he shares the story of how he brilliantly crafted a plan to keep his job without letting his boss know his status would soon become undocumented, so that he could move away and start fresh in a different city.  Che is charismatic, funny, and so, so talented. He has made appearances on AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, and Central on BET as part of their Artist Spotlight Series.

I truly hope you tune in to listen to his story because it doesn't take much to realize just how special Che truly is.

On this episode, I met Bridgette Simpson, and she shared with me her empowering story of survival behind bars for over a decade, for a crime she did not commit. Bridgette has been free for three years now and has built a successful business helping others create a healthy relationship with money. She labels herself an abolitionist whose passion and focus is to dismantle our current judicial system, and re-build and replace with one that is just and fair for all. Her work also focuses on helping formerly incarcerated people transition out of life behind bars and into society, so that they have an opportunity to thrive on the outside.  I cannot even begin to tell you all how empowered I felt walking away from this conversation. I was so, so excited for the opportunity to chat with Julianna Esparza, founder of Adopt-A-Mom in El Paso, Tx. Adopt-A-Mom is a group of over 2,000 moms that has impacted the El Paso community in a beautiful way. This conversation is one that I have been very much looking forward to. I spoke with Rafael about the importance of being proud of who we are and where we come from. Rafael, indigenous man to what is now known as México;  has grown a huge following on social media -with over 100K followers on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook combined- and is making positive impact by sharing his roots, culture, dance, and language.
