Permission Ministries
Permission Ministries is a partnership of friends, leaders and ministries that are committed to helping each individual believer embrace their unique identity in Christ and to fully discover their personal destiny.
We do this through our network of ministries and personal mentoring and equipping. We love exploring new ways to express our faith and impact our world. It’s what we call doing church differently in the 21st century. Check out some of the ministries below.
(Permission Ministries, formerly Third Day Churches that began in 2001 with a group of pastors and friends of Gary Goodell. As a fellowship of permission givers we encourage each other to experiment with doing church and ministry differently, and hopefully more effectively in this postmodern twenty-first century.)
In this inspiring episode, Michael Hubbard sits down with long time friend "Francesca" who shares about her story of physical healing, emotional healing, and the call of God on her and her family's life to the nations.
"Francesca" cannot be named as the work her and her husband "Mark" do is considered to be illegal in their hometown.

In this episode Michael has a great conversation with long-time Third Day Churches colleague Wayne Kiger-Rice. Wayne and his wife Carol steward Voice of the Bride Ministries.
Voice of the Bride (VOB) is committed to serving the poor and needy, specifically in Mexico. Daily, we are either picking up donated food supplies for distribution in Tijuana, or distributing food and other items to those in need in the poorer parts of Tijuana. This includes orphanages, rehabs, elderly homes, women’s shelters, infirmaries, and various street outreaches, where many people hear the Gospel, as well as receive food for their families.
VOB is also committed to furthering the Kingdom of GOD through worship and intercession, believing that prayer and worship ‘grease the wheels’ of mission work. VOB has sponsored and led worship in several targeted worship and intercession events. We have led worship at various outreaches in Tijuana, and are holding regular worship events in San Diego and around the nation designed to encourage people to spend extended time before the Lord in worship and prayer, and, specifically, to extend GOD’s Kingdom on behalf of the nations through worship and intercession.

Spirit-Led Expressions
All fruitful and effective ministries are initiated and sustained by Holy Spirit. We are committed to an adventurous walk of faith and discovery trusting Holy Spirit to use each believer to serve out of his unique gift mix, which has been granted and assigned by the Spirit. These gifts are essentials to the believer being able to live out their destiny and contribute to the work of the kingdom. In other words, individual believers and the church as a whole are to be totally dependent on Holy Spirit for its identity, growth and success making us co-laborers with Holy Spirit in the work of the kingdom.

In this episode we talk about our value of Permission and Empowerment.
We believe everybody gets to play as all believers are gifted and called to participate in kingdom activity. It’s important to value, honor, cultivate and celebrate everybody’s dream, calling and unique giftedness. This means we give lots of freedom to explore and color outside the lines. Experimentation is important. Risk taking is encouraged. Mistakes aren’t seen as failures but applauded as learning opportunities. If necessity is the “mother of invention” then the needs of humanity are opportunities for Christians to step in with compassionate hearts and creative solutions. Permission granted gives believers lots of freedom and flexibility to step out with their dreams and ideas to discover effective and joyful ways to serve in the Kingdom.
