The CEC hosts a number of DePaul students to showcase their business ideas for a chance to win a scholarship in the annual Student Innovation Expo.

Along with Eric Villa, among this year's winners is Jake Bolger, creator of Spin Squared. Spin Squared offers high-energy cycling classes that combine spinning on the bike with spinning on the mix board.

How might we reduce the geography challenge for gig-workers? 

In this episode, Claoe Louis, the first-place winner of the CEC's 2021 Purpose Pitch Competition covers just that with his business, Pinwrk! 

Each year, the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center spotlights purpose-driven business ideas that focus on doing good and protecting the bottom line. The annual event explores the ideas of purpose-driven startups in Chicago. 

The Purpose Pitch is a unique pitch session where startups pitch their greater purpose and how they plan to fulfill that purpose through their business objective.
