Discussing the balance of too much or too little when speaking up about my own mental illness
I have been in a place of sadness for a number of weeks after I denied to myself that I had a difficult scenario and so it was time to speak about it before it became even more dis ease within my body.
For around two weeks I have been in a difficult mental health black hole and knowing that it has been acceptable to be there and to speak about it with far less fear than I used to have.
Today I am talking about how my journey has taken me from being involved in drama and negativity because I had little love for myself, to a place where I can offer empathy to people and let them continue on their own journey.
I talk about the difficulties that I have had when it has come to speaking up about complicated and difficult mental health issues.
