Here, she will discuss with other young people and experts, issues that the younger generation finds important, such as Mental Health & COVID-19, correct pronoun usage, and more, in order to educate the older generations on why we feel so passionate about these topics. This podcast is for Julia's Gold Award Project, that will leave her audience with more acceptance and understanding after listening to each of these episodes.
On today’s episode, my guests and I will be discussing how social media sites including Tik Tok and Instagram have pushed the standards of having a socially acceptable body, including the ways that fashion trends bring out insecurities. Additionally, we will be talking about the consequences of mothers projecting their own insecurities onto their daughters, and how those projections bring out negative impacts on mental health.
