In The Wisdom of Old -podcast we speak with various specialists about the deep wisdom of nature, earth archetypes and more. The aim is to ask creative questions and enhance positive change locally and globally, as well as to look at the healthy boundaries in different scales - like for example in context of Law of Ecocide. Dan Baron Cohen is a community performance eco-pedagogue and writer of Welsh-Quebecois origin, working and living in the Brazilian Amazon since 1999. After fifteen years collaborating with vulnerable communities in post-industrial Manchester, the North of Ireland and South Wales, Dan moved to Brazil to collaborate with landless workers survivors of the massacre of Eldorado dos Carajás (1999) and the indigenous communities of Easter Mountain (2001), producing two 'theatre' monuments. These inspired eco-pedagogical arts-rich collaborations with communities in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe, generating his Transformance pedagogy and his present 12 year Amazonian project 'Rivers of Meeting', in the Afro-indigenous community of Cabelo Seco, Marabá, Pará.
Dan has advocated for eco-pedagogies as co-founder of the World Social Forum and Latin American and Brazilian Networks since 2001, the World Alliance for Arts Education (2006-10), and is co-founder of the Ecoe Brasil Collective, campaigning through cultural and educational projects for a law in Brazil and the ICC which criminalizes Ecocide.

We discuss with Léa Weimann, who is a poet, eco-activist and graduate from global environment and climate change law -studies about poetry, Ecocide Law and COP27's youth pavillion and how art can affect directly the connections we start making in different situations. Léa has many powerful examples on how her poetry book Dear Earth and other poems were written and how they have been received by the public. We also hear two of Léa´s poems read by her.
