After a debrief of a very fun and chaotic new year, today I take a deep dive into sociological theory to (try to) explain why we are different versions of ourselves within different friendships. Society is so complex; our social interactions are shaped by how we consciously and subconsciously present ourselves. I think this is so so interesting so I thought I would discuss it in relation to friendships - something I hope you can also relate to.
I am back and ready to hit the ground running in 2023 with the classic New Year's resolution chat for you! 2023 is going to look very different for me so my goals have also been set differently this year too.

I moved out and lived in a brand new city... and now I'm about to leave. One year on and I can't say it was a wholey positive experience but it was a valuable experience for sure where I faced challenges, made friends and had a litle adventure somewhere new. In this episode, I thought I would share the useful lessons I have learned from this experience.
Discussing the impact of change and why it is important to not let the initial discomforts that come with change, prevent you from making that change. Positive or negative, changes will provide you with lessons and experiences that are necessary for growth and will bring you closer to living a life you want to lead. If you enjoy, please review the podcast and I shall see you in a couple of weeks!

Making the mundane a little better by finding small daily highlights through the theory and practice of casual magic. This is something I came across through Jade Bowler (unjaded jade) and is such a simple yet effective way to appreciate your day-to-day, especially as the colder months draw in.
