Mr. Samuel Mendy is a highly respected Finance professional with over 28 years track record of driving strategic change and strong financial governance.

He obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Business IT from the University of Portsmouth, MA in Strategic Leadership from the University of Chester and MBA from Oxford Brookes University. He is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Association of Accounting Technicians and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.

He is the Managing Partner at YBSM Partners, a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants based in Stratford, London where he leads a team of extremely brilliant Accountants and Finance Professionals deliver best in class value to Clients in the UK and beyond.

Pete Agidigbi is a former US Army Aviation Combat veteran, where he served in numerous tours of duty, including Kosovo Force (KFOR), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and other NATO-led missions. Upon leaving active duty, he transitioned into several private and public sector roles. He is currently a Financial and Cybersecurity examiner for a US Federal regulatory agency. He is also an entrepreneur in the Arts and Event Curation space (CEO Jollof and Wine) and an active Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Acquisitions Deal Syndicator (Pinnacle Enterprise Holdings, inc.).

In this episode, you will listen to my very lively conversation with Amina Ali, the 26-year-old who made it to the Lean In Equity & Sustainability ‘Power list’ 2022 in recognition of her achievements as one of Africa’s 50 most inspirational female energy executives. Passionate about developing Africa, she is the Group Project Coordinator for Ener-G-Africa, a company that manufactures and distributes Rocket Stoves free of charge to less privileged people across Africa. The company's work extends to the sale of peri-urban stoves, biomass pellets, and the manufacturing of solar panels.

Prior to stepping into her current role, Amina was on the Policy Committee of the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) and was also Committee Chairperson at NATMUN (National Model United Nations), United Nations Association of South Africa. She was a delegate at the World Youth Forum in Egypt, conducted research in advocacy and communications at African Union Youth Division and Is also an International Energy Fellow at the African Energy Chamber.

Amina is a graduate of the University of Pretoria where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law & International relations, after which she obtained Post-Graduate degree in International Politics from the University of South Africa. She has also completed the Energy within Environmental constraints at the prestigious Harvard University. She is passionate about developing Africa. Welcome back to Resonant Voices, we are delighted to be on your playlist every week.

Our guest this week is a man who has faced and overcome many challenges common to many of us who grew up on the African continent - lack, deprivation, limited access to some very basic necessities, the various forms of abuse that hurting people inflict on other hurting people amongst many other things. We discuss these issues and some more current ones like his experience in an interracial marriage and raising Kids who are of Nigerian and Latvian descent, growing up in the United Kingdom. It is truly refreshing to hear Jude speak; he is the man behind the JudeSpeakz TV brand, a platform he uses very brilliantly to share his unique thoughts on various social issues. 

Jude is a well-respected Social worker, currently doing remarkable work as a specialist palliative care social worker within Greenwich & Bexley, in London. He is a graduate of the London Southbank University where he bagged a first class honours degree in Social work and also holds an MSc in International security and global governance which he obtained from Birkbeck, University of London.

She moved to Customer Development & Shopper Marketing (CDSM) Department in 2019 as Head, Shopper Marketing Modern Trade & E-Commerce, Alternative Trade Business & Food Service Professionals to broaden her commercial acumen. She is an avid lover of family who enjoys music, travelling and reading.
