Pod Of The Century is IU Sports Media's 2022 World Cup podcast. This daily audio and video podcast features analysis and opinion of all the games in the Qatar World Cup, featuring appearances by a variety of members of the IU Sports Media program.
We recap the last action from the Round of 16, including Morocco's surprise PK win over Spain, Brazil's dominance, and Portugal's unexpected goal fiesta. We also give previews of the upcoming quarterfinals, and get some much-deserved time off to recoup after 2 1/2 weeks of nonstop footballing action.
We return for more World Cup coverage, as all four favorites cruise to victory in the first group of Round-of-16 games. We discuss France and England's impressive victories, the brilliance of Kylian Mbappe, and the highly impressive English youth movement. We also discuss The Netherlands' victory over the USA, Argentina over Australia, and the quarterfinal matchups that were generated from each result.
